Who are you putting in when there are three elite teams and ND beat one of them. That backup qb at Clemson is starting at the majority of schools this year. I'm a ND fan and realize they will get crushed.Notre Dame does not belong in this game. Their win over Clemson comes with a huge * as obviously Trevor was out as were several defensive players for Clemson. Their loss in the rematch is a much more accurate indicator of their talent.
team speed does that.Clark Lea still coaching this defense? They look horrible.
Woke up a few minutes earlyBout to take a nap. When I wake up I expect Bama to be up 14. Let’s see.
If you’re counting Notre Dame’s win over Clemson as a legit victory over a top three team, have at it.Who are you putting in when there are three elite teams and ND beat one of them. You see guys hurdle but usually get clipped or can’t land on their feet. It was almost like he didn’t break stride, what a play......Holy Najee
Harris displayed more athletic ability in that 2 second span than I have ever exhibited in my whole life put together. That 3rd down QB run screamed forfeit turtling. Absolutely unacceptable call.
bama certainly has more speed, but nd's d just looks horrible.team speed does that.
Well, they were top three all year, no matter who was the QB. They did score 40 without lawrence, not exactly the Jets.If you’re counting Notre Dame’s win over Clemson as a legit victory over a top three team, have at it.
that wasn't even like the normal case where the defender goes for the ankle tackle. that was unreal. You see guys hurdle but usually get clipped or can’t land on their feet. It was almost like he didn’t break stride, what a play......
They look like this every time they play an elite team, its the type of linebackers and DB's they recruit.bama certainly has more speed, but nd's d just looks horrible.
they didn't look like this 1st game against clemson. They look like this every time they play an elite team, its the type of linebackers and DB's they recruit.
and its not necessarily a large sample size. there's only like a handful of elite teams in football. They look like this every time they play an elite team, its the type of linebackers and DB's they recruit.
I generally agree but the ND defensive line is getting abused. Bama could honestly score every drive by handing off continuously and not using their great weapons at WR.They look like this every time they play an elite team, its the type of linebackers and DB's they recruit.
So Notre Dame and their vaunted defense gave up 40 points against a team with their back up quarterback. People don’t talk about it, but it hurt Clemson more that they were missing several defensive starters. And it did take overtime for Notre Dame to beat them. Like I said, the game a couple weeks ago was a lot better if indication of where the teams are.Well, they were top three all year, no matter who was the QB. They did score 40 without lawrence, not exactly the Jets.
True - they can handle big strongmen, and fast linemen. When teams have NFL big AND fast linemen, its a problem. They go into that shell of trying to shorten the game, when they should try to score TD's. You will never beat Bama holding them down with a slow D, so you better get a mindset of needing to score 35+.and its not necessarily a large sample size. there's only like a handful of elite teams in football.
They should have lost to Clemson in South Bend, the RB made a ####### play at the end of the game for Clemson. Now Ohio St has the type of athletes that can beat Clemson and Bama. Will they? doubtful. No one else does.So Notre Dame and their vaunted defense gave up 40 points against a team with their back up quarterback. You can watch him on split screen on the SEC Network.Rooting for Notre Dame simply so we can see Saban melt down on national television.
SEC network with the bama feed, ACC network with the ND feed. Nice concept, kudos to ESPN.You can watch him on split screen on the SEC Network.
Not sure about that 70.5. I don't think bama can get quite that high.In-game wagering after the 1st qtr
Bama -24.5, total of 70.5
Have to say Bama.
That's you're only reason?Notre Dame does not belong in this game. Their win over Clemson comes with a huge * as obviously Trevor was out as were several defensive players for Clemson. Their loss in the rematch is a much more accurate indicator of their talent.
I thought so. :high5:SEC network with the bama feed, ACC network with the ND feed. Nice concept, kudos to ESPN.
Dude, they’ve averaged 50 points a game. It’s ND that has to step up.Not sure about that 70.5. I don't think bama can get quite that high.
