Not sure if this is a hot take, but Marc Gasol looks awful.
Did you watch the game?Lebron plays 43 minutes tonight in a loss against Washington #NotMyMVP
All these OT games are killing him. He's logging major minutes and not taking days off. As much as I hate the guy, I'm even more impressed with how his body is holding up than I already was. Am shocked they're not giving him a bunch of load management as was predicted pre season. I think he wants this MVP badly... but at some point down the stretch, he's going to need to start taking some games off if they want to be fresh for the playoffs. His stamina is insane, I wonder if he can keep this up all season.Lebron plays 43 minutes tonight in a loss against Washington #NotMyMVP
It helps that they have removed 90% of the physicality from the entire sport. going forward there will an ever increasing number of guys who play just as long and some as well as Lebron.i am not a fan, but LeBron James is the most indomitable athlete of my lifetime. except that football/lacrosse great Jim Brown might have provided challenge for consideration if he'd stayed longer in competitive sports, it's not even particularly close.
I agree with everything except having him outside of your top 10. He is top 5, probably top 2 depending on how I feel about big men that day.It helps that they have removed 90% of the physicality from the entire sport. going forward there will an ever increasing number of guys who play just as long and some as well as Lebron.
30 years ago Lebron drives to the hole and gets closed lined and spends the rest of his career hiding at the three point line. Nothing will ever convince me that Lebron has the mental fortitude to compete with Jordan. I hated Jordan but he would have ripped LeBron's heart from his chest and shoved it down Lebrons neck.
Incredible athlete. Best of his generation. Firmly outside my top 10. I know, Im a big hater. Tell you what, you take your 5 and Ill take mine. Lebrons passing would be his greatest strength on the floor that day.

honestly, i think there is some PED use. He has played for 18 years, and the wear and tear on his body would seem to suggest that he has to have some addl. help. Like his hairline, i think he has to be taking something. Maybe he is on that Tom Brady TB11 that seems to beat the drug tests and have Brady looking as good as he is at this pointAll these OT games are killing him. caught some of the 2nd half. Enjoy watching Caruso play and a soft spot in my heart for Morris.Did you watch the game?
it's weird for me to be in a position of defending LeBron - i wont watch him except against my home team and in finals - but, if this guy hadda dish it out, he'd have Heinsohns & Jungle Jim Loscutoffs, or Mos & Kermits or Oaks & Mahorns bouncin' off of him. guy's a robofreak - never seen anyone reach his velocity on a hardcourt and i seen him jusplain shake off stuff that would end seasons for most.It helps that they have removed 90% of the physicality from the entire sport. going forward there will an ever increasing number of guys who play just as long and some as well as Lebron.

He’s only good because he never had to deal with Anthony Mason and John Starks.Imagine thinking two hundred pound Bill Laimbeer is going to hurt Lebron freaking James
You guys stuck in the 80s kill me.
Dude is basically Karl Malone (build wise) who can shoot, dribble, pass, is quick, and has hops. All those guys in the 80's would have been on the wrong end of those train wrecks.Imagine thinking two hundred pound Bill Laimbeer is going to hurt Lebron freaking James
You guys stuck in the 80s kill me.
You're a big zero dude. You add nothing to the conversation. What a horrible post.
Dale Davis would have ate LeBron’s lunch.Dude is basically Karl Malone (build wise) who can shoot, dribble, pass, is quick, and has hops. All those guys in the 80's would have been on the wrong end of those train wrecks.
Puuuleease. Lebron would have flopped against those guys too. He’s only good because he never had to deal with Anthony Mason and John Starks.
You just spent 3 paragraphs fantasizing about how Lebron would get clotheslined so bad in the 80s that he would just hang out at the 3 point line, and how Jordan would rip his heart out and eat it or something weird and I’m the big zero who doesn’t act this way. Ok.You a big zero dude. You add nothing to the conversation.
You don’t act like this in real life. No reason to pretend on this board.
ORLY?Dude is basically Karl Malone (build wise) who can shoot, dribble, pass, is quick, and has hops. All those guys in the 80's would have been on the wrong end of those train wrecks.
Haven't looked into the alternatives, but I'd say yes. Will Zach LaVine make the All-Star team?
You literally lack the capability to have a discussion, don’t you?You just spent 3 paragraphs fantasizing about how Lebron would get clotheslined so bad in the 80s that he would just hang out at the 3 point line, and how Jordan would rip his heart out and eat it or something weird and I’m the big zero who doesn’t act this way. Ok.
Is that a polite way of saying LBJ would have tea bagged him?Dale Davis would have ate LeBron’s lunch.
I have conversations on here all the time man. There’s really not much conversation to be had about who would dominate the 80s - Lebron James or a bunch of guys who would never ever ever make an NBA roster in 2021.You literally lack the capability to have a discussion, don’t you?
Being a smarmy Richard isn’t a reply.
You quote me, crap all over what I say and laugh but you dont have anything to say on the topic?I have conversations on here all the time man. Is your argument that LeBron flops, so he wouldn't be able to compete in the Jordan era?
No.Is your argument that LeBron flops, so he wouldn't be able to compete in the Jordan era?
“Kareem’s overrated too”
1. There are almost no flops in that awesome sweet gotcha video
It's all the mental toughness. It's amazing anyone survived the 80s with all those vicious clotheslines and whatnot.
Zach Lowe put him in a group of 7 guys (Middleton, VanVleet, LaVine, Randle, Vucevic, Trae Young, and Jimmy Butler) competing for the final two spots in the East. He ultimately settled on Randle and LaVine. Will Zach LaVine make the All-Star team?
A lot of players didn’t.It's amazing anyone survived the 80s with all those vicious clotheslines and whatnot.
Right, because being mentally tough isn’t a thing. It's all the mental toughness.
He’s won 4 titles and made 10 finals. How is he not mentally tough? Guy is playing 35 minutes plus a game at age 36 or whatever he is.Right, because being mentally tough isn’t a thing.
1) He flops in every single clip. We can debate if you boy Lebron would be able to overcome what some people call “toxic masculinity”.1. There are almost no flops in that awesome sweet gotcha video
2. You can make a "flopper" video for just about any player.
I only stated that if he played in another era- a much more physical era, he would not ever have become the player he has. He’s won 4 titles and made 10 finals. How is he not mentally tough? Guy is playing 35 minutes plus a game at age 36 or whatever he is.
JordanI would select every one of these guys ahead of Lebron each and every time:
Jordan
Wilt
Russell
Bird
Magic
Kareem
Hakim
Kobe
Duncan
Shaq
