No kidding. Sheesh. How do the Patriots manage to bend teams over every year like that? Unbelievable.Boy, did the Patriots rape the Vikings on this trade.
Disagree. The Vikings "gave up" a 3rd, 4th, and 7th. Lots of picks. But they are later.Boy, did the Patriots rape the Vikings on this trade.

They didn't give up that much. Moving up 23 spots for a 3rd, 4th and 7th.Vikings drafting Ricky Williams here?
Yeah, a number of draftniks (Williamson, Zierlein) have him as the most NFL-ready receiver. Why? I think he's quite polished and NFL ready. Not expecting much out of Hopkins right away.Hopkins and AJ are going to do wonderful things together. Great pick.
WTF are the Vikings doing?Boy, did the Patriots rape the Vikings on this trade.
Vikings just gave the city of Boston a giftThat's a lot of picks to move up. Wow.
And a 2nd.Disagree. The Vikings "gave up" a 3rd, 4th, and 7th. Lots of picks. But they are later.Boy, did the Patriots rape the Vikings on this trade.

This draft is really deep in the second, third and fourth rounds. Very nice play by the Patriots. No kidding. Sheesh. How do the Patriots manage to bend teams over every year like that? Unbelievable.Boy, did the Patriots rape the Vikings on this trade.
rams reportedly really liked hopkins... as we know, rams needed WR more than just about any team, they vetted a few prospects at the position, and i think they might have liked hopkins next best after austin...I'm good with the Hopkins pick. I think he fits Kubiak's scheme well. Solid run blocker. While a lot of people keep talking about Houston's need to stretch the field and push safeties back, Schaub's doesn't have an elite caliber arm. Too many times his receiver have to let up to not outrun the ball. I'd rather see a guy who can work the whole field for the time being.
Anyone run the trade calc numbers???Also, leave it to the Pats to know how to make a draft day trade. Raiders should be ashamed.
Plus they get that 5th year option which I think is very valuable on a guy like Patterson will take awhile to develop.Disagree. The Vikings "gave up" a 3rd, 4th, and 7th. Lots of picks. But they are later.Boy, did the Patriots rape the Vikings on this trade.
yeah, getting unbearableSeriously. This needs work.Nice time for site to suck.

And a 2nd. Granted they are sliding 23 picks. But compared to what everyone else got, it is a haul this year.Disagree. The Vikings "gave up" a 3rd, 4th, and 7th. Lots of picks. But they are later.Boy, did the Patriots rape the Vikings on this trade.
THE NEW BOARD IS GREAT!!! GOOD WORK, GUYS!!!
Screw Shefter. Watch NFLN.I tuned to NFLN for good the first time he tipped one.Shefter once again tips it.
That they would have used on a player anyway. I'm talking about what they "lost" or "gave up".And a 2nd.Disagree. The Vikings "gave up" a 3rd, 4th, and 7th. Lots of picks. But they are later.Boy, did the Patriots rape the Vikings on this trade.
can't remember last time a team took three 1st rounders (not sure if unprecedented, though?)...Three 1st round picks for Vikes. They could end up killing this draft.
True but still.
23 spots is a lot more than other teams were moving up. Good trade by the Vikes. And a 2nd. Granted they are sliding 23 picks. But compared to what everyone else got, it is a haul this year.Disagree. It's like when they traded a 1st and two 3rds for Jared Allen. They "gave up" the two thirds. That was a good play for them.True but still.
