So lets go to the start of this match. I was at work so I missed a few things. Kessie was apparently booked in the first 16 mins before Rafeal Leao scored the first CCL goal in the San Siro since 2014. Went back after the match to the first Kessie foul and it could've gone either way but considering it was his first offense I thought a warning should've been warranted but not a yellow. 28" Kessie puts in a foul another so so that most refs wouldn't throw up a Yellow. Turkish ref couldn't get the YC out of his pocket fast enough for Kessie's second YC and early shower. Rebic then get a card from the ref for complaining but everyone thinks the ref just had thin skin because it doesn't seem like Rebic ever said anything to warrant the YC.
Milan dominated the match up till the sending off and most of the 45'. Second half Milan held their own until Griezman got a header in the 84". Milan honestly still had outplayed Athletico and right after the sending off Leao almost had goal of the year where he volleyed a Bicycle kick with a defender on him off the wood work on the cross bar that would've made it 2-0 late in the 1st half. We get to extra time with Subs and such Ref gives 6 mins (don't understand why the 6). 2" min of extra time Ref calls a Penalty for Handball in the box on Milan Kalulu the kid Milan stole for free from France. However replay clearly shows the ball hits Thomas Lemar's arm before going off Kalulu and should've been ruled dead ball after hitting Lemar ruling out the Kalulu handball ( Replay here ). Ref takes about a life time to review the call and never goes to the actual VAR screen to check for a PK and rewards a PK for Athletico on the 95" min without ever going to the VAR side to check video. yes the Ref spent like 4 mins just standing there while both clubs players huddled around him doing nothing and never checked the actual video himself. Rat Face provocative World Cup Bitter Luis Suarez hits a goal on the PK to give AM the lead. Ref I guess decided given all the time he wasted on making sure the call that was never right was still wrong decided to put extra mins on. Hence why you saw 11 extra mins there.
Milan was absolutely robbed of at least a 1 Point probably 3 with the way they were playing Madrid never woke up until almost an hour or so into the match. Had it not been for the sending off it could've easily been 2-0 or 3-0 at the Half. A lot of non Milan fans are even mad. Even Juve and Inter supporters were like wow they got robbed. But what else is new in UEFA of a Serie A team getting robbed these days. Why should Inter and Milan play by FFP rules but PSG can put a Fifa Ultimate team lineup on the pitch with FIFA not batting an eye lash. Real Madrid and Barca are in massive debt and FIFA hasn't even blinked at them yet?

tl;dr
That’s not the game I’m talking about
Wat????
How did we get 11 extra minutes in the San Siro - was there an injury during ET?
ETA - said there was 6 minutes.
You replied to the wrong post - kind of helps the contextMilan played at the San Siro you asked about why there's 11 mins at the san Siro left. So I responded
There was a PK review the ref took like 5 mins to make a decision on and never went to VAR and still got it wrong. Madrid scored the Penalty and they played until the 11th min given all the time the PK review took up
You asked this question. Milan played at Home Inter was away tonight

Ok, time for United to make a statement vs Villareal. Must win and take control of this group.
No Shaw or Maguire due to Injusry
No AWD due to the red card (2 more games banned, now go see KDB get away with similar in PSG/City)
De Gea
Dalot Varane Lindelof Telles
McT
Bruno Pogba
Greenwood Ronaldo Sancho
I realize Pogba will drop deeper but I am hoping McT shows something as a holder to allow Pogba to get forward more.
Telles trying to make us Sunday leaguers feel better
He's also out another 1 or 2 games....So AWB's red card screwed United in the 1st and 2nd matches.
Whatever the opposite of MOTM is, he and Dalot are trying really hard to get it. Dalot in the lead currently.
They all seem to like him and I haven't heard any grumblings other than the normal Pogba chatter. But you arent entirely wrong with the though.Considering the signings and the start to the season there was a lot of optimism. Ole better hope that CR, Bruno or Pogba doesn't push to get him out or he may not make it much longer.
I'm not suggesting they should but CR didn't come here to get eliminated in the group stage or not challenge for silverware. He and probably those other two would have the clout to push him out if they wanted. I agree that I think they like him but the question to me is do they respect him and his management. They all seem to like him and I haven't heard any grumblings other than the normal Pogba chatter. CR7 came to get out of Juve and come home.I'm not suggesting they should but CR didn't come here to get eliminated in the group stage or not challenge for silverware. Interesting CR7 out wide with Cavani up top...
I've heard that a few times since CR7 came in. Will Ole be strong enough to sit him or sub him...Announcer made a good point earlier - Ole is going to have to have the balls to pull CR when needed. I'm not sure he needed to today but I think it's a great observation.
As loved as CR is, fans will want to see Rashford Greenwood Sancho running free at times....Announcer made a good point earlier - Ole is going to have to have the balls to pull CR when needed. I'm not sure he needed to today but I think it's a great observation.

I think he will be fine and the three will be a force.Still really early and he needs time and is young but so far he's not impressed. Maybe he's pressing.
It has to be said.....incredible poise and touch by Lingard. AND the presence of mind to tuck and get small to make sure it didnt hit him on the way through
