Interesting ... what could we call such shot with his head?![]()
Robbie Earle: "Thats like a shot with his head!"
dont askInteresting ... what could we call such shot with his head?
Why isn't that hand shaking?
Hes waiting for a bigger gameEven Zlatan cannot always be Zlatan.
He got Moyesed, then reinvented as a defender by LVG and now Mou has him looking good againBTW, hard to think of a more underrated player than Tony V.
YesFriday EPL? Is this a new thing?
...or a worse nicknameBTW, hard to think of a more underrated player than Tony V.
I'm watching it (hate-watching it is probably a more apt description). Started off as pretty entertaining as the Swedes made an effort to get forward early on, creating a few chances early. Germany has had some good chances, should have finished at least one of them (as I'm typing, they just put one away from the top of the box).anybody watching Sweden vs Germany for "gold"?
funny- I was just wondering when the US was going to play for bronze... and then remembered. looks like canada beat brazil for it- good for them![]()
eta: would be cool if Honduras can get by Nigeria on the mens' side to bring back double hardware to CONCACAF
If there are soccer gods, they will have Sweden lose this match to Brazil on an own goal that occurs after the keeper makes a save that rebounds off one of the fifty-three defenders Sweden has stationed in the box. God, I hate watching teams park the bus.
Of course, Brazil could help things by actually showing some creativity in their attack. Too many long shots and predictable crosses against defenders six inches taller than them.
Also, I wonder how many threads this post qualifies for - I can think of four off the top of my head (this one, soccer, Olympics, and Olympic chicks).
I personally thought ManU looked very shaky on defense and gave up loads of space to Southampton.Let me be the first to say I have no complaints about Fellaini's play today.
Very few teams are going to run by 3 of the 4 United defenders. Pogba, Martial, Mhky, Zlatan are going to be fun to watch. Bailly too.
I think Fellatio will do just fine defensively, & the whole reason Pogba is there, is to relieve defensive pressure via his attacking intent/qualities.I personally thought ManU looked very shaky on defense and gave up loads of space to Southampton.
Its early days, but Fellaini and Pogba in the middle isnt all that great from a defensive standpoint. Once they play a team with a shred of offensive ability it will be interesting.
But you honestly couldn't have asked for a better opening script for ManU. Bournemouth, Southampton and Hull City may end up being 3 of the bottom 5 offenses this year, then ManU gets 2 weeks before their first real test against Man City.
A match too late, though Sweden's win spared Brazil seeing another of their national teams lose to Germany.
Wrong threadSterling seems to be playing much better early in the season
Me: Wow, Liverpool gave up a freebie to a team just promoted....Burnley - wow, nice start
Didn't get to watch until last night but he's had two really good games to start the season. He was off the last two years under LvG but looks rejuvenated so far.BTW, hard to think of a more underrated player than Tony V.
I blame it on the kits. It's like the Burnley players are just weaving in between cones on the practice field.
It will make it easier on them when Klopp makes them work the side of the roadwayI blame it on the kits. It's like the Burnley players are just weaving in between cones on the practice field.
But, but, but soccer is just kicking the ball and the team that kicks it most wins22% possession and up 2-0
