Chelsea ripping Juve a new one now.  What a difference Tuchel has made.  They're so tight at the back that they just wear you out as the game goes on.
I had my doubts when he was linked to United and went to Chelsea instead.  He has done the job for Chelsea.  They do look like a contender for multiple trophies this year.

Klopp going full Football Manager with this rotation. Dig it
This is a deceptively strong lineup.

With how Tsimikas and Konate have played so far this year it's really only Neco and Morton that are surprises.

But even there... Neco has been lights out for Wales and in his Liverpool cameos too.  And, if you believe the press clippings, Morton may be the next great academy product.

For sure, Liverpool are deep finally. The lineup I saw actually had Origi in over Mane, so that alone is a big difference.

Curtis Jones hurt I assume?

PSG is such a weird team. Basically it's like u10 rec league team- kick it up the good kids up front and hope they do something.

City looked good, deserved the win and should've scored more. And yet, couldve lost too.

I did not see the game, but it appears that Chelsea are worried that Chilwell tore his ACL.  Sad news if that is true.

Tuchel: "Ben Chilwell is out. He has a partial tear of his ACL, and the decision is to treat it conservatively. The next six weeks will tell the story if he makes it and be available or if he will need surgery."

:lmao:

16: Stoppage here as the Referee has to inform a steward it was in fact his car that needs moving as per the most recent tannoy announcement.

Looking at the schedule, from today until January 2nd (5 weeks) there are NINE EPL matches scheduled for the teams (looked at Liverpool and Chelsea). That's insane. Not including a UCL match and a League Cup match.
