I wasn't listening closely, but seems that VAR looked at the play and deemed Everton offside before the handball.
oh- ok. I completely missed what the hell happened then... I had the game on my phone as I was doing other stuff, heard and saw them showing that handball... I assumed it was in the lead-up to MC's goal, which then shouldn't have counted. totally missed that it was in MC's box as a possible Everton game-tying PK.

I'm watching TOR v DAL.

Nelson for TOR looks like the most dangerous player on the field... basically another Taj Buchannan type of skills and position. and dammit- he's Canadian.

but we had a Pomy to Nips to other guy goal already. Pomy looking good, as is Servania. Jesus playing a 9, but doesn't look totally comfortable yet in terms of where to go (dropping deep, whether by design or natural inclination, I don't know). But I'm glad he's getting time there to hopefully grow into it if needed for the US. and hopefully the other two continue to grow to feature for the US.

oh yeah. and Caillou is out there too.

That is a ridiculous call.

Mane and Jota and Salah would love to have every touch like that be whistled when they're on the ball in the box.

Ok, going to reverse course here.  It's the fact that VvD is offside as a pick is the call.  Not the pick itself.

It's still ridiculous given what officials deem "not involved" on a routine basis, but that's actually a great call IMO.

But if it's not a pick, then how is he involved?

Seems like all of the LFC v City and LFC v Chelsea matches are instant classics in the last few years.  Two absolutely top teams playing to win and not afraid to lose.  Just great to watch.
I was thinking the exact same thing watching this morning and I was going to come and ask a question.

Let's just go with City. Which would be considered the better matchup/higher quality? Liverpool/City over the last couple years or Barca/Real Madrid from a few years ago (Messi vs Ronaldo era)?

Has to be one of the best 0-0 games I've ever watched.  These two teams are so evenly matched.  Both goalies have stood on their heads today.
