!!! and with a huge PK save on the very first kick.Samba, aka Horvath's replacement, just made a MONSTER save to keep Nott in this thing.
saved by Samba- his 3rd (this one was pretty weak, tbh)!!3-2, Forr kid just blasted it high to keep Sheff in this.....
and regardless of who wins, there's no way either of these teams stays up. but should be fun for the fans and team to see EPL teams and players every week.saved by Samba- his 3rd (this one was pretty weak, tbh)!!
the case of the mysterious bathing whore and Holmes in Wembley is ON!
oh crap... for some reason I thought you were a Wednesday supporter. sucks, man... they played well at least. I'd have been rooting for Sheff if I had remembered.of course the two players who primarily take our set pieces miss. devastated, but the plus side is the money saved through not going to wembley will pay for a season ticket next season
I've felt this way for weeksCletiusMaximus said:I feel like I can cancel Peacock today.
it plays about a minute, and then cuts to a couple minutes of commercials... rinse repeat.anybody else having issues with this game on Peacock?
eta: it says "coverage will resume shortly"...
0-2I don't have Peacock, watching Eve vs. CP on USA. FYI, Palace up 0-1.
we need Burnley to lose.0-2
Uh oh, Everton. Might need to go watch Burnley now.
I’m torn. On one hand, want Jesse/Leeds to stay up. On the other more vindictive hand, I want Jordan Pickford to cry.we need Burnley to lose.
- #1 fan of Leeds/Jesse Marsch for the next week.
We can get both.I’m torn. On one hand, want Jesse/Leeds to stay up. On the other more vindictive hand, I want Jordan Pickford to cry.
Speaking of Pickford, he's been pretty great for Everton this year. But will 3 Lions really start a Championship GK in the 2022 WC? Can you imagine?I’m torn. On one hand, want Jesse/Leeds to stay up. On the other more vindictive hand, I want Jordan Pickford to cry.
it was azteca prefok/CP-esquewow - I think the chance Pulisic just fluffed probably qualifies as a "sitter." No idea what happened there. On a platter for him.
crazy.Everton again. 3-2, 85'.
Dreams of Pickford in the Championship seem to be fading into the night...
Goodison Park is electric. Crazy atmosphere. If Everton can avoid the drop, the fans deserve a lot of the credit. The atmosphere there has been nuts the last few weeks.crazy.
I should be watching that one instead of this parked bus vs Chelsea.
I don't know, Emmy Rossum in a new show... may check out before cancelling.Yeah - definitely cancelling Peacock after this game, despite the very intriguing front page banner for the new series, "Angelyne."
Liverpool, Everton, United, City, Arsenal, Tottenham, Chelsea, West Ham, Villa, Leeds, Newcastle, Sunderland -- these are the teams I always feel like "belong" in the EPL. Maybe not coincidentally, that's 12 of the 13 teams with stadia that hold 38k+ (Wednesday is the other).I’m supposed to hate Sunderland but I’m glad they won promotion to the Championship. I’d like to see them keep going so I can experience meaningful Newcastle/Sunderland derbies. I was still in Pittsburgh when the original Browns left and we were almost as angry as the Browns fans were - our hated rival was stolen from us! I feel the same here - I’ll hate Sunderland when it’s time to do so.
Agreed, except for Richarlison.Liverpool, Everton, United, City, Arsenal, Tottenham, Chelsea, West Ham, Villa, Leeds, Newcastle, Sunderland -- these are the teams I always feel like "belong" in the EPL. There are some live-by-their-wits teams I hope do well too, but I don't miss them when they're gone.
And I adopted Liverpool a long time ago and the connection seems to get deeper as I get older, but I don't really root against Everton at all. City and United are really the only teams I want to see suffer.

They have some of the best songs, almost makes them endearing:My brother (Arsenal) has been sending me (Tottenham) Norwich City gifs for the last day.
There's more Norwich City gifs than I would have ever imagined
They have some of the best songs, almost makes them endearing:
Let’s pretend we scored a goal! Followed by a countdown and wild cheering. Hilarious.
