Field goal wins Super Bowl XL, would you prefer to have your offense or defense out there when the game is on the line?

I cant see how anyone would want to be the team down by two at that point
I can't either. I also think the score is a major part of this question--is it a 12-10 game or a 37-35 game? If the defenses are controlling the field then of course I'd want to be ahead with the other team trying to score--

but if it's been a high octane scoring fest with nobody stopping anything then down two with the ball carries good odds...

For the record--I'm guessing something along the lines of 27-24.

Regardless--you always want to be up. Can't believe there are actually votes for wanting their team to be down.

Obviously, everybody would want to be UP by two WITH the ball, but that wouldn't make a very good poll. The question boils down to whether you trust your offense or your defense more in a desperate situation. Can your offense gain 30+ yards in 2 minutes to get into FG range or can you stop the other team from gaining the 30+ yards in 2 minutes to get into FG range?
