It is not. I have the exact same percentage as this morning.106 with Doucet, Grant, and Jennings. Feeling better about squeezing through with 8 WC players. Losing Grant and Jennings for round 2 will hurt, but I pick up my Vikes and Chargers...Anyone know if the updated Sim includes the early game today?
Great news! I'm probably stil out, but it shows I have 69 with Edelman and Doucet today. I still have hope.It is not. I hit the Edelman/Felix/Doucet trifecta...now, if the Pack can complete this big comeback, I'll love my team for next week...Very nicely done... this crushes my SD/Minn built team if you make it past this week.I tried to make SD vs MIN work...my last move was to put in LT for Watson and Cundiff. I may have left round 1 too thin though...only a 47.4% chance to survive per the simulator. A TD catch from Doucet would help a lot!Philip Rivers $28 0.00 LaDainian Tomlinson $17 0.00 Darren Sproles $13 0.00 Vincent Jackson $21 0.00 Julian Edelman $11 0.00 Thomas Jones $14 0.00 New York Jets $7 0.00 Brett Favre $25 0.00 Adrian Peterson $25 0.00 Sidney Rice $19 0.00 Percy Harvin $16 0.00 Jim Kleinsasser $2 0.00 Felix Jones $8 0.00 Shaun Suisham $6 0.00 Early Doucet $5 0.00 Ryan Grant $17 0.00 Greg Jennings $16 0.00
Really? Awesome. Him and Warner might just get me by...if I'm reading the scoring right, does Rodgers have 37.7 points right now??
And does anyone know what the projected cut will be?
You have to plan for teams like that... I planned for a lot of them.My team has a 56% chance of making it though this week. I really didn't expect this much trouble getting through Week 1.
Ok, so this is just a rant, but bear with me.
It's teams like this that drive me nuts: 100865
Cedric Benson $16 0.00
Ray Rice $16 0.00
Thomas Jones $14 0.00
Tony Romo $26 0.00
Miles Austin $22 0.00
Kurt Warner $21 0.00
Larry Fitzgerald $19 0.00
Aaron Rodgers $30 0.00
Ryan Grant $17 0.00
Greg Jennings $16 0.00
Donovan McNabb $23 0.00
DeSean Jackson $19 0.00
Jeremy Maclin $11 0.00
They spent the majority of their money($204) on NFC WC teams.
Sure this strategy will get you through week 1. In subsequent weeks they will have atleast$102 in wasted roster space, not to mention at most 6 scoring players.
Best case scenario, they somehow make it to the SB, but will undoubtedly be out-gunned.
Why even bother. Seriously!
ok rant off.
Should be sufficient.Half the entries rodgers and his 52 points. That slacker Warner only had 49 points.134.10 but I'm afraid that won't be enough.
I think < 1000.ETA 499.I only had 7 players this weekend, and got about 179 with them. This was just eyeing most stats very quickly though, so I'm guessing I'm off a bit. I did have Rogers and Warner both, so I'm sure a bunch of teams might have had these two guys.
The only reason to pick both would be to ensure making it past the first week, since one of the 2 is out after that. It's teams like that that will make the first week so tough for a lot of SB heavily weighted teams to advance.I think < 1000.ETA 499.I only had 7 players this weekend, and got about 179 with them. I actually just rescored, I think I might be over 200. Anyway, I'm very QB heavy, and will have 6 of them playing next week. I think I will make it through the first three rounds, and then lose in the last round, unless the Ravens make it to the Superbowl, which I don't think will happen. I will have a lot of QB's going each week, but would only have QB's going in the Superbowl and that pretty much eliminates me vs. all of the people who guessed the two SB teams.Oh well, didn't think it through too well at the end.The only reason to pick both would be to ensure making it past the first week, since one of the 2 is out after that. It's teams like that that will make the first week so tough for a lot of SB heavily weighted teams to advance.I think < 1000.ETA 499.I only had 7 players this weekend, and got about 179 with them. Warner did look like a huge bargain for $21. Since I built a roster around a Dallas Super Bowl, I figured Warner and Rodgers would post nice complimentary scores in week 1 and the other would help in week 2. Hopefully there huge scores will obilterate a lot of teams who loaded up on bye week players. I think 148.2 here. Should be good to move on unless I botched somewhere adding up.I thought Philly was going to win, so that turns into my only real miss that I hadn't planned on (I knew I'd either lose Warner/Wells or Rodgers and I was fine with that). I definitely had Romo+Jones+extra cash in some of my iterations, I just made a bad prediction.Looking good for week 3 if we have Arz vs Min and Ind vs NYJ.I definitely think 4+ QBs are the way to go in this format and your best bet at getting by week 1. Very suprised that only 499 entries had Warner and Rodgers selected (saw that noted above). Maybe the thought of knowing you'd lose one player scared people off of a strategy like that (or some probably went Fitz+arz player or Grant+Finley, for example).Went big with Colts, although no Addai/Wayne/Clark. Tried to be a bit different in that regard. Wanted to just get by this weekend. The sim has this team at 4087 iirc, so I think I accomplished that. Now just have to see what happens.Just looking at my team now though..I'm not thrilled. I had not planned on Wells and Bush but for some reason they fell into my final iteration. Late night tweaking last night seems just so-so.Peyton Manning $29 0.00 Donald Brown $9 0.00 Austin Collie $14 0.00 Pierre Garcon $13 0.00 Indianapolis Colts $9 0.00 Thomas Jones $14 0.00 Brad Smith $2 0.00 Reggie Bush $13 0.00 Brett Favre $25 0.00 Sidney Rice $19 0.00 Kurt Warner $21 0.00 Chris Wells $10 0.00 Aaron Rodgers $30 0.00 Donovan McNabb $23 0.00 DeSean Jackson $19 0.00
I should be in good shape with 160+. Lost the GB D and Edelman. Any guesses as to what the cut off will be this week?Peyton Manning $29 0.00 Donald Brown $9 0.00 Reggie Wayne $23 0.00 Dallas Clark $26 0.00 San Diego Chargers $10 0.00 Julian Edelman $11 0.00 Thomas Jones $14 0.00 Brad Smith $2 0.00 Dustin Keller $9 0.00 Marques Colston $19 0.00 Tony Romo $26 0.00 Marion Barber $14 0.00 Sam Hurd $2 0.00 Shaun Suisham $6 0.00 Kurt Warner $21 0.00 Larry Fitzgerald $19 0.00 Green Bay Packers $10 0.00 -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------TOTAL 0.00 CUTOFF 0.00 Went with a Dallas/Indy SB. No idea if I make it past this week.
Who's gonna break the news to joffer...when can we set our starting lineups for next week?

Should have been an illegal kick and a dead ball133.9If I miss by less than a point, I am writing a letter to the NFL to review the final play...that should have been an INT on Rodgers instead of a fumble.
The rules state no stat adjustments.133.9If I miss by less than a point, I am writing a letter to the NFL to review the final play...that should have been an INT on Rodgers instead of a fumble.

2000 place scored 158.9 this week. With more players in play from the teams with the bye what can we expect next week?
