2010 Offseason Dynasty Trades (1 Viewer)

12 team PPR, start 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1RB/WR, 1TE, 1K, 1DSTTeam A gives: 1.01/GarconTeam B gives: Austin/1.08/2.04
Long term....don't like it. I rather have Dez Bryant all day than Austin and say Tate or who ever you take at 1.8. And Garcon was a nice throw in.Team B wins.
I'm just the opposite, like the A side by quite a bit. But I think Austin>1.01.
:D Austin > 1.012.04 = Garcon1.08 thats just a bonus
You were closeAustin > 1.011.08 = Garcon2.04 thats just a bonusTeam A wins this and I'm not even that high on Austin.
I seriously doubt you would find 10 people out of 100 who would take Austin over the 1.01.

* Team A gave up Johnson, Chris TEN RB;Hill, Jason SFO WR;Jones, James GBP WR

* Team B gave up Orton, Kyle DEN QB;Jackson, Steven STL RB;Ochocinco, Chad CIN WR

I think he's saying that is a HORRIBLE deal for team A. You could add J Hill and J Jones to the other side, and I still wouldn't do that deal (giving up Johnson for all of that).
Ok. The owner of Team B is a really close friend of mine. When he called to tell me that Team A offered that to him, I spit my beer all over my computer. I told him to accept it before Team A thought twice about it. Team A is still defending that trade, to much razzing .

12 team PPR, start 1QB, 1RB, 2WR, 2 flex (RB/WR/TE), 1TE, 1K, 1D

Team A gives: Ray Rice, Anthony Dixon, 2011 2nd

Team B gives: Wells, Roddy, 2011 3rd

3 way trade completed

Team A RECEIVES 1.02, 3.01, 2nd Rnd (2011) AND GIVES UP A-Boldin, 3.09

Team B RECEIVES M-Ryan, 2.01, 3.09, 1st Rnd (2011), 1st Rnd (2012) AND GIVES UP M-Colston, 3.01

Team C RECEIVES M-Colston, A-Boldin AND GIVES UP 1.02, 2.01, Ryan, 1st Rnd (2011), 1st Rnd (2012)
Team C gave up way too much.

1.08 turned out to be Demaryius Thomas, Mathews at 1.01.

When there's two other teams in the deal and they both made out like bandits, something's wrong.

Start 2 QB league (not many of these out there, I guess)

10 teams

Team A gets:

JAY CUTLER

JEREMY MACLIN

2011 3rd round pick

Team B gets:

KYLE ORTON

BRADY QUINN

MATT LEINART

Love it for team A. I think the gap from Wells to Rice narrows quite a bit this year. Even now the gap between the two is not worth someone as good as Roddy.

Phillip Rivers QB SD

Shawn Nelson TE BUF

2011 1st round pick

2011 2nd round pick

2011 2nd round pick

Matt Hasselbeck QB SEA

Brandon Pettigrew TE DET

4 pt passing TDs

1/25 passing yards

PPR

1/10 receiving yards

The first is probably between 5th and 8th, but if that team clicks it could be pretty late.

Trade just completed in my league

New Mexico gave up:

Year 2010 Draft Pick 1.01

Year 2011 Round 2 Draft Pick from New Mexico

Oklahoma gave up:

Flacco, Joe BAL QB

Gonzalez, Anthony IND WR

Year 2010 Draft Pick 1.04

Year 2010 Draft Pick 4.03

Hate it for Team A.No way Wells is anywhere close to the value of Rice. Hightower still factors in, still gets rec's and still sees goal line. Rice had ~2000 yds from scrimmage last year. Depending where that 2nd pick is, that trade could be a huge loss for Team A.As a Rice owner, no way I trade Rice for Wells/White, forget about giving up Dixon and a 2nd rounder from next year too, which figures to be a very deep class.

It was a big upgrade to your team. Only thing is your depth at RB is pretty weak (even after your 1st this year), and now you don't have any chance of replenishing that unless you sell/downgrade one of your WRs

I like all the players involved in this deal. This is an example of a good trade IMO. I agree that the gap narrows between Rice and Beanie this year, but that's speculative. It is a pretty pretty big gap between Roddy and and Anthony Dixon, but you have to spend something to get the prize (Ray Rice). I'm a Dixon fan as well. He dropped in the draft because of weight/character issues. However, Dixon appears to be on the right track and Singletary will nip any nonsense in the bud. Gore is a 225 carry back, so with Singletary wanting to run the ball more, you have to like a big back like Dixon in that offense. It's quite possible that Dixon puts up enough points to be a decent #4 back this season.

I would rather have Mccoy/1.04 than Matthews.
I would rather have Dez than McCoy/1.04.
Not in No-PPR
Even moreso in a non-PPR, where the best of the best wideouts are worth more.
My No-PPR league had 12 RBs score more than 190 pts last year, from those 12 RBs, 8 had more than 200 pts, 7 had more than 215 pts and 4 of those were north of 250+ and we know who they are.We had 4 WRs score more than 190 pts, 3 score 200+ and none were past 215 pts.I don't own the #1 rookie pick in any No-PPR league I'm in but if I had it I'm taking the RB.

Which is exactly why you take Dez with 1.02. 12 guys at the RB position reached a similar level of production. So they aren't that scarce. If Dez becomes one of those 4 guys at the WR position performing above and beyond everyone else, you have a distinct advantage over the other teams. RBs are easy to find, and they're volatile year-to-year while the wideouts aren't near as volatile. If you get a top 5 WR, he'll probably finish in the top 10 in scoring year in and year out. RBs change around all the time, appear, come off the waiver wire, and backups produce after a simple injury. Not so at the WR position. In a non-PPR the top level WRs are worth more than in a PPR

10 team PPR

I Gave: E Doucet, C Shilens, L Robinson

I Got: Zach Miller (Oak)

I'm loaded at WR (see sig) so I didn't really need any of these guys. I didn't really need Miller either though since I have Finley.

Still don't know what to think of the move cuz I loved the upside of all three guys. I mostly did it so I could package up Finley or Miller with Colston or MSW for another upgrade at WR or RB. Trying to sell those 3 WR's I traded along with a decent on like Colston or MSW wasn't working. People either didn't have the roster space or they just looked at it like I was offer one decent WR and junk for an upgrade.

16 Team PPR Dynasty

Team A Received: Santana Moss

Team B Received: Thomas Jones and 27th Pick Overall

Team C Received: Thomas Jones and Jason Cambell

Team D Received: Mario Manningham and Fred Davis

Team A gets Greene, LT, Nicks and KellerTeam B gets Moreno, Steve Smith (Car) and Olsen
WOW! Team B gave up way too much IMO. Why do this deal? Big on Moreno or S Smith with Matt Moore? Greene >> MorenoNicks = S Smith (Car) slight edge to Nicks on age Keller > OlsenLT is just insurance for Greene

14 team, no PPR Dynasty

Team A gives up Rashard Mendenhall and Willis McGahee

Team B gives up Andre Johnson

Dynasty PPR

Team A gave up:

David Garrard

Arian Foster

Miles Austin

Team B gave up:

Jason Campbell

Knowshon Moreno

Steve Smith (CAR)
Seeing this makes me kick myself again for waiving Austin in 2008...considering what he netted.Personally I am not a huge Moreno fan I would rather have Austin but the trade seems fair.
