2010 Offseason Dynasty Trades (2 Viewers)

Sent: PPR, start 3wr league.

1.3, Eddie Royal, 22nd overall Pick

for

1.2, and 20th overall pick

I felt that getting Matthews was bigger than taking Best at 1.3

That owner then took Tate at 1.3 leaving me to decide between Best/Spiller at 1.4 and I took Spiller

I made a couple trade in the last two days.

Trade 1 (0.5 PPR for WR and TE only) - I gave Kenny Britt and Ramses Barden for Sam Bradford and Legedu Naanee. I didn't really need Bradford, I just like him a lot. I probably needed Britt more, but what the hell, go get what you want.

Trade 2 (PPR) - I gave Ahmad Bradshaw and Percy Harvin for Michael Crabtree and a 2011 2nd rd pick. I don't really need Bradshaw in this league, so I really like this trade.

Harlem Trades Kolb (Phil) QB TOOklahoma For 2nd Round (#13) & New Mexico 2nd Round (2011)
Unless you believe that Kolb will entirely flop or your scoring system majorly devalues QBs, I don't see moving him for a couple of 2nd round picks, even high ones.

This is never a good reason to trade a player.

I liked it before saying he didnt need Bradshaw. The fact that he doesnt need him is simply gravy. (Or that's how I read it)

I prefer the Harvin side, but i dont have Crabtree and Harvin ranked that far apart. The gap between Bradshaw and a 2nd is much bigger than between the WR's.

Well that's it then. I think Crabtree will be significantly better than Harvin.

I like the Crabtree side too but it's descent for both teams.

As do I. I have a major man-crush on Bradshaw, but I'd move Harvin/Bradshaw for Crabtree and not think twice about it. As much as I dislike Crabtree, he's just that good IMO.

That's a lot to pay to get Calvin for team A - advantage team B. Though interesting overall pending what happens over the next few years in PIT.
Not a bad trade for either side, but I personally like the trade for A more. It's funny that almost all of these players have some question marks (Dez is a rookie, will he boom or bust? Is Mendy a RB1? Is jennings going to take the Braylon route and post just one big fantasy season? Is Calvin worth his lofty status? Does Ben bounce back? Will PT get enough carries?) But I think the two main players Team A got (Mendy/Calvin), along with Ben, have less questions about them, and are worth the price paid.

Team B got this one
Really? Ryan trumps Lynch by a nice margin, but the 1.2 is worth way more than the 1.4 this year, and A also gets a 1st rounder from next year's highly touted draft crop.

If you leave the 3rd rounders out of it, since they are insignificant clutter anyway, it breaks down as:

(B gets) Ryan/1.4

for

(A gets) Lynch/1.2/2011 1st

I actually prefer Team A's side since I view Ryan as a low end QB1. If you see him as a top 5 type, then I can see liking the other side. You get Dez or Matthews rather than Best or Spiller. And, you get a nice pick in 2011, plus a RB with a shot at a resurgence if/wen he is traded. You give up Matt Ryan.

:hophead: The guy let his man-crush get in the way of trading for even value. No way Ryan is worth that much. If Best is sitting there for team B, then it helps, but still doesn't even the trade out.

Maybe the guy just bought the The fantasy Index like I did tonight because has Ryan ranked #3 keeper league QB ahead of Rodgers who was #5

Man I love this for team B.
I thought the same. The team acquiring Bowe owns Vincent Jackson while the team acquiring the draft pick and Cook is rebuilding. When people are rebuilding, I never understood why they trade away young talent. Why not build around Bowe?

Team A gives:Devin ThomasEarly DoucetBrandon TateChaz SchilensTeam B gives:Steve Smith- NYG
Could definitely backfire. Nicks coming up in NY, while Thomas, Tate, and Schilens all look to see some opportunity to be their team's #1 in the very near future. Tate after Moss, Thomas maybe this season, and Schilens the same.Steve Smith isn't what I would call a "top 15" receiver, and I think Tate at least could be as soon as the 2011 season.
