Team B trades Percy Harvin

Seems strange, why would someone trade Harvin straight up for Crabtree?

I watched someone trade Harvin away in th middle of my $750 league last year straight up for Bradon Tate so anything can happen.

I would much prefer Crabtree over Tate right now.

Where did an 11 year old girl get $750?

I'm not usually one to call out trades...but the guy getting a top 8 TE and a 1st rounder for a bunch of crap that probably gets cut by season's end is a clear winner. Talk about "trade-rape"

I disagree. That 1st is an unknown, and could end up only a few picks better than the 2nds received in return. We just don't know enough to evaluate that part of the deal.Do you really expect Marcedes Lewis to again be TE8? Fluke. He had been TE 24, 20, and 21 the previous 3 years and the 10 TDs he had last year will not be repeated I promise you. James Jones and Santana Moss are EACH worth more than Lewis in trade.(I was not involved in the trade by the way.)

I see the 2011 2.02 as worth close to the 2012 1st. Even if you add the 3.02 for the 1st, the rest is landslide for the one receiving Moss/Jones, imo

I'm in this league, but not involved in the this trade. That 2012 1st is likely 1.01. Fwiw.

I was thinking the opposite - that's outright theft for Miles. Ford may develop into a solid receiver, but late firsts are a crapshoot and he gets use of Miles for years before those picks are even useful.

Who's to say they will be late firsts? I've seen good teams finish in the bottom 5 for a top 5 pick.

I tend to agree in the long run, however my team is in win now mode and Edwards does nothing to help me. I don't see the upside with Edwards like I do with Boldin. I may regret trading Keller but I'm not sure if the Jets will ever take advantage of his talents.

I agree, try making this trade next year, it would be impossible. I see similar production from these two For 2011 and quite a big drop off starting 2012. This is a great trade in terms of dynasty, IMO.
