Good lord. Someone got a haul for Ryan. I'll take the Romo/Ridley/Britt side every time. And I'm not even a big Ridley fan.Team A getsMatt RyanTeam B getsTony RomoStevan RidleyKenny Britt
If you end up with a 14 1st i like the first one.Not a huge fan of the second one as that is selling low on the WRs and buying high on Ryan.Couple of trades I gave: Shane VereenI got: 2013 2nd(2.1-2.3)In this league, we only have to start 1 RB, and I'm set at the position. I'm hoping to flip this pick into a 2014 1st closer to draft time.I gave: Torrey Smith, Kenny BrittI got: Matt RyanGuy I was trading with already has RG3 and scoring 4/1, 25/1 (so RG3>Ryan). I needed a QB and am very stocked at WR. Relevant lineup is 1 QB, 2 WR, and 2 FLEX. Interested in thoughts on this one.
When did this become the thread for trade proposals?

I like the trade just fine. Kenny Britt is a question mark now. If he comes all the way back and is a stud, then oops... but if he doesn't, his trade value plummets. I like Torrey Smith, but don't think he is a stud. There is some risk that the WRs you gave up blow up, but you cannot get something without giving something. I like Matt Ryan to stay very productive as long as his weapons stay healthy.I gave: Torrey Smith, Kenny BrittI got: Matt RyanGuy I was trading with already has RG3 and scoring 4/1, 25/1 (so RG3>Ryan). Really?Team A - Schaub, M ; Crabtree, MforTeam B - Johnson, Calvin, Cook J
You're wrong about him sucking. Over-rated? Yes, but there aren't many decent FF rbs.Opinion: McFadden sucks.
Yep, really. Team A has a history of really odd (read:bad-looking) trades. More than a few work out for her, but this one is a big-time head-scratcher considering Team A already has Cam and Flacco at QB.Really?Team A - Schaub, M ; Crabtree, MforTeam B - Johnson, Calvin, Cook J
Great trade for you IMO, especially if you have another strong QB, meaning Freeman becomes your #2 QB.Give: Matt Stafford, Lance Moore, DeAngelo WilliamsGet: Demaryius Thomas, Kenny Britt, Josh FreemanThe skeleton of that trade had been offered and was sitting out there for several weeks, but the other owner was too gun-shy about Stafford. Last week's game against Seattle put his mind to rest. He added DeAngelo to his wish list as a lottery ticket, praying for a trade before the deadline tomorrow (or at least for Williams to get cut and wind up somewhere worthwhile this offseason). Also worth noting that QBs tend to command strong value on the trading block in this league, with top guys rarely changing hands unless there's a top 10 RB or WR involved.

I don't think Shorts sees the starting lineup too much on good FF teams. If looking to sell Barkley, I would wait until rookie hype kicks up.14 team ppr dynasty with developmental players. 6 pts per passing TD.Gave: QB Matt BarkleyGot: WR Cecil ShortsBig risk for me. Then again, I'm not really a fan of sitting on QB prospects unless I think they're really special. I like Barkley well enough, but don't really consider him an awesome can't-miss talent. Meanwhile I need another WR for now and the future. Shorts seems like a guy on the cusp of big things. With another good game or two, he will become untouchable. I think there is also some fluke risk with him, but that's the only reason why I was able to get him for this price.
Fair deal to me, would probably try to move that 1st into 2014 in the offseason. Some recent trades from different leagues. I was involved in only a couple. All 12 team ppr, start 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 1WR/RB/TE.
#1
Team A (contending) receives: Rashad Jennings
Team B (rebuilding) receives: Santonio Holmes
Not a Holmes fan, but yes please on Team B
#2
Team C (rebuilding) receives: Ballard, PIT D, 2013 3rd (mid-late)
Team D (contending) receives: CHI D (#33 overall scorer)
Fine with the move as DST could make a difference and the other pieces won't.
#2
Team E (rebuilding) receives: Weeden + 2nd (mid-late)
Team F (contending) receives: Greene
Even with Greene being frowned upon, surprised couldn't get more...
#4
Team G (contending) receives: Vick
Team E (rebuilding) receives: Bradford
Rumors of Vick's days numbered are not helping apparently.
#5 (both contenders)
Team H receives: Bowe + Tamme
Team I receives: Daniels + Randle
Bowe best player in deal by far, Daniels not as much of a difference-maker as this trade makes it look like.
#6
Team J receives: 1st (mid-late) + Meachem
Team K receives: Reggie Bush

So you dealt Spiller, a horse RB at top 6 PPG average for two injured RBs and one that can't average even 10 points per with nothing else in the backfield?Last week in a 12 team PPR, I had the 2nd lowest PPG and am 3-4. I decided to call off the dogs and play for next season.I traded: Romo, Spiller, Bowe, Manningham, Meachem, Balt DI got: Stafford, MJD, D. Murray, Alex Green, P. DT alone is worth what you gave. The guy responsible for this has just done this trade.Saughton Seahawks will giveTurner, Michael ATL RBTo Corstorphine Cowboys forIngram, Mark NOS RBYear 2013 Round 3 Draft Pick from Craigentinny ChargersYear 2014 Round 2 Draft Pick from Corstorphine CowboysI give up. Seriously. That's a fine trade for a contender but really.Did anyone ask Cowboys what he hoped to gain by this deal? Especially being 0-7.It's really not even justifiable imo. Greene is the same age as Peterson and nowhere near the same ballpark from a talent or production perspective. Brown has really failed to establish himself as a true feature back, with this being his best season ever and not that all impressive. I think the odds are better than average that neither will be a feature back next season. The rest of the package is a crapshoot. It doesn't even look like they tried to make it look close here.Sorry but this one fascinates me, as it seems like it should tear a league apart - especially based on the fact that these two owners are the only ones that know eachother outside of the league. The reaction wasn't great. This isn't the first lopsided multi player for one stud type deal between these two teams. The two guys know each other (no other league members know each other personally) and I'm beginning to suspect shenanigans.Cowboys typically makes terrible trades though and if I wasn't so concerned about the reaction I'd be looking to replace him.I'm curious what was the league's reaction to this deal? An 0-7 team trades away a top dynasty RB (even if he is 27), and gets 2 RBs that could likely not even be starting RBs next year, a marginal WR and two decent (at best) draft picks.Something just seems way off on this one.How does that trade help an 0-7 team? There's something wrong going on there, unless the Cowboys owner is just totally clueless. Not me involved. I have Moore and Britt as a wash in my rankings. Moore has a much higher floor, Britt has a much higher ceiling. Based on how the rest of our rosters stacked up, that swap was beneficial for both parties (I have lots of startable depth, he needed a quality every-week starter to replace Demaryius). Basically the trade boiled down to Stafford for Demaryius, which I obviously like (since I did it), but which honestly probably represents market value for a QB of Stafford's caliber in this league. Mostly because I don't think either of us considered Bay Bay a top5 receiver like some do.'JPeso said:DT alone is worth what you gave. Moore and britt are not close value wise, regardless of your rankings you sold short here big time. I'm not a believer in Spiller long term. He's averaged 11.2 PPG the last 5 weeks. Demarco Murray has produced over 10 points every game he's played this season and MJD all but two. So I'm not sure who you're talking about. The deal is me downgrading at two positions, but upgrading at 4. It's a clear buy low on Garcon, MJD, D. Murray, Pettigrew, Stafford...they all weren't producing/injured when I obtained them.'JPeso said:So you dealt Spiller, a horse RB at top 6 PPG average for two injured RBs and one that can't average even 10 points per with nothing else in the backfield?'Almas_4th_Child said:Last week in a 12 team PPR, I had the 2nd lowest PPG and am 3-4. I like the deal for you, too. MJD will be back for another 2 high end seasons. Murray's injury prone tag is faulty. Stafford is a clear upgrade. And Garcon was treated as a throw in - he's not. Murray is 1-2 O-Line pieces from being a top 5-7 RB. He missed 4 games in college, over a 4 year span in which he got crazy touches. Only missed 1 game over his final 2 seasons at OU(A 19 year old can't handle 20 BIG12 touches a game?! China Doll!). His only two injuries in the NFL were awkward contact injuries that could happen to anyone. He was landed on or rolled up on both times. It happens. Nothing chronic or reoccuring. Well done. Obviously I like the trade. I made it, didn't I? I just don't see how it's grand theft. Demaryius is pretty much market value for Stafford- the last three trades involving a top QB were Stafford for Mathews and Blackmon in the offseason, Brees for VJax and a first two years ago, and Rodgers for Turner and Smiff three years ago. Vick went for Cruz this last offseason. As I said, QBs are pricey. As for Moore... The guy's essentially been a quality wr2 in 3 of the past 4 seasons, is just 29, and Brees loves him. Perennially underrated, but he just keeps putting up starter-caliber numbers. The other guy specifically added Moore for Britt because he wanted someone he could count on as a starter to replace Bay Bay. QB values are all over the map from league to league, and maybe in some leagues that'd be theft, but in mine it's just the cost of doing business. Now, speaking of theft- immediately after that deal went through, the Peterson owner offered him to me for Freeman, Dwyer, and a 2013 first (top 3). He's stacked at RB, desperate at QB (and, as you've seen, QBs are hard to come by), and really getting old throughout the roster... But I don't think there's any context one could give that would make that anything other than theft.LOL.......Love the lengthy explanation but at today's value that deal is grand theft and you know it.
