Dont like it at all unless you know that 2014 1st will be pretty high. Tamme is worthless to me

I think calling worthless is hyperbole. He had 50/500 in a 2 TE scheme. He is just entering his prime. I believe last years stats are his floor this season. Also keep in mind this is a 16 team league.

It's not hyperbole. I said he is worthless to "me". I personally place no value on him. Don't ask for opinions if you can't handle them.

Im torn here... Tamme is not a target of mine but he does have a mind meld with Peytie Pie and sometimes that is all you need... a lot more 3 WR 1 TE sets so the TE could be very valuable in that kind of offense... even WITH all that said I don't think he cracks the top 10 in TE this yr or if he does it will be on the back half of that (maybe #9)
In dynasty he isn't anybody that I would target but if I had him I wouldn't complain either... I think maybe it would be worth it to you to take a speculative flier on a younger physical freak type of project TE with an opportunity to possibly emerge in the next yr or 2 into something more... So not necessarily counting on production from that flier THIS yr but maybe he can turn into something for next yr or the yr after if you have the roster space.
Some of the younger players that I would expect could see a boom in value in the next 2 yrs and SEEM to have the physical tools to turn into something nice would be guys like...
Adrien Robinson (NYG)... missing time for graduation last yr really put him behind the 8 ball and he was never able to crack the lineup... Even with Myers signing there I see the potential for him to become THEIR guy in the next yr or 2... also the GM keeps calling him the JPP of tight ends and he does have Eli Manning as his QB
Travis Kelce (KC)... love his ability and they are expecting him to push to start this yr... rookie WRs are speculative at best but hey at least he may start
Gavin Escobar (DAL)... I think Jerry Jones is an idiot but that idiot drafted Escobar in the 2nd rd and he will push puppet Garrett to use him in 2 TE sets with Witten... Opportunity is there and he has Romo which could be a detriment or a positive (not sure yet)
Eiffert (CIN) & Ertz (PHI)... draft position will dictate playing time most likely and I gotta be honest I think Philly is going to be intriguing... Both of these rookie TEs will probably be more difficult to get than the guys listed above them on this list
James Casey (PHI)... speaking of intriguing I believe Casey is exactly that... criminally underused in Houston he could be a nice sleeper if they really give him a shot to see what he can do like he claims they said they would when they signed him on the first day of free agency
Evan Rodriguez (CHI)... I realize they have a lot invested in the black unicorn Marty Benn but Rodriguez caught my interest before he was switched to FB last yr before the season started... now with a new coach that has shown a propensity to use athletic tweeners in his CFL offenses (looking at the statistics anyway) I feel Rodriguez MAY be able to provide some versatility so I would at least keep my eye out for news coming out of the camps
as a Tamme owner I would recommend one or both of either Virgil Green or Julius Thomas as his eventual replacement if you believe they are worth it.
to sum up I don't think Tamme is worthless but I wouldn't plan on him ever being better than he has shown he can be so far in that offense so plan accordingly
