2013 Off Season Dynasty Trade Thread (for completed trades) (4 Viewers)

14 Team = NO PPR

See what thoughts are on this one I just made

Gave: Nicks

Got: Hopkins, Pierce, 2014 1st (middle of the pack)
love this for you.

Hopkins is a mid-1st and Pierce a high 2nd rookie pick value.

So 2 mid 1st and a high 2nd for an always nicked up Nicks seems like really really good value for you.
I like it too, and I'm a Nicks fan. If I'm contending this year and Nicks could be key I may hold off,but otherwise I take the young guys and the pick easily.
Feel good about even though I am a contender ..I am sure I will make another deal to acquire another wr but for now am starting Stafford, TRich, McCoy, Miller (might get DMurray for him) Wayne and Cook.......just got really frustrated with Nicks always banged up so time for him to go

Ingram & 4.01

for

Quick

2014 2nd (mid)

2015 1st (likely early)
I think it's hard to say what a 2014 pick will be...but you have to gage that somewhat....but to say that a 2015 1st will be early is pretty hard to predict...a lot can happen to a teams make up in two years....I am a buyer of Ingram so I like the side getting Ingram....it's a crap shoot what that 2015 1st will be
I'd rather have any 1st than Ingram.
Why?
Because a future 1st has a better chance to become something than Ingram, especially if it ends up a top 5 pick.
This is part of it but the other part is that I don't see Ingram being anything more than a RB2 while he's with the Saints and I feel like I could get a similar talent with a random 1st.

Another Harvin trade:

Team A gave Harvin

Team B gave Mark Ingram
-1ppr?
I need to change my Sig again.

I wouldn't even do this in a redraft league.
FWIW I was the one getting Harvin in this one. I even let the offer sit for a day to give him a chance to change his mind. Having owned Harvin in a few leagues I will agree that he is slightly over-valued but the guy does produce when healthy.

Team A gives: shonne green

Two 1st round picks 2014

4th round pick 2015

Team B gives: Shane vereen

3rd round pick 2014

4th round pick 2015

2nd round pick 2015

Team A gives: shonne green

Two 1st round picks 2014

4th round pick 2015

Team B gives: Shane vereen

3rd round pick 2014

4th round pick 2015

2nd round pick 2015
I have seen an upward trend in Vereen and his ADP lately, but this looks like the hype train is getting ready to leave the station

Just happened in one of my leagues, 12 team PPR (not involved):

Team A got: Cordarrelle Patterson

Team B got: Mike Wallace, 2014 2nd (devy weakened, so really a 3rd)

12 team ppr qrrwwwt.

Traded Justin Hunter, Kendall Wright, Travis Kelce, 2015 2nd for Percy Harvin, Nick Toon

Team A gave up:

Gabbert, Blaine JAC QB

Spiller, C.J. BUF RB

Year 2013 Draft Pick 1.06

Year 2014 Round 2 Draft Pick from Team A

Team B gave up:

Roethlisberger, Ben PIT QB

Wilson, David NYG RB

Decker, Eric DEN WR

Year 2013 Draft Pick 1.03

Year 2014 Round 1 Draft Pick from Team B

Notes:

1. 10 team Super Flex non-PPR league.

2. Team B has not won a title in the 3 year history of this league, but has put himself in position to start the following lineup this year: RGIII, Kaepernick, A. Foster, R. Rice, C.J. Spiller, A.J. Green, B. Marshall, Olsen. He also has Steven Jackson backing up these guys. Meanwhile, Team A is probably the 5th best team or so. This might help to frame the 2014 draft pick swap.

12 team QRRWWWTKF(RWT)

Team A gave: Kenny Britt, Mike Williams, Greg Little, 3.11 (Chris Harper)

Team B gave: Hakeem Nicks, Josh Morgan

Team A finished 2nd in the league last season.

Team B finished with the 2nd worst record last season.

I'm team B here. Hoping I could get wr2 production out of MW, and figured getting some depth for Nicks and gambling on Britt was well worth it.

My core:

Romo

Trich, Lamar Miller, Vereen, Lacy, Ingram

Crabtree, DBowe, Britt, Patterson, Mike Williams, VB, Mike Floyd, Woods, Little

Jimmy, Fleener

Fwiw we almost had a deal that he revoked pretty quickly that was

Jimmy Graham, Nicks, Crabtree

For

Demaryius Thomas, Britt, Reuben Randle, Jonathan Stewart, VD, 3.11

-----

In another league same settings accept for 2WR and a dst

I gave: 3.08

I received: '14 2nd.

Think it'll be an early to mid 2nd

10 team dynasty

Combination scoring

Gave Andre Johnson.

Given. Lamar Miller

I had a for sure deal and traded away for a come bet. Crazy?

Standard 12 team PPR

DeAngelo Williams and a 2014 1st (prolly late)

for

Rashard Mendenhall and a 2014 3rd (early/mid)
I guess the age difference may warrant the pick swap - but from a production standpoint the team getting Williams may end up cleaning up on this one.
I'm the one getting Mendenhall (even though I'm no fan of him at all), so grain of salt and stuff, but:

Even if Stewart ends up out for the year DeAngelo still loses 3rd down to Tolbert and goal-line to both Cam and Tolbert. Mendenhall is average at best, IMO, but he seems like a much safer bet to get significant touches.

That's all true and I should have stressed the "may" more -

I'm just starting to think that Stewart may not fully recover this season and Williams has a good track record of performaning in his absense (despite some of the points you've made).

I also don't like that Mendy's knee is already acting up, and that in turnhe's allowing Taylor to start getting some notice. There's some downside to owning Mendy now imo.

It was more just interesting to me about the pick swap - not an egreciously poor trade or anything. It's very likely that you'll end up getting the better end this season, just that I can see things turning the other way as we get closer to the season.

I understand Williams losing goal line look, but why on earth would you think he wouldn't be in on 3rd downs?

12 team PPR

Gave: Matt Forte, Pierre Garçon and Aaron Dobson

Got: AJ Green, Danny Amendola

Thought this was decently cheap for AJ, though I am higher on all 3 of the guys I gave up than most seem to be and own those 3 in a lot of leagues.

These AJ Green trades keep popping up that have me shaking my head. A disproportionate number of them. Makes me wonder if there is a site or expert out there cautioning to sell or something.

Not sure. The other owner sent me a couple decent offers that I turned down before countering with the above.

Perhaps the injury has people just a little scared. Or maybe the possibility that Eifert and Bernard will cut into his targets a little bit. Or people are worried about Dalton never taking that next step.

He's super talented and the offense is built around him. So if healthy I think he is a lock for 90, 1300 and 9. With a realistic chance of more.

However, I think there is also a good chance he never puts up ridiculous numbers like Calvin and Marshall last year. Unlike the Lions last year, the Bengals have a very strong D and like to run the ball. Unlike Chicago last year, there are plenty of other weapons. I just don't see him as a 200 target guy like some other top WRs, so his upside is maybe a little lower than what some seem to think.

Team A trades: Brandon Marshall, 2014 2nd

Team B trades: Giovanni Bernard, Pierre Garcon, 2014 1st (likely bottom 3)

same Team A trades: T.Y. Hilton, Brandon Myers, Brandon Weedon

Team C trades: Josh Freeman, Stephen Hill, Bilal Powell

If we want to call Amendola for Garcon a wash - the deal is Forte and Dobson for Green, which I'd say is "decently cheap". I think Forte should have a nice season, but he's not an elite RB and is starting to creep towards the age of irrelevancy for RBs.

Was really on the fence about this trade but just accepted. 12 team PPR dynasty league

I gave: Stephin Hill, 2nd in 2014

I got: Ivory, Goodson

Felt I needed RB depth more than having Hill for depth. Just wish Ivory was healthy. Roster below:

RG3, Vick, Geno Smith

Morris, Wilson, Ivory, DeAngelo, Helu, Goodson

Fitz, Nelson, Garcon, Tavon Austin, Jeffery, D. Moore, Mike Williams, Da'Rick Rodgers

Cook, Olsen, D. Allen

Someone tell me that wasn't too stupid of me

Well I am going to offer him up to my league plus a WR for a RB upgrade. May sound funny, but I really like watching my FF players each weekend. Who wants to watch the Jets play?

Start: 1qb - 2rb - 3wr - 1te - 1wr/rb - 2lb - 1dl - 1db - 1k

12 teamer .5ppr - 6pt TD -

traded : denarius moore

got : knile davis

logic was that I have a metric buttload of wide receivers and i needed to reach out to teams that were wr needy. I have rostered ten WRs at this point. That number will be cut down as the season goes on and people begin to open up about getting some of these guys. I am 95% content with my runningback situation and any improvent @ runningback will come at a significant cost to me. The only one I can move without feeling like I took a punch to the gut would be Murray, but hes still a servicable back when available.

I'm desperate to upgrade my tight end situation now that Pitta is out. I tried to order the players below from most to least important to me. Teams have been asking about Brown and I think that the best tight end I can get for Brown would be Gresham who I am not high on. Instead of giving up Brown (who is my contingency plan against Hakeem Nicks injury woes) I'd rather give up Wright on a lottery ticket type of guy. Just due to the scarity of quality at that position, I decided that I'm going to roll with a combo of Rudolph and whomever else is hot. I'm banking on Adrien Robinson to be my guy in the future. I've been offerred a Kelce for Ertz swap. Does anyone have thoughts there?

Roster

QB| C.Newton / R.Tannehill / E.J Manuel

RB| J.Charles / D.Murray /D.Wilson/ G.Bernard/ R.Hillman/ K.Davis/ A.Ellington

WR| D.Bryant / J.Jones/ H.Nicks/ V.Brown/ A.Dobson/ K.Wright/ J.Blackmon/ C.Givens/ K.Allen/ D.Rogers

TE| K. Rudolph/ D.Pitta/ A.Robinson/ Z.Ertz

LB| P.Posluszny/ A.Ogletree/ M.Te'o

DB| H.Smith/ K.Vaccaro

DL| J.Pierre-Paul/ C.Jordan

Worth it for the handcuff IMO when you can start 3 RB. Although you'd like at least one piece of positive news on Davis before buying him ATM.

There has been some positive news coming out of camp so far, but still needs to work on drops/fumbles, apparently he had a good practice today. It isn't a game, but I've heard him break off nice runs so far in camp and have heard some good things here and there with Knile. Still not expecting a whole lot this season.

I agree with the shark pool's sentiment. Under normal circumstances, that isn't a trade I'd make. Having 11 wide receivers at this time though, I feel, buys me a little bit of credit. I do want to be able to control that backfield permanently. Historically, there has been some great ppr production out of runningbacks from the eagles

12 team, PPR w/ flex.

Draft day trades:

  • Team A gave up Stewart, Jonathan CAR RB; Year 2013 Draft Pick 3.08;Year 2013 Draft Pick 5.12
  • Team B gave up Year 2013 Draft Pick 1.09;Year 2013 Draft Pick 2.09
1.09 was used on Lattimore

  • Team D gave up Cobb, Randall GBP WR
  • Team E gave up Year 2013 Draft Pick 1.05;Year 2013 Draft Pick 1.10
1.05 = Montee Ball

1.10 = Robert Woods

Love the picks side for J-Stew.

I think someone got ripped off trading away Witten.

Someone sold Cobb cheap (regardless of where you stand on the guy, this is lower than current asking prices for PPR).

Pitta by a mile as I have zero confidence Alexander can stay healthy.
Pretty ironic...
Let's call it a draw...
