It would have been about a million times better if Luke Scott came outDale Scott scooped all of the teen Twitter reporters on the story of Dale Scott coming out (to the general public) as gay.

You're not very bright, Maybe try reading again slowly?Seems like you're trying to communicate something.Wasting your time, IMO. I'm waiting for official confirmation of this from the Chicago Cubs PR staff and will not comment further until Dave Cameron tells me whether this is a good move or not.Cubs offer is now up to 6/138 for Lester.

P.S. - Thanks for not naming who reported that, because I don't give a ####.

I don't think any real baseball player is close to Kenny Powers, but he's probably one of the closest.Eephus said:It would have been about a million times better if Luke Scott came outGood Posting Judge said:Dale Scott scooped all of the teen Twitter reporters on the story of Dale Scott coming out (to the general public) as gay.

Don't forget about Gus SchlosserMedlen and Beachy both non-tendered by ATL.
Won't believe it until I know who reported it first.Medlen and Beachy both non-tendered by ATL.
wow gotta think alot of teams will be all over them, no?Medlen and Beachy both non-tendered by ATL.
Perhaps. I doubt the Braves would have non-tendered them if they felt they were on the brink of producing at previous levels... so there's that.wow gotta think alot of teams will be all over them, no?Medlen and Beachy both non-tendered by ATL.

Apparently it's that damn kid again.Chatter about Lester to the Cubs ramping up this morning on twitter. Nothing confirmed at this point, but there's a lot of smoke.

Given the success rate from TJ surgery, this deal probably isn't too bad. Hochevar had settled in as being a pretty good reliever in 2013, if he comes back to around those levels, it's probably a win.Eephus said:The Royals resigned Luke Hochevar for 2/$10M. I think the Braves might have goofed here. There isn't any real evidence that it's tougher to come back from two than one, betting on a talented pitcher for a year and reasonable money coming off a TJ doesn't seem like a terrible move.
Holland should be dealt at the meetings.Eephus said:The Royals resigned Luke Hochevar for 2/$10M. He had TJ surgery the same month as Beachy and Medlen.

The Atlanta Braves and the case of the curious off-season sounds like a job for Encyclopedia Brown. The Braves' curious off-season continues with the signing of Jim Johnson to a major league deal. I guess the price is right at 1/$1.6M but it takes up a slot on the 40 man.
Would be good for Moss right?I don't know how much there is to the Moss-to-Cleveland rumors, but Jose Ramirez seems like a logical target.
seems like the right deal for him. Hes one of those guys that is a better ballplayer that numbers guy. But again another injury prone player.Wow didnt realize Markakis played almost 160 games every year except one. Scratch that last comment. Wtf am i thinking of?Braves sign Markakis for 4/44: http://sports.yahoo.com/news/sources--nick-markakis-agrees-to-four-year-deal-with-braves-011916120.html
for JA Happ? Good move by the JaysAdd Michael Saunders to the Jays outfield. I'll be a sucker for this move come draft day.

yeah i have no clue why i thought that. Either thinking of someone else or just equated many years of being a fantasy disappointment to him getting hurt. Fantasy-wise? I suppose. Going from a pitcher's park to a neutral park is going to help. A lot's going to depend on how he recovers from his hip, I suppose.Would be good for Moss right?I don't know how much there is to the Moss-to-Cleveland rumors, but Jose Ramirez seems like a logical target.
why? 11mil for a good obp guy who plays defense, has a good arm seems reasonable to me. Similar to the brett gardner extension. And he plays EVERY day lolThat Markakis deal is abysmal.
The correct answer was 'Your face is abysmal'.why? 11mil for a good obp guy who plays defense, has a good arm seems reasonable to me. Similar to the brett gardner extension. And he plays EVERY day lolThat Markakis deal is abysmal.
