2014 Interboard Challenge League (1 Viewer)

I thought I was going to walk away 5-2 on the week, and ended up 3-4 after Monday night games (ran into Lynch and D-Jax).

I loved my RB depth three weeks back, but with CJ?K, Bush and Jennings (now out), I am in trouble. Really hesitated packaging a Benjamin with a Jennings for a RB upgrade (as I would lose some depth), but I may pay for that.

1/2 through the season, lots of FA opportunities out there to improve your team.

QB

Cousins - 6th overall in the league based on ppg. Massive over reaction last week. Had a solid week versus a good D this week. 2 copies left.

Brady - Maybe a reach, but another bounce back candidate.

Davis - 2 consecutive 20+ pt weeks. Might be chasing points here.

RB

Second fiddles performing well Rainey RB15 and A. Smith RB23 and Helu RB29. Now on to some potential difference makers.

Oliver - 7 copies left but not for long after 34 pts last week.

Williams - two consecutive double digit weeks with 2 copies left.

Stewart - forgive me for suggesting this.

Hillman/Anderson - between the two there are 14 copies out there.

WR

Duckboy - might want to cut Thompkins

Nothing too exciting but the following guys have back to back double digit weeks. Floyd, Cooper, Brit, Murphy. Travis Benjamin is available in mass if you think last week was a sign of things to come.

TE

Wright - Risky selection the way the Pats move the targets around but definite upside potential. 8 copies available

Rudolph - Hopefully someone can chime in here with some news, but maybe a late week play.

K

Probably the reason why you shouldn't draft one early in this league, several of the kickers in the top ten are available. Dawson and Haushka are decent kickers with their byes in the rear view. Personally I like pairing my kicker with my QB to smooth out some of the scoring when TD passes are replaced by FGs.

D

Total crapshoot. Green Bay basically doubles their ytd production last week to move into the top ten. Carolina and New England are out.
good #### here......

Dawson has week 8 bye

I honestly don't see the problem. Forsett has been a top 4 back over the last three weeks.

If I'm you, I trot out Stafford, Bush/Forsett, Jones, Jeffrey, Sanders, Benjamin, Bennett every week and feel very good about it.

saw duckboy sitting at 9 wins and just went in to take a look at his roster thinking we could collectivley throw some #### out there to see if it could help him, but his team really isnt that bad

Newton

Spiller

Harvin

BMarshall

ESanders

Steve Smith

Welker

Gronk

Tucker

SD/SEA

has CJnoK and DMC so his backs are hurting but if he just goes 1 RB, kinda hard to figure out how he only has 9 wins....

with his high waiver pick he should be able to jump on an Oliver.....Williams....Hillman

Cousins/Brady might be a good add here too.....

There's hope that Carolina will finally turn Newton lose. Cousins wouldn't be a bad option as a backup. Newton's schedule is brutal the next 3 weeks.

If I were Duckboy, I would be cutting Michael immediately and probably CJ2k. As you stated, Oliver should be his this week.

Thompkins obviously shouldn't be rostered.

If Marshall gets back up to speed and Welker starts getting an occasional TD, Duckboy will zoom up the standings.

quick glance at whats available today at 11:00am est for those interested....

one copy of Rueben Randle

two copies of Knile Davis

you will probably have to submit within seconds after 11:00am to get either of them....they both sit as #1 available at their respective positions and there are some guys that sit around waiting that are very fast with the fingers....

we will probably be trying to snag both...but if we lose out, it would be nice to lose out to a fellow FBG if you need one of these guys...

personally as a KC fan, I think Davis is a great stash if you have the room....IMO it's not a matter of will Charles get dinged again, it's when.....and either way, I have heard some rumblings that Davis may get more touches (as well as Charles, as Reid sometimes forgets he has them) and Davis could even have some stand alone value some weeks....

:2cents:

the guy that dropped Randle....did so for Riley Cooper....I found that somewhat confusing as he has guys like Kerley, Turbin, Trich, MJD etc on his roster.....maybe he knows something we don't....

guys dropping Davis did so to make room for Hillman and Williams, and neither owned Charles.....so there will/should be some Charles owners chomping at the bit to snag Davis......if nothing else, keep away comes into play here...

nice trade by broncos....

nice waiver wire work by duckboy.....

ref on full tilt being one of the first to the party in snagging Storm ####### Johnson baby.....next weeks Oliver....take it to the bank brohans...

I liked my trade and was a little surprised it was accepted.

Rudolph should be back from his injury within a week or two and see him as outperforming Gates over the remainder of the season.

I see Ridley as definitive upgrade over Shonn Greene.

For FBG

Luck x 0

Foster x 2

Hilton x 2

Johnson x 0 (only 7 copies started)

Unfortunately a lot of those guys started against us.

Way to bnring me down. Started Foster in 4 or 5 leagues and was happy about it

After starting with Foster (29), Dem. Thomas (28), and Wallace (18), really thought I was going to have another top score type week. Harvin has really been a disappointment to this point in the season- might have to start leaving him on the bench until I see him actually, you know, score.

At 129.52 with my kicker left. Haven't checked, but a score like that should net at least 3 or 4 wins.

Looks like I will go 6-1 this week with a shot at 7-0 if Kaepernick and the 49ers D put up 40 more points.

Sitting at exactly 123...not sure how I got there as only one of my positional players got a TD...DET def netting 21 points helped a good deal.

At 3-1-3 so far...Likely will lose one more if Dawson gets five points, and I am +7 and +21 on Gore, so I will likely lose another one of those at least...I would take 4-3 at this point.

Fitz finally showed some signs of life. When is the trade deadline?

Scored 118. Should go 2-5 on the week. Going to fall out of the championship tier.

Scored a solid 137, which is normally good for 5 wins.

HOWEVER, faced a murderers row of opponents who scored, 151, 154, 180, and 179 to hand me 4 losses. 137 should have been good for more than 3 wins :(

copied this from a post at IBL

The craziest thing about the standings....

Rank Team Record GB Week Win% PF
1 HUD 266-238-0 -- 51-33-0 0.528 53918
2 FFT 263-241-0 3 46-38-0 0.522 60054
3 FBG 261-243-0 5 45-39-0 0.518 61208
4 GURU 251-253-0 15 39-45-0 0.498 59627
5 DFW 249-255-0 17 42-42-0 0.494 59023

8 FFLW 238-266-0 28 21-63-0 0.472 58198

The #1 board is #8 in points scored, yep this is one crazy year, well done Huddle! 53918 (HUD)

60054

61208 (FBG)

59627

59023

58623

58983

58198

we have scored the most points

we have outscored the next highest team by 1,154 points

we have outscored the league leader (Huddle) by 7,290 points

High Fives all around. I'm pretty stoked I was able to land Cutler for Greg Jennings so QB is secure. Need to find another WR and maybe a RB now.

Can you believe someone dropped Witten? Unfortunately someone beat us to the trigger. Did manage to get Sankey in free agency today.

Going to be tough picking between Cobb, Hilton, Welker, Baldwin, Harvin, and Bowe every week.

Got 4 wins locked in.

5 if Bell doesn't top 27

6 if Brown doesn't to 28

7 if Sushim and Houston don't combine for 25.

Ruds 5th

Bron1cos 8th

Gringo 11th

Ref 15th

31st worst is btswb and he still has BigBen

We have the 35th and 36th worst spots, but that bodes well for a nice week.

FBG definitely looking at a winning recording this week and potentially a very good week if the schedule broke right.

ARGH! Sub-100 week gives me 0-6-1, thanks to a bagel from Travis Benjamin. If not for that, I could have been 3-3-1. And the one undecided has my opponent needing 19+ to pull off the win

from Andre Johnson tonight.

Sorry guys...0-5-2 and not looking good

Two undecided:

+26 with Bell and Brown to go (likely will lose)

+5 with Hopkins to go (will lose that too)

I will likely walk away 0-7 on the week.

4-1-2 with a below average scoring week. 2 undecideds are ABrown under 14 (doubt it) and Hopkins under 14 (maybe).

97 right now with Foster to go tonight. Impossible to really predict where I'll end up. Four of my opponents are done with scores of 130, 111, 132, 134, and 124. One opponents has Foster and Heath Miller going sitting at 91 right now. Another opponent sits at 92 with Bell going tonight.

Average nights from Foster, Bell (20ish), and Heath Miller (8ish) likely gets me to 3-4 with 2-5 more likely than 4 or more wins.

Ended up 2-5 with a score that was in the top half (barely). Not the first time I've had a bad week with a not so bad score. :(

Got 4 wins locked in.

5 if Bell doesn't top 27

6 if Brown doesn't to 28

7 if Sushim and Houston don't combine for 25.
Squeaked by with 7 ins this week.

Bell was one yard short from handing us a loss for victory 6.

Victory 7 came on the instant play review over turning Browns TD. If that had count we lose by one point.

LOL - if the link is correct we're now in a three way tie for first. Obviously we've had some bad luck as we're running away with the points competition.

I think I've been at the head of the bad luck list. I've outscored every single team below me, and half of the teams above me. Seems like the luck has started to turn for the team, hopefully it starts to turn for me soon too.

took a quick....very quick look....at the free agents and man it is ugly....I think we have hit the wall here in IBL and things have pretty much settled in.....hopefully your team is built for the long haul at this point cause there aren't many fixes on the WW...

RG3 is out there if you want to take a shot

Tre Mason at RB but he will go quickly

I guess if you want to try and figure out what will happen in BUF you can make a run at Dixon/Brown, but personally we will probably just stay away

nothing at WR looks like it will really save your season

TE....meh....but now is probably the time to get Rudoplh if you need help at TE down the stretch

PK: Parkey may be worth the pickup if you need an upgrade

DST....meh

which leads me to trades.....bunch of guys out there looking to deal right now, probably because of the above.....so if you have some depth you can part with, it might be a good time to sniff around and take a look at some of the things people are looking for out there....you may be able to upgrade your flex spot with your backup QB or something......broncos was able to pull off what I thought at the time was a pretty good trade in his favor.....there may be a few owners out there you can squeeze a little more out of than what you think.....while our record may not indicate it (being in a 3 way tie for first) we are dominating this mutha from a total points point of view.....the schedule hasn't done us any favors, but maybe that will swing in the other direction the second half....

Just a reminder for next year when we start thinking about drafting Bowe in rounds 5-7, he'll end up on the waiver wire later in the year.

first....quit dogging on my chiefs

second.....he has 4 less total points than your top 5 talent/potential boy and stone cold lock of the year Harvin who went waaay earlier than Bowe......

Just pointing out that he's been waived twice already this year.

This could be the week we need.

FBG own 4 of the 8 Sanders - excellent

FBG own 2 of the 8 Gates - excellent

FBG own 2 of the 8 D. Thomas, decent week - good

FBG own 3 of the 8 Welkers and 2 of them benched him. Me and 2 others started him.

FBG own 2 of the 8 Mannings - good

FBG own 0 of the 6 started Rivers - good

We own zero of the 7 started Allens which was the only place we lagged. - excellent

We own zero of the 8 started J. Thomas.

Basically 12.5% would be a push on the good/excellent starts. We captured 6 of 23 or 26.1% of the excellent starts. We captured 4 of the 22 good starts or 18.2%.

Of the busts we caught 1 of 11 starts.

2 Floyds at 9.8 were started.

2 Royals at 5.9 were started.

We avoided all that junk and if you included that in the junk it's 1 of 15 for 6.7%

Bottom line team FBG is primed for a big week. You guys who killed it on Sanders need to error on the conservative side. Average production from here on out will get you5-6 wins.

No donuts going forward. Hopefully everyone has a buddy backing them up in case of late scratches. Probably would be a good time for everyone to revisit who their buddy is and if the have their password to make changes.

It is nice when you are up 40 points after one guy goes. Sanders is my WR4, so I hope the rest of my players at least show up, and I should have a good week. Good point by BnB about playing it conservative. I have my most consistent RB locked in at Forsett, and Jeffrey, Julio and Benjamin in as my normal starting three WRs. Was going to roll the dice with Donnell at TE, but I am going to stick to Bennett. I have a lot of ground to make up after going 0-7 last week, but if I go 6-1 this week, I should be able to get back into the Champions tier.

Note to Sinrman or his back up buddy, Bush is out.

eta - Green is doubtful

Son of a... couldn't get to the computer in time. FYI, to ANYONE -- my password I believe is the same. I don't think I ever changed it, so feel free to log in if you see that prior to a game.
