2014 Interboard Challenge League (2 Viewers)

156 on the day, and I will likely walk away 5-2...I could stomach one loss, but two seems a bit much.

Feel my pain! Been suffering like that all year.

178.64 this week- not sure if any of my opponents have a prayer. :)

Afternoon and evening games weren't kind to us but still shaping up nicely.

Rene 4th

Sweet Love 12th

Stinkin Ref 18th

Gringo 19th plus Witten

Valence 21st plus Dez

Duckboy 28th plus Dallas D

Bro1ncos 34th

btswb 44th

Clash 45th

Rudnicki 48th

Sinrman 51st plus DJax

Old Mil is the only team at the back of the pack and he's got guys left.

Ref's games are already decided with us going 6-1 on the week. Cobb getting shutout in the second half cost us a loss by one point. Can't complain because that's what 18th or lower should net you. Hopefully the rest of you are having good weeks.

Looking at another 5-2 week.

Looking for suggestions for a WW QB to pick up to cover Rodgers bye week.

Need 3 points from Dallas D to go 5-2 (also assuming Niles Paul doesn't get 33 pts). Outside chance of 6-1 is Dez does nothing and Dallas D goes off.

Despite my mistake in not taking out Bush and subbing #######' Clay in for injured AJ Green and getting 1 point, I'm on target for 3-0-4 so far. One of the undecided I'm up about 58 points with DeSean still to go. My opponent has Reed, Romo, and Bryant. Two of the undecideds I just need about 7.3 points from DeSean to win. And the last one is super tight. I'm down less than 1 point with DeSean and my opponent has Terrence Williams. So I could go anywhere from 3-4 to 7-0. But looking really good for me.

Dalton but he likely won't last.

Vick is a decent option in this format. He did crap this week and still had 13 pts. 7 iteration of him available so he should be around.

We should be taking control this week. We have 7 of the top 28 scores, and only one guy in the botom 35. At LEAST 50 wins, and could push for 60 I would think.

I finally got 7 wins on a good score

Ruds - 3

Valence - 6

btswb - 2

Duckboy - 5

Sweet Love - 5

Clash - 2

Gringo - 5

Sinrman - 7

Rene - 7

OldMil - 0

StinkinRef - 6

Bro1ncos - 4

52 wins, 32 losses

Great week gents.

Huddle had 7 teams in the bottom 28, FFT 4 in the bottom 29. We should move up in the standings.

Ruds, Valence, Ref should stay in the top tier with Bro1ncos on the fence.

Rene should move into the top tier with Gringo on the fence.

Any thoughts on guys to target?
QB - Dalton. Then vick for this week, otherwise Orton

RB - Reddick is a must add for any Bell / Bush owners. Jonas Gray but probably not a difference maker. I'd look to add Turbin if you've got room in case Lynch gets hurt.

WR - Moncrief for Indy is a must add. For guys like Sinrman dealing with injuries, Cooper should be a great fill in (not sure why he's hung out there). There goes John Brown again but he's probably not startable. Him and Wheaton are desperation adds but could produce with the right injury.

TE - Wright for any Gronk owners. Not sure why he's not on our roster. Gresham for owners thinking about week 10.

D - KC playing the Jets this week. Wash dialing up the blitzes. Bills would be a good long term add.

With 16 of 32 teams off over the next 3 weeks, things will get fast and furious Thursday at 11am.

Need you to carry a brother one more week!

as i mentioned in an earlier post heading into last week......things have kind of settled in and there really ain't #### on the ww.....I dropped Tim Wright last week after you picked him up for us and added Griffin....it was announced that Griffin will regain the starting spot when he is healthy, and to me that carried more value then carrying a guy like Wright.....let's say Griffin comes back a different dude and starts creeping into startable territory with all those weapons......"keep away" factored into my thinking a little....at least one version is on our bench instead of helping somebody else who might be in a tight QB spot and need Griffin.....and .what if Wilson or Kap gets hurt or both.....I'd hate to enter the playofffs with Fitzpatrick pulling the trigger.....there are a ton of Wright's available and yeah I know it will be impossible to get him in waivers after a Gronk injury......but my thought is snag a TE to cover Gronk's bye (10) hope Gronk makes it through this week and then drop whatever TE we pick up and snag Wright for the handcuff for the playoff run...I thought there was a better use of that roster spot until after Gronk's bye.....

just my thoughts.....rolling the dice Gronk makes it through this week.....

Looking into moving Gio. He is started to get dinged and I don't trust him down the stretch.

I have a couple deals in line but none blow me away.

Give:

Gio and Stedman Bailey

Get:

Justin Forsett and Stevie Johnson

Or give same and get Denard Robinson and Justin Hunter.

Or

Give:

Gio and Edelman

Get:

Bradshaw and Shorts or Hawkins

I should get Rashad Jennings soon so that should help if whoever I roll with.

I hop all over getting a top caliber talent for marginal starters. Huge downgrade for you.

Yea. I have rejected all of them. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something.

So a guy has Bradshaw on the block and mentioned he is looking for a WR2. I have Julio, Alshon, Benjamin, Sanders and Fitz as WR. I have Forsett, CJK, Jennings, Bush, Crowell and DWill as RB and obviously could use help. He said he would package in a Sanu, so I was thinking of offering this:

Jeffrey/CJK for Bradshaw/Sanu - I think Jeffrey still has name recognition, but technically, he is my WR4 right now. I just don't love the idea because then I am only four deep at WR.

only have to start one RB......I don't like getting rid of jeffrey....imo I think you can keep your head above water at RB with Jennings/Forsett and pull away each week at WR....I think Jeffrey and CHI get it figured out.....CJNO2k may be worth dropping and adding a guy with higher upside

Bowe and SEA DST out there if anybody is in need....

scratch that SEA gonzo

152 point day it looks like. Likely will be a 5-2 or 6-1 week. Unfortunately I ran across the top guy this week who is at 156 and counting (Hilton still to go tomorrow night). :(

123 and done. Foles leaving early hurt a bit and I'll need to find a QB. Kicker and DST were weak but the rest of the team was fine. On a heavy bye week that should be worth 4 wins give or take one.

Hopefully I'm not too low on the waiver list to nab Sanchez.

Looks like a good week.

4th Stinkin Ref (FBG) (154.86 pts) 7-0

5th Sinrman (FBG) (152.52 pts) 5 wins, maybe 6
6th Clash of the Titans (FBG) (149.52 pts) 5 wins, maybe 6

13th By The Sea Wannabe (FBG) (133.80 pts) 3 wins, maybe 6-7

14th Sweet Love (FBG) (129.42 pts) 5 wins, maybe 6-7

19th ReneSauz (FBG) (122.56 pts) I see 4 wins with potential for another

23rd Gringo (FBG) (119.12 pts) 3 wins with potential for 6

24th Bro1ncos (FBG) (118.60 pts) at least 4 wins

Duckboy will have 2 wins

Valence looking at 2-3 wins

Ruds looking at 4 wins

Old Mil will likely take the donut

44 wins should be a lock. Good shot at 50.

Hoping to get that 6-7 win mark to make up for a bad week a couple back. Surprised, since I am playing without my starting QB, top 2 WRs, TE and even DEF.

sucks to take a zero from my TE (Tim Wright) when I had two other guys on my roster put up solid numbers (Clay, Daniels).

imo Wright is not startable and not really roster worthy unless used as a bench handcuff for gronk injury insurance.....

quite honestly I am surprised he is owned as much as he is.....classic example of people chasing points.....there may be a reason Bass and I should snag him since we have gronk, but outside of that not sure how he can be in a starting lineup....

I realize if Gronk gets hurt he would be the top waiver priority....

2 nice weeks other than that he has sucked.........none of us will be able to predict when hoodie makes him part of a gameplan....his scores are too boom/bust.....and when he busts he goes big....he don't mess around...

well, my other options were:

Rudolph - out

Daniels - game-time decision after missing last week with injury

Clay - barely practiced, has been inconsistent all year, and put up 1 catch for 1 yd last week.

Wright was projected to put up better numbers than the others by all 3 FBG projections and was coming off a 7/61/1 game.

bad result, but I don't know how anyone could have known in advance he'd be shut out completely.

hey Aaron...my comments were more in general about Wright overall....really had nothing to do with your situation, I realize you had to do what you had to do and no fault in you playing him.....

however...in 9 games he has been shutout 4 times now....and in 2 of the other 5 he only had one catch....getting shut out completely is not really far fetched and almost a 50/50 call so far....and kind of my point about the hoodie...theres no way to really know in advance so it's an "avoid" in my book....

Heck, I had Gates and Clay up until last week when I finally decided to cut Clay due to lack of production. And what does he do? Has a nice week... go figure. Now I'll need a TE to fill in for Gates' bye week, and Clay will probably be gone by the time I can get him.

If I calculated right, 57 wins this week.

Got 4 wins out of a slightly above average score.

If the above is accurate, we SHOULD start puling away from the pack here. More, it looks like we finally got a little bit of luck going our way. In previous weeks, we've put up great scores for medicore results. This week it looks like we put up more mediocre scores for great results (129 shouldn't net 7 wins, and 118 shouldn't net 5). We were overdue for a little bit of that.

Heck, 113 shouldn't put up 5 wins but I will sure take it.

FBG open a 12 game lead and have a pretty amazing 7 teams in the Championship tier currently. :hifive:

they are kind of lucky we aren't further ahead at this point......we ran into some bad luck with the schedule in the first half.....total points wise we are destroying this league......

You currently have pick number 35 in your waiver wire. Movin on up to the east side .... I believe it is the first time I haven't been in the teens or 20s.

Not sure if 7 in the championship tier is a good thing. That's 42 results where we max out at 21 wins or 84 points. I guess if we have a large enough lead it would be easier to hold.

I've thought a lot about that in previous years. The truth is that it's a gaurenteed 50% win rate when playing ourselves, which sounds like a dsiadvantage. BUT..with each win worth a half point more than the tier below, a 50% win % there is equivalent to 100% in the third tier, and about 66% in the second tier. 66% is a tough number to crack when your opponents all have winning percentages (season long) roughly equivalent to you.

In the end, it really is a huge advantage come playoff time UNLESS most of your qualifiers are at the bottom of the tier leaving the group as a whole unlikely to win at least 30-35% of the rest of their games.

Yeah, I think there is something to be said about where you reside in each tier. Last year I trickled into the top tier (with a team running on fumes) and I got rolled in the playoffs. I would have contributed much more had I slipped into the second tier and played "like" teams. This year I may also stick at the bottom of that top tier, but my team is likely top 10-12 in total points, so if karma swings more my way, I will be able to do more damage than last year.

Looks like several of us don't have TEs for this weekend. Actually some decent options on the wire.

More worried about QB, especially sitting at the end of the waiver list. Praying for Sanchez, but have Orton right now as a second choice. Might have to work a trade out there somewhere.
