At least it's not all bad news….

Duckboy will be 7-0 and out of the water boy tier.

Clash is at 3 wins, 2 loses, with two in the balance with 111 pts.

Gringo should get 4 wins.

Valence should have 5 wins.

Sweet Love will have 4 wins.

Ruds will have either 3 or 4 wins.

Thought I was in good shape, but 7 points from my QB (Stafford), really hurt. I have to start eyeballing Tannehill as a potential start each week instead of mindlessly inserting Stafford.

Stafford is the high risk/high reward QB out of your two. Tannehill is more of the "plug and play" guy who can get you maybe 225 yds and 2 TDs/week. Nothing flashy, but consistent. I'd play matchups.

Stafford has another tough start week 12.

Only one win for me this week. Everyone pooped the bed for me. Even fell out of the top tier I think, even though I still have the #7 average. If I get relegated to second tier for the playoffs, at least I should be a favorite to pick up 5 wins weekly.

Good but not great week as a team. We went 46-38, which was more than enough to maintain a solid lead.

46-38 is enough to hang on. One more week like that and we'll have a lead moving into the playoffs.

I have to think 52 wins is a lock to make the champions tier, you have clinched with 54 wins. None of us have clinched. Based on 52 wins here's what we need...

Ref - in

Ruds and Valence - 1 win each

Sweet Love - 3 wins

Renesuaz - 5 wins although with his huge point total 4 wins should do it

We have three in the Veteran tier. 46 wins is a clinch which includes Gringo. 44 wins should get you into the playoffs in this tier.

Gringo - clinched Vet tier. 6 wins will move him into the Champ tier.

Bro1ncos - sits at 43 wins and a nice point total. 1 win locks up a Vet spot.

Sinrman - needs 2 wins to lock up a Vet spot.

A big week for some of our teams moves everyone out of the water boy tier into the rookie tier. This will be huge for the playoffs and accumulating points. 36 wins should be enough to avoid the cellar.

btsw - one game back back of the vet tier. maybe a shot at moving up with 5-6 wins and help. rookie tier is worse case.

Duckboy and Clash - both have a 2 game cushion. 4 and 3 should maintain their placement.

Old Mil - 1 game cushion but 4 and 3 should be good enough.

maybe a good time for some roster spring cleaning in November....are we carrying too many QB's, two PK's, two DST's.....do you have some dead weight that really is never gonna play......might be a good time to take a shot at some handcuffs that are still available and maybe could produce with an injury...

would any of this look better on your roster:

Gray: available but won't get to many of us

Latavius Murray: could be the man the rest of the way in OK fwiw

Randle/Dunbar: who is D. Murray's ####### back up anyway

Bryce Brown/Dixon: Brown a couple double digit weeks, he is catching the rock

Royal: still hanging aorund

Kearse: double digits last two weeks, getting snaps

Hogan: who the hell is this guy; is this a party we don't want to be late to...looks like Hogan is #2 in BUF and in that passing game Orton may have a crush on him

Kerley: see Royal

Preston Parker: hmmmmm....eli slot guy....randle+beckham=28 targets....parker 2....does that continue or look more like two weeks ago

Harry Douglas: one injury away from weeks like he had last year?

Gresham: goal line looks

Wright: blow up potential with Gronk injury?

Tucker: he's Tucker

Greg the Leg: STL looking like they may have figured some things out, but offense may continue to sputter....bomber who they will let swing away...domer

BAL: top 10-12 right now

Indy: meh

KC: raiders on thurs, they play hard for andy, haven't given up a rushing TD yet (jinx)....Thomas aint no joke on punt returns....davis on KR

STL: reminding us now, albeit late, why we drafted them pretty high this year

Hey guys...I am going to be going on a cruise without interrnets access. If someone sees something bad in my lineup, can you nudge Rene to make a fix?

SL

RENE: I am likely going to miss waivers due to this issue, so if you see something working dropping (i.e. Sturgis) for a guy like Murray, please feel free to process.

Game 1 : Harvin + 6 v. Ingram

Game 2: Harvin + 22 v. Tucker and Daniels

Game 3: Harvin - 5 v. Colston

Game 4: Harvin needs 21

Game 5: T. Smith under 25 nets win

Game 6: Win

Game 7: Harvin + 14 v. Graham

Looking like 3 or 4 wins for us.

Ruds with 6 wins

Valance good for 2 or 3 wins and will stay in the champ tier

Sweet Love has all 7 games in play but looking good for the 3 wins he needs.

All of Renesauz games are in doubt but he has Flacco Ingram harbin in play. He's up in several games where opponents have guys in play and within striking range of the 2-3 opponents that are ahead. He would have to have really bad luck not to get enough wins to make the champ tier and could go 7-0.

That should put us into the playoffs with 5 int he top tier.

Gringo isn't having a good week but had clinched a vet their spot.

Bro1ncos is having a very good week 5-6 wins won't be enough to move up a tier

Sinrman is having a huge week and should net 5-6 wins.

Looks like 3 in the vet tier.

btsw has a chance for 5-6 wins with good nights from T Smith and Forsett. He's one game back from moving up

Duckboy looking at two wins. Nail biting staying in the rookie tier

Clash has too much left to go to know what will happen. He's at 81 with Brees, Graham, and Decker to go.

Old Mil will have 2 or 3 wins. 3 would likely keep him in tier.

All said, not a bad week. Should be somewhere north of .500 this week and not lose too much ground.

Sitting at 98.3 with Flacco, INgram and Harvin to go. Could end up anywhere but more likely a good week than a bad one.

hey saw thread about you guys looking at rule changes for next year.....I think these are some things that came up at some point during the season

1. flexibility: would be nice to be able to start 3 RB's and/or 2 TE's....

2. intraboard trades after the draft is a joke.....shouldn't be allowed, but if are, should go on ADP across all drafts....if the only purpose is really just to cover PK or whatever getting cut.....it's kind of stupid.....put more of an emphasis on the draft then by not allowing people to be able to be "bailed out" by teammates....

3. stat changes: ?

Sweet Love - 7 wins champ tier

Sinrman - 5 wins vet tier

Clash - 6 wins rookie tier

btsw - 6 wins could be rookie or vet tier

Rudnicki - 6 wins champ tier

Old Mil - 4 wins on the fence leaning rookie tier

Duckboy - 3 wins on the fence leaning rookie tier

Stinkin Ref - 5 wins champ tier

Valence - 2 wins champ tier

Renesuaz - 5 wins champ tier

Gringo - 3 wins vet tier

Bro1ncos - 5 wins vet tier

57 wins if I calculate it right. Should hold our lead if not expand it.

Very good chance that we hold all all our placements and btsw moves up to leave us with 5/4/3/0 and possibly the best regular season ever.

Holy Moses.

Gringo sneaks in. 6 in the championship tier.

We have a massive 47 game lead heading into the playoffs.

Wow, nice job guys. What is crazy is that as a whole, we are trending up, not hanging on. I feel as though typically my team is held together by scotch tape in this league (regardless of what tier I am in), and now I face lineup decisions, versus just throwing the obvious guys out there.

they didn't post the tier breakdown yet......

can any of you numbers guys break it down in language a Chiefs fan can understand and let us know what that 46 point cushion really means for us.....what are we looking at here if say we go .500 in the playoffs....

We now get points for wins based on tiers: 3 for champ, 2 for vet, 1 for rookie, .5 for waterboy. 46 points is pretty significant. If I calced right, likely if we go .500, one or the other would need to go around .750 to beat us.

23 games to go for each team.

FBG

6 x 23 x 4 x .500 = 276

3 x 23 x 3 x .500 = 103.5

3 x 23 x 2 x .500 = 69

total = 448.5

SO

5 x 23 x 4 x .7 = 322

1 x 23 x 3 x .7 = 48.3

3 x 23 x 2 x .7 = 96.6

3 x 23 x 1 x .7 = 48.3

total = 515.2

SO would win by about 20 points in this scenario.

That said, of the 115 games in the champion tier for them, 10 of them will be against league mates which means 10 losses. 115 x .7 = 80.5 wins. 80.5 / 105 = 76.7%. To achieve a 70% win rate for that tier they would really have to win 76.7% across the games they don't play each other.

I thought I saw 4/3/2/1.

During the IBL playoffs, standings are determined using the following criteria:
1. Teams in the Champion Tier will receive 4 standings points for a win, and 2 standings point for a tie.
2. Teams in the Veteran Tier will receive 3 standings points for a win, and 1.5 standings point for a tie.
3. Teams in the Rookie Tier will receive 2 standings point for a win, and 1 standings point for a tie.
4. Teams in the Water Boy Tier will receive 1 standings point for a win, and 0.5 standings point for a tie.

You are correct. Need more :banned:

We've already buried them. Fifty points up and flooding the top tiers has all but guaranteed we win this thing. Most years there are two or three boards in the running but not this time.

Not sure we need more than a third of the games against the other boards because so many of the top tiers games are against ourselves where we get points and nobody else CAN get points.

Just make sure your lineups are in. GREAT JOB GUYS!

Three players in and sitting at 70+. Going against Gringo (whose score is registering< BTW). Hope I can crush this week and hang on for the rest!

FBG with two versions of Mason rolling and three copies of Rashad Jennings. That along with two copies of Calvin bodes well for us*.

* By "us" I mean all the FBG owners except for Stinkin Ref.

625James - 110 vs SL (WIN for SL)

Gringo - 113 vs SL (WIN for SL)

1. I guess there are only six matchups this week?

2. I have three definite wins (likely four), and likely two losses. With a score of 160+, I just have to say OUCH.

Stinkin Ref 118.5 + Harvin

One in the loss column

Win v. Valence

Win v. Beermutts (SO)

Win v. Miller (SO)

Up 20 v. Renesauz, he has Wallace, we have Harvin

Down 4 to lambert (FFT), he is done, we have Harvin

Worst case 3 wins with 5 probably. If things go according to plan, we hung 3 losses on the closest competition in the team stands.

One win but versus FFT. Harvin vs Sturgis with a 6 point deficit for a second. 27-32 points down in 3 other matches where they are done, so need a huge Harvin night to do any better.
