YES!! Finally, not a head scratcher. So far so good!! Hopefully woodley and tuck can mentor him and sio. What next? Qb? Db? Dl? We?Great pick for the Raiders. I love the Mack pick. He was in my top three in this draft and I'm thrilled that we got him.

Every pick that is all I am hoping for....no QB no QB no QB....QBs are falling.
I know.QBs are falling.
Could you even imagine? He was talked about as a slam-dunk Top-3 pick before he was even eligible. Glad that the poor showing at his pro day is causing this free-fall. I put more stock in his game tape than what he does in shorts.I know.QBs are falling.
I have to admit, I have a one track mind, and any pick that's not a QB, is a win as far as I am concerned. There's no D-lineman worth getting all excited for, OTs don't fall, so really the positions that SEEM to make the most sense for us are QB, WR, and frankly, TE. I would be pretty happy with Sefarian-Jenkins to be honest. The fact that TE isn't brought up more as a need baffles me. Rivera seems like he could maybe a Sheffler-type, but that's not a guarrantee. And he's not blocker.
Hoping for Teddy, will be fine with Carr in the 2nd, and would also be happy with another corner (Verrett?) or ASF at TE.
The TV guys need to realize NFL teams are not as high on Manziel as they are.

the pats will pick a QB rd1 ...IMOI'm trying not to imagine. too good to be true.Could you even imagine? He was talked about as a slam-dunk Top-3 pick before he was even eligible. Two years left in Brady's window, burning a 1st on a QBOTF with good WRs there, man, that's ballsy.the pats will pick a QB rd1 ...IMOI'm trying not to imagine. too good to be true.Could you even imagine? They have to get in front of Houston, tonight...Told you. That was big for us QB dreamers.
I think they would be tempted by Carr or Teddy, they might also feel they can't afford to trade up, and give up Day 2 picks (a pretty understandable position). They have to get in front of Houston, tonight...Told you. That was big for us QB dreamers.
I don't think so. Houston is the only team left that needs a QB and word is they are trading for Ryan Mallett. Teddy and Carr should be there for us in the second round. Getting Khalil Mack and Bridge/Carr. Can't ask for better than that. They have to get in front of Houston, tonight...Told you. That was big for us QB dreamers.
Think because three teams finished 4-12, they rotate the slots after the 1st round. Why does it show us at 2.04? With no pick for jax??
Tied teams rotate. Jax went 1st among all 4-12 teams in 1st so they go last among them in 2nd.Why does it show us at 2.04? With no pick for jax??
Would that be all it would take??Trade a 4th to move up to #32 and take Bridgewater.
No need as long as Carr is still OTB. No need to bid against yourself. Sit tight and wait.Trade a 4th to move up to #32 and take Bridgewater.
Bridgewater I would thinkI wonder if the Vikings are trading for a QB here.
The Oakland Raiders finally have a blue-chip talent on which to build their defense.
With the No. 5 overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, the Raiders selected Buffalo outside linebacker Khalil Mack.
Mack becomes the first Buffalo prospect ever drafted in the first or second round. The Butkus Award finalist also holds the NCAA record for most career forced fumbles (16) and shares the record for most tackles for a loss (75).
He gained national attention with a dominant performance against Ohio State, racking up 2.5 sacks, 9.5 tackles and an interception return for a touchdown while torching tackle Jack Mewhort off the edge.
NFL Media analyst Mike Mayock's top-ranked player, Mack is viewed as the prototypical edge rusher in a 3-4 defense. In the 4-3 scheme of Dennis Allen and Jason Tarver, he likely will be the strong-side backer on early downs, moving to a pass-rushing role in sub packages.
Having already signed solid veterans such as Justin Tuck, LaMarr Woodley, Antonio Smith, Tarell Brown and Carlos Rogers, general manager Reggie McKenzie deserves credit for building a competitive defense after fielding one of the league's most talent-poor units one season ago.
For his next trick, McKenzie will have to come up with a franchise quarterback.

So be it.Bridgewater I would thinkI wonder if the Vikings are trading for a QB here.
It's worth doing just to get the 5th year option on him.No need as long as Carr is still OTB. No need to bid against yourself. Sit tight and wait.Trade a 4th to move up to #32 and take Bridgewater.
Me too.Welp.... either Houston takes Carr or we do. I could certainly live with that.
