Hamilton trade to the Rangers official. Nice move by Bogie's boys. Hope Josh can have success there again. Angels did not do right by him.

What's the deal with 6:15 starts in Boston?
Just trying to start the games an hour earlier in April when the weather tends to be colder. Since the game probably still will last 4+ hours even with the new rules.
I like it. Always follow the sun.

I love when you hesitate to play a talented, young pitcher who has been lights out so far and you finally decide to take a whirl during a two start week and he promptly ####s all over your ratios. Im looking at you Jimmy Nelson.

Do we like Taijuan tonight?
I don't like him but I'm starting him anyway. I figure if I don't play him against Texas and Houston, why bother keeping him on the roster.
Weather is a concern tonight. I think I'm staying away.
theyre stacking like 6 lefties against him. Im benching
Better be a typhoon hitting there in the next 15-20 minutes

Former Arizona Diamondbacks manager and two-time World Series champion Kirk Gibson has been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, Fox Sports Detroit announced Tuesday.Gibson, 57, joined the Fox Sports Detroit broadcast rotation as a color commentator for Detroit Tigers games in February, but had been absent from the booth recently. He was previously a Fox Sport Detroit analyst for Tigers games from 1998 to 2002.

A Pontiac, Mich., native, Gibson played for the Tigers from 1979 to 1987 and 1993 to 1995.

"I have faced many different obstacles in my life, and have always maintained a strong belief that no matter the circumstances, I could overcome those obstacles," Gibson said in a statement. "While this diagnosis poses a new kind of challenge for me, I intend to stay true to my beliefs. With the support of my family and friends, I will meet this challenge with the same determination and unwavering intensity that I have displayed in all endeavors in life. I look forward to being back at the ballpark as soon as possible."

Fox Sports Detroit said it would welcome Gibson back on the air as his treatment permits.

Orioles-White Sox game will be played tomorrow afternoon ... but will be closed to the public. Wow. Can't remember the last time that's happened, or if it ever has.

I hated this when it first came out Friday. After some time, and seeing that it's for low money, no players in return and easy for Texas to get out from under it, I hope Josh finds his security blanket here in Texas and makes LAAAAAA regret the move.

Pretty much a "no lose" situation for the Rangers. A relatively small gamble that he finds his groove back.
