Agreed. He got hit hard in high A last season and has all of 29 IP in AA. Granted, they're really good IP, and he has the stuff, but seems like he could use more seasoning.

The Yahoo fantasy guy who knows stuff (Pianowski) said Gordon is reminding him of Ichiro. Hard hits, slap hits, doubles, tons of infield singles, running while slapping at the ball, etc. Given the guy's contact rate and how many steals he'll attempt, I think he's a top 30 fantasy player going forward. If he continues to hit the ball on the ground, he's going to hit .300 for sure.

He almost got back into my lineup this week, but Semien has been fine so I didn't make the change. I was curious just how hot he's been so I did the math for ya.

Sans the homers, Kinsler has been awesome this year. 17 multi hit games which leads the majors, .800 OPS, 25 runs, 19 RBI.

Pure conjecture but I'll throw out the name of Andy Barkett as Marlins manager. Led AA Jax Suns to multiple titles and developed Stanton Ozuna and Yelich. Already on the payroll as Marlins assistant hitting coordinator. Given the number of fired folks they're paying, an internal name sounds good.
