In related news, LeBron James has been to seven finals.Still 3-4.
And that article shows what's really depressing about being a Minnesota sports fan - we just can't quit our teams. There's always forgiveness and a feeling of "Well...maybe this year."Looks like the complaining has begun: http://www.startribune.com/minneapolisst-paul-has-the-longest-title-drought-of-any-major-u-s-sports-market/383643641/
What's the significance of the kermit hat?Lebron got off the plane today wearing a blue and yellow ultimate "warrior" shirt and a hat with Kermit drinking tea on it.
And so as it turned out, Lebron was actually the biggest troll of them all. The end.

Since the NFL-AFL merger in 1970 the Lions have the NFLs worst winning % of all the teams that were in the league at the time. Lions have never been to a SuperBowl and only have one playoff win since the Ford family bought the team in the early 60s. Add in the fact they are the only NFL team in history to go 0-16 and I think they make the top 3 with ease.Alot of franchises could get into the discussion then and I'm not really sure where the Lions would fall, but probably not top 5. IMO
Why would he leave Cleveland now? Makes no sense. Also makes no sense for him to move to the Lakers, unless he's bringing Durant with him or something like that, which doesn't seem likely.Screaming A. Smith reporting that Bron Bron is going to the Lakers
If James leaves now it will be much different than last time. James brought Cleveland a title...he can leave with his head high this time.Screaming A. Smith reporting that Bron Bron is going to the Lakers
He didnt say KD was going there but he "heard" he mightWhy would he leave Cleveland now? Makes no sense. Also makes no sense for him to move to the Lakers, unless he's bringing Durant with him or something like that, which doesn't seem likely.
If that's his goal he should got the New York. Melo and Porzingis isn't exactly chopped liver and he gets to stay in the East.If he wants to market his name more than it already is versus winning more titles, sure go have fun in LA.
He gets out of the east where the Philadelphia 76ers will be dominating for the next decadeIt's hard to see exactly what he gains by going there.
Are they shuttering the Eastern Conference at the same time?Screaming A. Smith reporting that Bron Bron is going to the Lakers
Good point. If that's his goal he should got the New York. Melo and Porzingis isn't exactly chopped liver and he gets to stay in the East.
Do you have a link? I see that he's reporting that he's hearing rumors of it. That's the same basic non-reporting reporting he did about Durant to the Lakers, before Durant called him out as being entirely full of ####.Screaming A. Smith reporting that Bron Bron is going to the Lakers
Compelling argument.Since the NFL-AFL merger in 1970 the Lions have the NFLs worst winning % of all the teams that were in the league at the time. It was on his sirius radio show - Multiple sources saying thats where Bron is going.Do you have a link? I see that he's reporting that he's hearing rumors of it. Based on his Durant reporting, I have a suspicion that his "sources" are the masturbatory fantasies of Lakers executives. It was on his sirius radio show - Multiple sources saying thats where Bron is going.
“But that’s none of my business” memes. Bron's been wearing the hat since Game 6 (or maybe it was Game 5).What's the significance of the kermit hat?
gloriousApparently the trolls need a lesson from their target- LeBron's troll game is also masterful.
LeBron plus another max FA plus those Laker youngsters (Russell, Randle, Ingram, Clarkson, & Nance Jr.) would be competing for titles pretty quickly.Based on his Durant reporting, I have a suspicion that his "sources" are the masturbatory fantasies of Lakers executives.
That said, Woj (who is an actual reporter) also seemed to believe he could leave for somewhere warm and "fun" if he won a title for Cleveland, and playing for the Lakers would certainly qualify. I'd still be surprised if he frittered away all this good will on a move that would bring back all the 2010 stuff again and would leave him mentoring a bunch of kids instead of chasing titles with his buddies. Something like the Clippers (via trade) or NY or a return to Miami would make a lot more sense.
The Rangers thing recently has been just brutal, but the Mavs were just five years ago.The most cursed sports city almost feels like dallas. The mavericks one a title recently but the cowboys have been a freak show / soul crushing loss machine forever. The rangers lost back to back world series.
Yea you can piss off with that. No offense. The most cursed sports city almost feels like dallas. The mavericks one a title recently but the cowboys have been a freak show / soul crushing loss machine forever. The rangers lost back to back world series.
I mean this in the nicest way possible, but you almost deserve a punch in the face just for saying this. The most cursed sports city almost feels like dallas. Depends on the max FA. Obviously, if it's Durant. Maybe, if it's Horford. Does anyone else get the job done?LeBron plus another max FA plus those Laker youngsters (Russell, Randle, Ingram, Clarkson, & Nance Jr.) would be competing for titles pretty quickly.![]()
Dallas Sidekicks won the 1987 MISL title. Next. The most cursed sports city almost feels like dallas. The mavericks one a title recently but the cowboys have been a freak show / soul crushing loss machine forever. The rangers lost back to back world series.
I don't know if he deserves a punch in the face, but he's definitely got a kick in the nuts coming.I mean this in the nicest way possible, but you almost deserve a punch in the face just for saying this.
Yeah, but little Missouri has 3 WS Titles, and 6 appearances in the last 11 years between the Royals and Cards... that's pretty impressive. As a Missouri guy, all we have is baseball.
As a Kansas guy, we technically don't have anything. As a Missouri guy, all we have is baseball. It's like that doesn't even count, plus the last non-baseball champion just left for LA.
Last night Sasha Kaun became the third member of the 2008 Jayhawks national champions to win an NBA championship ring. I feel like that counts for something. As a Kansas guy, we technically don't have anything.
Neither does FresnoAs a Kansas guy, we technically don't have anything.
By that criteria, it's Boston. Because even when your team wins a title, you have to share it with Boston fans.I feel like the most cursed city is Pittsburgh. Sure, the Penguins just won a title last week, but it was just hell to sit through and Big Ben is kind of a scumbag too. JMO
yeah, the cowboys have really had a tough run as a franchise. downright sisyphian. really feel for all them and their fans. TPW.The most cursed sports city almost feels like dallas.
