its after memorial day so you can go with cowboy boots like always brohan take that to the bank just make sure they have soft spikes metal is out now 

 
Good God these announcers for Fowler-Rahm-Matsuyama just suck.  Horrible.  The production/camera work isn't much better.  How long should it take a sports network to figure out how to show a golf tournament?

Yeah, he really is, at least based on my brief interaction.  I was standing next to a guy at the Phoenix Open who got hit by his drive.  Solidly, right in the arm.  Rahm comes over and the guy jovially tries to show him the red mark from being hit and shake his hand.  Rahm basically scowls at him, shoots us all nearby a look, his caddie ushered us back, Rahm hit and took off.

I was firmly in the 'do not like' category before this but now I may need to rethink

 
Is this the US Open or the St. Jude Classic?

I hate when the US Opens are extremely tough and penal.  And the damn greens aren't fast and holding everything, now I have to wait a year to see a real US Open.

Good call on the low score (-7, but you had the right idea). There were some good scores but none of the leaders pulled away.  Shows how difficult it is to put 2 low rounds together regardless of conditions. I think I counted 19 players within 3 strokes of the lead. Hardly any major winner's among them. Should be an interesting weekend. Could be one of those weeks when a guy wins after barely making the cut.

The course had a boatload of rain on Monday and Tuesday so they are slower and holding better than they were likely hoping for.  A lot more overnight so likely more of the same over the weekend.
