***2019 Kentucky Derby Thread & More*** (2 Viewers)

Container of planters next to the paper towels. Fan in the room too. Probably never used the room before.

I hope that everyone had a fun Derby Week regardless of wins/losses.

This was my best Derby Week since 1993.

GM, I hope you had a wonderful time too.

Good luck in the decision.

OH, also, irt:

Update - bathroom situation is good at paddocks under the stands - for men.

I just went in to do a few one-hits, and no sooner had I lit, an uproar.

Some female decided she"d had nuff. Took the stall next to me. Her toes were beautiful - I even told her.

Got pics too. Not uploaded tho.

By the time her sitch began to settle down, everyone started yelling... Who has the smoke?

I kept quiet...
...I uploaded the pic.

7 will lose cause I bet him
Yep and yep.

I’m in a pool where you pick a “dark horse” where you get their odds to 1 if they win outright. I was sure I was winning the pool until the overturn. Now my neighbor just won $600.

Pure bull####
Agreed. The leader has a right to dictate the path somewhat when they're turning, esp on slick surface, it being incumbent upon the chasers to be aware of that just as much as following one of them mega pickup trucks in traffic. That much change of path is a no-brainer DQ on the str8, not on the turn. Terrible decision.

Don't think I ever saw a jock's objection changing the outcome at Hollywood Park. Stewards inquiry many times but not a jock's objection.

Yep.  A bit miffed they DQ'd him giving the terrible conditions and turn.  Curious how much money changed hands on that decision.
