super nervous this week. Happy to only have a couple on bye, but a few key injuries will hurt.

missing Montgomery and Robinson at RB is going to kill me this week. Need the other QBs to get some TDs.
I think my WR are in decent shape this week, but still waiting for Ridley to rock. Thrilled to see AJ Brown finally wake up.
mark Andrews is looking good and I need a monster game this week.

Back to back 200+ weeks.  Got 45th place this week with 210.

RB’s are going to be a problem for me this week though with only Sony and Rhamondre active this week.  😰.  I’m pretty OK everywhere else but that hole might take me down….

Well Crap....

Via Rotoworld:

"Washington released K Dustin Hopkins and signed K Chris Blewitt."

That's a blow for some as I had him too!

I'm sitting at 86.1 with Gerald Everett and Marquez Callaway left to play.

Unbelievable I could survive this. I'll need to rethink strategy for this contest in 2022,  A LOT.

Heading into Sunday Night Game I'm at 154 and done... hope that's enough.  My RBs combined for 3.8 points    but if I survive I'm past the bye week for Harris and Robinson.

Shout out to Stafford and Gesicki this week and I        K. Cupp

What players have been the best thru 7 weeks taking in cost vs performance

Darrick Henery for me i think even though 32 dollars

So many players missed this week, but I somehow pieced together 135 and still have Callaway, but he will not score until above my low flex of 8.7.

Brady, Henry, Pittman, Edwards and Henry TE might keep me in it.

Hey gang, glad to see some familiar faces are still in the contest.

Kinda caught up in stuff (including a trip to Cincy week 4 to see my Bengals so got behind in tracking my ghost entry.

Let's see....

Week 3: 184.40

Week 4:181.70

Week 5:  195.85

Week 6:  170.45

Week 7:  161.20 + (Callaway/Everett) - (11.80/11.80)

So....maybe it wasn't such a comically flawed entry after all 😕

Anyways good luck to those sweating The Turk this week!

-QG

160 with only Callaway to go if he can top 13.20 to add to it. Given the byemageddon and injuries I expect the cutoff to be much lower than recent weeks, but doesn't mean I won't sweat the turk!

My RB's put up a total of 0.4 points this week, but looks like I will be advancing to next week with 149.05 points. Can't wait for CMC to get off IR and Stevenson to get out of the NE doghouse.

Went with the shotgun approach on cheaper WR's (spent $65) and they have been my saving grace thus far:

Waddle (5)
C Davis (3)
A Brown (4)
M Pittman (3)
J Meyers (2)
AJ Green (4)
Amon-Ra St. Brown (1)
M Callaway (2)
B Edwards (1)

Here are a few at each position:

QB
Brady ($17) has to top the list.  Others are Hurts ($15) and Stafford ($14).  If you paired Brady with Darnold ($8), you could've covered Brady's poor week 4.  And Bridgewater ($5) scored better in week 6.  Honorable mentions go out to Cousins ($13) and Carr ($12).

RB
No one comes close to Cordarrelle Patterson ($4), not even Derrick Henry.  The dude is RB7 and only 8 RB's in the contest were cheaper at $3.  Chuba Hubbard at $5 has put up a few decent scores.  Fournette ($18) and Robinson ($16) are a few medium-priced guys who have done well.  A guy like Ingram ($3) may be a decent bang for the buck, but other than week 1, do you really want to start a guy getting 5 points?

WR
Cooper Kupp ($20) is scoring like 2 WR's right now.  Two guys giving him a run for the money are Deebo Samuel ($13) and Mike Williams ($12).  They are the only 2 in the top 10 with only 6 games played.  Pittman ($9), Kirk ($7), and Renfrow ($5) are a trio of options under $10.

TE
Dalton Schultz ($4) leads the list for me, with Dawson Knox ($6) in second.  If Gronk ($9) can get healthy, he is also a steal.  I am sure he carried a few teams in the first 2 weeks.  Ertz and Uzomah are a pair of $7 dudes doing well thus far.

K
Bullock is the $2 stud, while Folk is the one for $3.  With 18 options $3 and under, it still baffles me that people roster expensive kickers.

D
Dallas leads the league in both INT's and TD's, yet they have only played 6 games and cost a mere $2.  Just like kickers, grab a couple cheap D's and avoid the expensive ones.

Good luck to all the regulars still in it.

$2 kickers are way more easily replaceable than higher prices kickers.... at least that was my thought process.  $2 defenses are a no brainer because they will always be on the field... but if you go with 3 $2 kickers there is a non-zero chance you could end up losing one or more of these guys because they get cut.

I had one of the players listed above on my rooster which is probably why I'm out

Yeah you really really have to scrutinize job security with these types.  Rotund Randy didn't feel like a sure bet at the start of the season.

Survived byepocalypse with 140.  Got a grand total of .40 pts (yes less then a point) from my entire RB position 😳.   Craziness
I scored 154 despite a total of 0.6 points from RBs. Maintaining the average of 30 points over the cutline...except for my 133 point Week 4 that got me cut.  :wall:

The top entry this week looks VERY good and as long as there are no major RB issues is solid through to the end (other than week 14 with no Def points):

Couple thoughts - when CMC comes back, that team only has 3 RB, and Mixon's BYE is gonna be tricky.

they have a lot of players out in week 14, and have no defense that week. Also the Bucs play the Bills, who should still be a pretty solid defense...no Jones, so if Brady lays an egg that's a real danger spot.

Otherwise I agree - that's a really solid team.

Crazy low cutoff this week, and I missed it by 10 points. Demonstrative of the complete collapse of my squad this week. I think I'm going back to the full 30 player squad next season, the -25% cut each week, with injuries and such, I just don't see how else I could last.

159.10. Good for 286th. 0 From Zeke and 6.2 from M Calloway.

The M Andrrews M Gesicki combo was /is good. It was M Gesicki's turn this week.

I don't expect to make it, but I like this version of the contest with no free rides.

I am not advocating taking the risky cheap guys who may lose their jobs.  Yes, the 2 options this year for $2 were risky (one being a rookie, and one who looks like he eats rookies).  But what about the 16 options for $3?  It wouldn't have been too hard to do some quick research and pick out the safer options.  FTR, I would've taken McPherson had I joined the contest, but would've shied away from Bullock.
