2021 Philadelphia Eagles - Queued up a playlist of our greatest zits throughout the season for final game (1 Viewer)

Down 17-13 with 3:00 left in the 4th Quarter, Hurts leads the Eagles on an 7-play/82 yard drive. There will be a really controversial penalty on this drive that we all talk about for the next week. Hurts runs one in from 6 yds out to put them on top with less than :30 left. Brady can't get them in FG range.

Ultimately, the Eagles pull it off and win 20-17.
So far, I’ve got the Tampa score down. My vision is coming to fruition.

Was hoping they would put up a fight but man, not too impressive from Hurts weak arm pick, to game plan, to another reminder how bad Reagor is. Coming into the season I wasn’t sure we would win 4 games so overall it could be a lot worse but was hoping we would end a on a high.

One WR you have to worry about, how difficult is it to put your best DB on him? Instead, all TB has to do to get Slay off Evans is put him in the slot. And the Bears and Vikings want to interview this guy? Take him, please!!

I just can’t with these takes. It’s not ironic that all the guys we thought looked good don’t seem good today. The schedule made us look better then we are.

This fanbases failure to learn from getting rid of guys (McDermott and Bowles) is staggering.

I originally thought you guys could wait on getting a new QB for one more year and use the three 1st rounders to reload the defense. I no longer believe that. If you take away Hurts' running lanes and make him throw,  he's a below average nfl QB.

Also, screw Jalen Reagor.

They can still wait, just don’t expect to win in the playoffs. That gimmick #### is for the regular season and poor opponents.

You need good to great QB play to win on these weekends.

Right, you gotta put this in perspective. And frankly. its good they got to finish the season going up against a good team again, because that run at the end against all bad teams could have led to an unrealistic image of where they were.

Hurts isn't going to improve THAT much over the course of a single season. His issues are his issues. We can hope with an offseason and training camp and more work he can improve. As we have all said - odds are against him. But who do we roll out there?

Dunno though... 3 first round picks. I wont be upset if they take a flyer on a QB with one of em.
I was looking at some mocks with a lot of QB’s falling I would like to see a QB no later that 2nd round. One of our top 4 picks I think makes sense.

No Josh Sweat hurts.  Not that he's great - just that our DE's that are left are so bad.

Heard he had emergency Surgery on a life threatening issue. Was apparently close to playing but didn't. Heard it was an abdominal thing. Appendicitis or something maybe?

Just need a Miles Sanders fumble to get Bingo on my card.

And a Barnett Stupid penalty. Not blaming him on the bad roughing the passer call early that was bogus. I think that call took the wind out of their sails and they realized they had no chance when they realized it was TB the Fans and the ref they had to play against today.

Yep I think people have tunnel vision. I use to say how smart this fanbase is but they have tunnel vision now and can't admit to things. Numerious people obsessed with Wentz's failure this year and then today our guy couldn't get the job done either, not realizing the lack of talent on this team either.

We can all agree that Reagor should be left in TB and cut though I think

They can still wait. He's competitive enough to keep them in games. If the QB class was a lot better you'd bet they take a QB this draft but the class is weak. Unless there's a guy that jumps out at them they fall in love with I could see a developmental guy coming in Late rounds or UDFA. Next year after the season they prep on QBs for the draft more.

The good news I'm hearing from my people is Hurts future isn't guaranteed here and you don't have a lot of people vouching he's the long term guy yet or talking people into it.

Our only option would be Minshew. Not a horrible option but would you keep Hurts and sign a guy or maybe the team falls in love with a guy in the draft this year? This is what sucks for a team like us with a weak QB class and poor options. The talk will heat up again I'm sure because of our picks about trading for Watson/Russ or signing Rodgers and we shouldn't do any of that.

I see them trading their own 1st considering it's lower then the others to accumulate more picks especially if someone offers them a 1st next year. Accumulate picks to add guys and some extra ammo for 2023 Draft for a possible QB replacement.

Would've loved Kenny Pickett but I think he goes too early. Stay away from Malik Davis though. I could see them maybe taking Howell or Desmond Ridder if they trade back one of those picks

SF win would help wash this taste of bile out of my mouth.

I know not everyone likes it but my Milan's arch city Rivals just had a draw today in a match they should've won with my team a match in hand tomorrow so that helped. NE getting boatraced was also great.

How nice would it be to have a Devan White or Nick Bosa?

I wouldn't want a guy like Nick Bose. I'd want Joey Bosa for sure. Lets just say Nick's um political views are something that a lot of people wouldn't get over in this city. I won't go too far into it but you can look up 2019 Bosa twitter controversy and politics along with some opinions prior to his NFL career didn't look good. I'll finish this by saying he got destroyed for some of his views and rightfully so as they were nothing but false regurgitated things. Good player but even Joey Bosa was a bit miffed by what his brother did. Nick spent most of the SB that year answering questions for it and I heard it led to distractions for the team that week. Nothing else ever came from it but compared to SF the Philly fans and media wouldn't have let up on that to this day.

Hurts had a rough game, but watching this Dallas team with 4 or 5 legit receiving options makes me think an X WR would be more helpful than a new QB

Hows another WR gonna help when we don't have a QB who can consistently get the ball there? Smith is wide open half the time and Hurts either misses him or off half the time.

I think both are true and I was about to post maybe we should've given up those picks for Cooper awhile back

Good season.   Super interesting to see how they plan to improve the roster.  Lots of tough decisions.

One thing for sure.  Reagor needs to go.

He plays in SF…..which is in California. You won’t get a bigger mismatch than that and it doesn’t matter. He’s a star.

I don't want him to run for office here, just sack the QB.

Nothing like a Cowboys choke job to ease the pain. After all the trash talk from their fans they made it no further than we did in a rebuilding year….love it.  :lmao:
Since I knew we were never playoff ready, the Cowboys loss made it overall a good weekend of games.
The fact that they lost after being gifted every chance made all the sweeter.

Wasn't really a bad call though. I know the talking heads didnt like it, but he was WAAAAYY late, ball was gone a full 2 seconds when he hit Brady. Doesn't matter if you're pulling up when it's been 2 seconds and 3 slow steps.

The holding call on Kelce hurt a lot.....but can't really blame the ref....at full speed that gets called nearly every time...it LOOKED like a hold live. Call it bad luck or a great dive but those things happen.

Really felt like game was a ton closer then the score would indicate. Take away that brutal end zone pick Hurts threw (way late trying to throw that!) and the roughing call and that game goes to half more like 10-3. And I don't believe for one second TB was playing safe in the third quarter. If not for a Raegor muff Eagles still have a shot in the fourth.

I'm done with Raegor...he's barely rosterable at this point and as a first rounder he needs a new home. Let him be someone elses #4 or 5.

In the end disappointed it wasn't closer but happy about the season on the whole. Over-achieved a bit, showed growth both with young players and with the coaching. Worried about the O line....getting old...as much as we need defensive studs we also need O lineman. Pick up a reasonable WR2/3 type in FA and spend all the picks on defense and the O line

And both gone on the same day.

I can’t believe that call to end the game.
Brutal...and can hear the fans whining about the refs...but Cowboys absolutley deserved that....a draw with 14 seconds and no timeouts? They pulled similar crap earlier with the punt team on the field and then trying to swap out 8 or 9 players with 13 or 14 seconds on the clock. They EARNED that delay of game....absurd to blame the zebras when you're barely ready to snap at less then 2 seconds...defense deserves more then 5 seconds to see who's on the field and make their own subs....it's in the rules!
