Agree.I think this year is just very different than in years past in that there’s not necessarily any dominant teams. Every team has flaws and the best team (us) has what looks to be big’ish ones. The Chiefs receivers lost the game but Mahomes also had a couple big misses in the 2nd half. The Eagles are a flawed team. Maybe even some major flaws that will eventually catch up to them. But I think every team in the league has major flaws. The one thing I’ll say about both the Eagles and Chiefs is that they have the potential to be great (both have great QBs, good offensive lines and can get pressure on the QB). Just haven’t seen the consistency all year. I wish I was a fan of either one of these 2 teams than the scrub of an organization that my team has turned into.Last year's Gannon defense in the Super Bowl allowed Reid and Mahomes to score 24 points in the second half. Last night's Desai led defense gave up exactly 0 points after halftime.
The Chiefs have scored zero points in the second half in the last three games. So that trend falls a bit on the Chiefs I think as much as the Eagles D.
If the Chiefs receivers can actually catch a pass I'm not sure the Eagles win last night.
But still, it's a good win for Philly. But they also have some things to clean up as they get close to the playoffs.
Whats fantastic is this Eagles team is figuring out ways to win, at any cost. For example, our special teams, specifically punting and punt return was exceptional. Helped us win this game, no doubt.
