AgreedMany, rightfully, could quibble with Kerr's rotations throughout the Olympics. Not down the stretch today though. The best 7 players played when it mattered down the stretch.

Steph is underrated in the greatest (top 10) conversations for sure. After this tourney, there should be a legitimate conversation between Steph and MJ for the GOAT.
Seriously. I am concerned for Team USA next time actually.Won't ever see that again. LeBron, Durant, and Curry.

Means something to me man. That was amazing.Won't ever see that again. LeBron, Durant, and Curry.

2012: not a star yetWhy is this Steph's first Olympics? Injuries and team precautions before?

The tie breaker should be who has read more books.
if we learned anything from these Olympics it's that Lebron just isn't very good

Alll of these are funny. Not what I said but funny.
I was watching this on an American Airlines flight (which thankfully had live TV) and my wife had to tell to keep it down because each 3 got a bigger reaction from me including at least one audible “holy $—!!”That final Steph three got one of the biggest yells ever out of me
Home of Frostillicus?Watched today at the HOF. There is a bar connected to the hall. I had to ask them to put the game on.

I appreciate your Lebron book schtick. One of the best things in this thread![]()

I’m glad you liked it. I enjoyed that apparently everyone in this thread has been living under a rock for the past decade.

I don't like James because I am Piston fan and some other minor gripes, but he is arguably the best player ever. (I have him second) and by all accounts he is a really good human being with his charity work and complete lack of scandals despite being the most watched player on the planet for the better part of 2 decades.
Yeah well that’s what I thought too but live betting the under in the 3rd quarter still didn’t work outProbably not the right thread for this, but I watched the WBB Gold Medal game today, and that was ugly basketball. I can't recall ever seeing so many shots missed within 3 feet of the basket as the US team missed. Add to that the turnovers and the offensive rebounds allowed, and they were very lucky to win. I will say that I was surprised the refs allowed the game to be as physical as it was, that was a factor.
I get that many don't like him, but anyone hating on him at this point just looks silly.Curry's 4th quarter was so much fun to watch. You could see the other guys were all about feeding him too. That last three he made was ridiculous.
Le Bron, what can you say? I think he's the best ever at this point.
Most hyped athlete to ever actually live up to it and more?I get that many don't like him, but anyone hating on him at this point just looks silly.Curry's 4th quarter was so much fun to watch. You could see the other guys were all about feeding him too. That last three he made was ridiculous.

Tiger is a good compare. He won 4 consecutive amateur championships from age 13-16 and was one of the most media hyped athletes of all-time. And similar to LeBron he’s the 2nd best ever at his sport. Most hyped athlete to ever actually live up to it and more?I get that many don't like him, but anyone hating on him at this point just looks silly.Curry's 4th quarter was so much fun to watch. He was seemingly the most hyped high school basketball player ever. What about Gretsky or any other top tier all time hockey player? Were they hyped at that level at high school age? I think Tiger hype started in college. What about tennis... did Serena or Federer or Nadal have hype at as young an age as Lebron? Interesting question.
I know it's an obvious troll/bait, but I want to be on record that it's actually kind of ridiculous to not have Tiger as the golf GOAT. At least Jordan/LeBron is an argument where reasonable minds can disagree.Tiger is a good compare. Agreed. When Phil Michelson, John Daly, and Sergio are your biggest challengers you kind of have it easy. That said, he dominated so much that better competition may not have made much of a difference.I know it's an obvious troll/bait, but I want to be on record that it's actually kind of ridiculous to not have Tiger as the golf GOAT. I think there’s a solid argument for Nicklaus. The biggest one being many think the competition was better with Jack - at least the top end guys. Field was deeper with Tiger and if he hadn’t shot himself in the foot he would definitely be - but I do think there’s an argument to be had.
