Well, Milwaukee used their two draft picks on players that are a year away from being a year away. So, adding a competent guard that can play minutes each half without being left open is a real plus.

In an off-season where multiple teams have already thrown millions at players that absolutely won't be playable in the playoffs, this is a good signing for the Bucks.

IIRC, Kornet still holds the record for most 3PM for a 7-foot player in college.

I'm not saying Kornet is a world beater, but his .248 WS/48 was better than everyone else on the team last year except for Queta at .259. Considering he played 1,000+ minutes between the regular season and playoffs, that was pretty valuable.

I think I'd rather have DeRozan at the MLE for however long than Lavine at 50M for 3 years. And, though this may sound strange, Vanderbilt is one of the few (only?) legitimate perimeter defenders they've got. Just brought back Gary Harris too. They’ll be better with KCP and Paolo taking the next step but yea I was hoping for one other player too.

KCP/Harris covering 48 minutes with good shooting and excellent defense is pretty decent though.
