Oh man, someone getting quite a steal with Kasparas.
Yeah a nice value at this point. Glaring warts but IMO downside is a backup PG or a secondary ball handler that can play off ball. Watched every game and also have questions if he can be full time PG. Was inexcusably careless with the ball the last couple months

Still can't believe Suns are giving 2 1sts for Mark Williams who is injury prone and due a new deal. There's going to be bigs available at their 1st later this draft

Back to back Illini go

Heat take KJ
Wiz take Will Riley

Watching the Field of 68 live stream draft coverage on YT and Jeff Goodman put on an Illini shirt and Illini went the next 2 picks

Will Riley puts on some weight he's got substantial offensive upside. He simply cant compete with NBA toughness....hell he had issues with it big time at college level.

I like the KJ fit in Miami where he'll get to be more of a secondary ball handler at least initially

I'll have to look at it in total combined with Nurkic deal but I think the Suns have given a total 3 1st rounders to Hornets for what amounts to contract year Mark Williams whose career high in games played is 44

My top 5 guys I’d love for the Lakers to move up for in the 2nd:

Rasheer Fleming
Adou Thiero
Ryan Kalkbrenner
Bogoljub Markovic
Sion James

Like what the Zards have done offensively with Tre Johnson and Will Riley
We badly needed shooting from range. Gonna have to score 120 per game to win though. This D will be horrible unless some of the vets play more than I expect. Might get up to 20 wins this year. Trust the process or whatever.

Pretty stoked for Richardson on the Magic. Adding him and Bane really brings their shooting floor up quite a few levels. If the spacing helps Paolo improve his shooting they could really cook offensively next year.

Does seem like there’s no need for Jett Howard now. There probably never was any need for Jett Howard but not sure how he sees the floor now. Not sure I’d call him a trade chip but I could see him on the move.

Magic rotation now because I can do this and it actually looks good

PG - Suggs, Black
SG - Bane, Richardson, Howard — could see them adding a vet here
C - Carter, Goga, Mo Wagner likely back
PF - Paolo, Isaac
SF - Franz, De Silva, Houstan

I still think there is a trade in there with Isaac but maybe not.

Exciting!

Also, the Hawks getting an unprotected first from the PELICANS to go back 10 spots is insane!!!! What is New Orleans doing??????

As a Spartan fan I don't think Jase translates to the NBA. He is more of a sg then pg and he is only 6'2".

I like Hollinger’s analysis and he had him 14th. Good enough for me. I’m guessing they get an experienced 2 and Jace spends most of the year at the end of the bench or the G.

A bit surprised how high Collin Murray-Boyles went. Just a hard-nosed player who is really well-rounded. Didn't have a lot of help, especially last year.
