Well, he didn't get woody hayes'd....Kirby uncensored! I like it. Will he get fined for criticizing the officials?
Lol Alabama last in sec.

That was just where the screen cut off from one side to the other. They are 8th out of 16 (there are no more divisions).

The only two teams left that don't have an SEC loss play next weekend. What’s crazier to me right now is seeing Texas A&M in first place in the SEC at 4-0
That's not a good look for USC. Maryland lost at home by 80 last week to NW.
"Nobody believed in us" shtick from Kirby is so tired.
That is a very surprising non-punt.

"Even though we have had the #1 recruiting class the last 4 years and boatloads of NIL $$$$ nobody believed in us!!"

I mean the entire ESPN staff picked Texas. It's worth mentioning.

So Oregon should be # 1 now, right?

If this happens, it will be only the third week this century that PSU has been rated that high in the AP poll. The last time (2017) ended with a loss to tOSU who we play in 2 weeks. So Oregon should be # 1 now, right?

Absolutely, and I think they have to put Penn St. #2. Then we see how many undefeated teams are leapfrogged by Georgia and OSU.
You are. That was the line from July. Miami is -18Just saw a post on another forum that said the line at FSU/Miami next weekend opened as -1 FSU. That feels like super free money unless I’m missing something extremely obvious.
Officially? No.The targeting penalty really needs to be looked at. I get it they don`t want d players to lead with helmet. Yesterday I saw 3-4 times RBs destroy DBs the same way. Head down buried into the chest of DBs, just ran them over. Is it different for O players?

In practice, yes. Let's just say if an official throws that flag, they risk a reprimand. Let's just say we are told it better be the most egregious thing ever before you call it.

Why is that even a question?

I kind of hope we end up at #2. Zero positives of being ranked #1 in October. But I don't see how we aren't #1.
ESPN's FPI is.....interesting. Ducks at #8? I actually get tOSU, and you could make an argument for Georgia. But Notre Dame and Ole Miss? Texas and Alabama? Tennessee?
Oh, I promise I don't care about where Oregon is ranked on Oct. I care about the rankings in January when it's all over.
But there is no reason in the world why they won't be ranked #1 come Monday. None.

It just came out. 59 of the 61 first place votes. Wilner and a guy from Baton Rouge were the holdouts.
Why did they add the two minute warning anyway?
I have seen it thrown once. And it was egregious.Officially? No.The targeting penalty really needs to be looked at. I get it they don`t want d players to lead with helmet. Doesn't even have to be that complicated. You are out for that series unless your team calls a timeout. Player safety and all that.Apologies if this was posted already. But the fake injury has to stop. Simple rule. You go down while play is live or the clock is moving, you are out for at least 5 minutes of actual game time. including the entire first quarter of the next game if it slips beyond the current game

Certainly feels like it is heading in that direction. At least OU didn’t move away from its recruiting base, and Oklahoma produces way more top-end talent at the HS level than Nebraska. But if they whiffed on this Venables hire, which seems more and more likely each week, this could be a rough decade+Somebody on Twitter today called Oklahoma “SEC Nebraska” and I’ve thought about that for a while now.
Idk about whiffed yet. It's easily the best defense I've ever had as an OU fan (which started in 2010 as a freshman).Certainly feels like it is heading in that direction. :laugh reaction:Thread titles for this thread are too challenging because I had like 8 for Liberty losing last night and they’d all result in a long timeout most likely.![]()
So I just sub in and end of bench guy to have a non contact injury as the huddle breaks.Doesn't even have to be that complicated. You are out for that series unless your team calls a timeout.
