2024 NCAA Quarter draft #1 (1 Viewer)

Forecast for Thursday and through the weekend: heavy clouds with a strong chance of raining quarters!

Here's a comparison of the 2 quarter drafts

As noted previously, Dayton has the biggest gap in draft slots. The only other one that is close is Washington State.
8 teams were selected in the exact same draft slot. There's seems to be agreement on how the East falls (other than WSU)

I've got a soft spot in my heart for WSU HC Kyle Smith, so I came into this knowing I was going to take them and just erred on the side of going in early.

Results are in second tab of the linked spreadsheet. I've updated access to the spreadsheet to read only because someone messed up the formulas a few years ago. I'll keep it updated pretty regularly.

Crazy that, as it stands right now, three 11 seeds will have won and none of them will have been the consensus top choice, New Mexico.

Almost got this fixed to live update, there were some errors on a few of the draft pages that I have to go back and fix seed wise. i.e. colorado was put in the draft page with inconsistent seeding. that blew up a bunch of crap. but it's working more or less

Ladies and gentlemen, I give to you the kupcho1 2024 quarters draft spreadsheet

This google sheet is driven by the TedJuch 2024 data tab
It should work in the future assuming he still makes the data available (I assume we'll just have to change 2024 to 2025 in the formula in A1)
The only thing that isn't automatically populated are the region names (column F in the 2024 tab)

If anyone finds any issues, let me know.

The spreadsheet seems to be working perfectly.

I almost did from drowning in all of those quarters.

This is the first time I've participated in one of these and just noticed that Zow will be the only one with a positive balance at the conclusion. Everyone else will be paying him.
Has this ever happened before?
I only looked at the last 2 years, but there's usually 3 winners (4 in the case of the #2 draft).

I’ve been doing quarters on here for more than ten years I think and I don’t remember it.

Suppose it’s comparable to like a Donkey Kong kill screen.

Woz has to be setting some kind of record, right?
