That’s an argument, but I’d rather have Minkah in a position he can dominate with a different next man up at strong safety.Tomlin loves flexibility to move people around then sticks em where they aren’t as effective.Fitzpatrick's been asked to play 20 freaking yards off the ball for two years. Its no wonder he isnt making plays. Doesnt make sense. Not like its helped stymie TEs either, thats for effing sure.Khan needs to decide what to do with Minkah as well as his play seems to have fallen off a cliff. I wouldn't be against looking for some future draft capital.

If thats what they want their FS doing, they may as well let him walk and and save 13 million. They can find someone to do that for a third of the cost.
Minkah just turned 28 in November. Unlikely his talent has fallen off due to age. Tomlin has him playing a role that doesn’t suit his strengths.
seems out of necessity though due to weak CBs, no?
I could see it as a solid move if Minkah performed above average in the role he played this season. Unfortunately he struggled. What a waste of talent.
