Why would they want to run those guys out of town, exactly!
Same reasons Miami fans should hope McDaniel keeps his job until at least the Bye week

Grier should have been fired for that move alone. Coach lawsuit the hypocrite and whistle blower.when he hires Brian Flores from the Patriots.Tua-Austin Jackson-Noah Iginoghene is the 1st round of champions.Austin Jackson has basically been a bust at Right Tackle, can't stay healthy either, he's softer than Tua
This is actually ok. Let's say we manage a top 3 pick this year, you fire Grier and McDaniel and bring in a whole new cast. One they identify someone worth taking in the top three as a QB, I personally don't think there is this year but maybe they do. If so i doubt it is anyone you are going to want to start right away so you let Tua roll out there and take the abuse until he breaks or you feel the rookie is ready the back half of the year. Then 2027 you cut Tua and take your lumps but they are manageable. Option two if no QB is worth a top 3 pick in the new groups eyes, you've got two tackles rated in the top 5 if Mauigoa and Procter come out, take one and start the rebuild with a stud OT and let Tua flounder another year and get you a high draft pick for 2027 which I think projects as a better QB draft, especially if Manning develops. Option 3 trade back, accumulate ammo for 2027 draft to go after Manning if you think he projects out that well.We are in Year 1 of the Tua extension so again he's here to stay right now, not a darn thing that can be done
$99.2M in dead cap 2026
After 2026, $32M dead cap spread over a couple years, manageable.
McDaniel will be fired end of the season, Grier who knows?
Waddle isn’t going anywhere unless Miami burns it down in the off season. He's 12th in WR salary, his cap # is 8, 11, then 33 mil in 2027, when they would need to restructure. Better to keep him even during a rebuild.Waddle somehow had one of the higher scores, I hardly saw him do anything after Tyreek Hill left the game
We pay Waddle WR1 money, he should be able to still stretch the field and if he cannot, then we need to get him out of here as well and start over at WR
I hope Waddle is ready to answer the call, Miami needs him to be a leader right now
Jets can't rush the passer. Whenever we have a matchup where the D can't bring heat, Miami should have time to operate their offense.Paul, Savaiiinaea, and Borum had 3 of the worst PFF ratings of the night
Offensive line grades poorly but I feel like Tua had enough time to deliver his throws
The OL seems to be able to keep Achane moving right now

The team is unlikely to tankSometimes even when you win, you lose. We now sit behind the Jets, Titans and Saints in the race for the #1 pick. The good news is we play the Jets in NY yet and we play the Saints. The bad news with Carolina and Cleveland in two of the next three we could get to 3 wins and take ourselves completely out of the hunt for the top pick.
The Chargers are down both starting OL Tackles right now, we face them after Carolina, might be more competitive than some would thinkSometimes even when you win, you lose. I've got no mixed feelings any longer. Tank job is the way. Are there any good QBs coming out next year?We may only be favored in 2 of the next 13 games, @CAR this week and home vs NO in 7 weeks. I have mixed feelings about the benefit of losing vs winning. We're not going anywhere this year.

Lots of good Qbs, but you have to hope we get a Daniels and not a williams (or for those who like to beat a dead horse a Herbert instead of a Tua).I've got no mixed feelings any longer. Might be little too late, but feel like I'm finally seeing McDaniel grow/adapt a bit. Now, we should not be favored in any remaining games. Tua isn’t the biggest problem, neither is coach McDaniel. It's GM Grier who started focusing on shiny toys, instead of the trenches, a few years ago. And now his recent picks in the trenches, aside from LT Paul last year, have been failures. His tradeups for Liam, Wright, and Jonah Savaiinaea lost us valuable draft picks, Grier acted like we were 1 or 2 picks away from success. Ross tampering also cost us a 1st and a 3rd.
>>Pains me to write, because K. Grant/Jonah S. are nice young men, good college players & trying to improve. But PFF rates them the worst players in the league at their position (118th, 76th). Difficult to overstate how damaging it is for your top 2 picks to be this ineffective.<<
Omar and Joe Rose were talking this morning, Omar thinks they should stop playing Grant all together, he's allowing something like 5.5-6 yds a rush, teams are running over himNow, we should not be favored in any remaining games.
