2025 Philadelphia Eagles - Schedule leak: Eagles to host TNF game week 1 vs either an NFC or AFC opponent. (6 Viewers)

So very happy we let someone else draft Sanders. I could be wrong, very easily, as I really do not know much about him other than who his father is and some basic college stats but, I got the impression he would be bringing a lot of unnecessary baggage with him wherever he landed.

I really like the Eagles selections today. Looking forward to finding out more about each one.

GO BIRDS!!
Dude I did NOT want that circus, followed by Deion comparing his son to the Super Bowl MVP, then ESPN talking about it for years, Eagles fans @'ing all the haters etc.

Kyle McCord is much less controversial lol

I heard they checked in last night did some digging on Sanders and figured right oppurtunity we’ll take him. We got a great coach and culture here for the kid and if we can handle the Vick circus why not.

If the Eagles with Lurie and Howie thought it’d be a good idea who am I to say otherwise from a GM who’s made 2 Eagles SB rosters in my life time. It’s also not about Shadeur as much as it’s about Deion honestly.

Pre-Draft Analysis

McCord spent three seasons at Ohio State before transferring to Syracuse. He led the FBS in passing yards per game and set the ACC's single-season passing yards record (4,779) in his lone season with the Orange. He is an effective point guard who spreads the ball around. Four Syracuse receivers finished the season with more than 60 catches. He locks on to his first option at times, but he can get through progressions and find the open man when his first option isn't there. McCord makes sound reads, and he gets the ball out quickly in run-pass options. His arm is strong enough to make every throw, and he has the touch to drop the ball in downfield. -- Steve Muench

Matt Miller's pro comp: Derek Carr

Hinton is 6-7 323

Pre-Draft Analysis

Hinton started 20 games at right tackle and 11 games at left tackle across five seasons in college. He is smooth getting set, his arms are long, and he has the big hands to latch on when landing his punch as a pass blocker. He can push speed rushers past the quarterback. Hinton is strong enough to hold his ground when winning with his hands. His short shuttle time (4.96 seconds) at the combine is concerning, but he moves his feet better than that time suggests. He's a powerful run blocker who moves defensive linemen off the ball and engulfs defenders in space. -- Steve Muench

Tell you what, Fangio has Howie’s ear and I love it.
Same thoughts, as usual. Yeah man! Pay but $$ then DRAFT the consensus #1 ILB round 1. I haven’t seen anyone influence Howie this heavily before and I am 100% here for it. I can only hope we trade up a bit more to acquire a few DL spots and BPA it out. Feels like Mayer/Musgrave incoming at TE
Ya, I think Howie is a bit more easy going after the 2 recent Super Bowls, and Fangio turned a bad defense into an elite one that one it all. He definitely was in Howie's ear about this guy and when Howie had a shot at incredible value, he did his thing to get it.
You forgot to say VF turned around the defense IN ONE YEAR. VF can draft every player for the rest of his tenure for all I care

They just paid 28 yr old Baun $51 mil. But still, today you need 2 stud LBs
2 CBs in the first 2 rounds last year. A 21-yr-old blue chip prospect with freakish atheleticism and good numbers in the SEC who dropped because of injury concerns.

I don’t know what happened in Philly, but the luxury of taking the true BPA is pretty sweet.
I can tell you what happened. What happened is we are all of a sudden hitting on our picks. No idea how it happened, but name the last 1st rounder we busted on? Yes, 2020 Jalen Raegor. Last 5 years seem :moneybag:

Would love to See Damian Martinez at some point and Rayuan Lane for the Eagles, TEZ at WR or Restrepo, Conyers and Lachey at TE,

Some really good product guys might be UDFAs here too

Really happy for Kellen Moore there in NO. Tyler Shough has a great story Ig you want more go watch or listen to the Todd McShay pods around the draft and shortly after. He interviews this guy at the combine. Bone breaks and was Justin Herbert’s backup at Oregon. Rated one of the best QBs in his class outside of TLaw. Getting his QB year 1 helps that rebuild for him
I like Moore's story. I hated hearing about him while on Dal, but it felt like he got a bit of a raw deal in SD. So glad the place he found to shine was with Phi in a SB run. Best of luck to him.

So Sanders told press that the prank call number traced back to a student at OLe miss. This is big as guess who’s daughter goes to OLE miss? Yep Giants GM Joe Schoen’s not hard to put two and two together since the phone was a brand new number. Somehow that number got leaked just poor professionalism and shotty shop type stuff there

We’re so fortunate to have such a professional organization here with the Eagles

Andrew Makuba you are an Eagle!!! Texas Safety plays like CJGJ!!!
Love this selection as well. Not as big as I’d like but a good ball player with some speed. Love the position selection

Glad they got a safety, not comfortable with Sydney Jones back there, I would have went Watts though.

I like Makuba's speed. Will be a nice compliment to my favorite Eagles player in Reed Blankenship. I still find it wild that Reed plays FS and ran a 4.58 at his pro day. We all know he is out there for his mind and sure tackling, but he needs some speed compliment.

And now we’re done

#Broncos trade 111, 130, 191 to #Eagles for 101, 134.

He is exposed in coverage at times but Reed is a perfect example of having just enough talent coupled with the value of instinctive play/film study and a DC that puts him in the best position to succeed.

Pre-Draft Analysis
Williams is a developmental right tackle with intriguing tools. He's big and strong enough to wall off defenders and get some push in the run game. He's effective combo blocking to the second level and engulfs defenders in space. Williams is not that polished as a pass blocker, but his arms are long, and he is quick enough to ride speed rushers past the quarterback. During a combine interview, Williams said he played this season with an injury that caused his heel to lock up and required surgery. He was already moving well for his size, so he might move even better when fully healthy. -- Steve Muench

Eagles' 6th-round pick Cameron Williams: - Started 10 games at RT for Texas in 2024- 85" wingspan- 6'5, 334 pounds- Former four-star recruitAnother addition to Stoutland University.

The Eagles are building the biggest offensive line the World has ever seen. 6’6 332 Myles Hinton then 6’5 335 lb Cameron Williams. Jeff Stoutland is a happy man

The NFL just let the #Eagles get Cam Williams in round 6. Lovely, Stoutland gets to turn another high upside lineman into a future all-pro.

Pre-Draft Analysis

Powell-Ryland shoots his hands and drives tackles. He can get off blocks at the top of his rush. He times the snap, rips under the outside shoulder and bends inside as a speed rusher. He can shoot gaps when he rushes between the tackles. Powell-Ryland is a disruptive run defender who slips blocks and shoots into the backfield. He makes plays chasing from the backside. -- Steve Muench

Heading to the tie breaker number of letters in final pick's name haha

@JetMaxx you went really high at 19 letters but nailed it exactly with the hyphened name!

Some tweets on Powell-Ryland:

I had the Eagles selecting EDGE Antwaun Powell-Ryland with the 134th overall pick in one of my mock drafts.Philadelphia ultimately landed him with the 209th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Antwaun Powell-Ryland was drafted in round 6 pick 209 in the 2025 draft class. He scored a 9.18 #RAS out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 168 out of 2029 DE from 1987 to 2025.

Antwaun Powell-Ryland is another great value pick for the Eagles and I had him marked as a Fangio guy. Undersized for an EDGE but his technical level at the position is elite. Violent tackler, elite with his hands, and gets great leverage when rushing. Love it

The Eagles do it again. Antwaun Powell-Ryland was one of my favorite players in the ACC. He constantly got to the quarterback. He found his groove the past two years at Virginia Tech with 24.5 sacks (16 sacks in 2024-25!!!)

Howie Roseman takes Antwaun Powell-Ryland. Should be illegal. #NFLDraft

The nfl letting powell ryland fall to the eagles is just not fair. Last yr jalyx hunt.

Powell-Ryland all the way down to the Eagles in R6? Had him going in R4, surprising.

With the 209th overall pick, the Philadelphia Eagles select Antwaun Powell-Ryland He was 3rd in NCAA in sacks with 16.0. Only behind Mike Green and Donavon Ezeiraku. Production type of pick.

Dude **** the eagles wdym they got Antwuan Powell Ryland

3 OL and a QB for offense. Guess Goedert is staying. Also Dotson should be featured more now that he's had a season with the offense.

Yeah, could for sure see Goedert staying.

OL just got some absolute monsters. With our draft picks plus the size of the current guys, it's absolutely enormous. Great news for Jalen and Barkley and the O. Really love this roster/draft, we really filled the holes of the guys we lost really well.

#Eagles landed another productive, athletic player who has no business being available in VT Edge Antwaun Powell-Ryland (@TwaunPowell)

Along with a dominant @ShrineBowl week, he posted a 2024 senior season that included:

✅2nd most sacks per game in the country

✅33.5 TFL, second most in the country over the last two years (only behind Abdul Carter)

✅25.5 sacks across last two years, MOST in the country.

He’s able to win with an ideal combination of burst off the line, twitch as he decisively rushes, and the motor and tackling ability to finish in the backfield.

Plug and play NFL edge rusher with starter traits. 👀

Interesting move here looking at Roster but Ben VanSummeren is officially listed as a Fullback. Yes that’s right we have a FB

I will always remember this one as the Fangio-Stoutland Draft.

Love all the picks other than the very last one.

The DT might be my favorite pick.

Wonder if Stoutland has any ideas of tossing either of these MASSIVE OTs we drafted into the RG/Becton spot?

Smael Mondon selection to me really locks in the fact they want Jihaad to be an edge/Micah Parsons impersonator.

Can’t be mad at anything and the cherry on top is Ian Rappaport reporting basically Dallas Goedert is staying.

Let’s go!

I mean I hear ya. From what I see ELITE speed, but smaller and a one year wonder after doing nothing for years at Florida.

But I mean it’s still a 6th round pick so odds aren’t great to begin with. Overall a very satisfying draft.

Conceptually I get the approach by Howie in this draft. Small trades to maximize pick value, either up or down, and pick players from big schools with pedigree and special traits. Much like his approach to FA for the past couple years.
