1st call - casting director. callback- producers. Director may or may not be there depending on what's being cast. He directed a ton of those episodes, hard to say how hands on he was in casting smaller roles. No matter who they cast she was going to be hot so not sure why it matters whether or not he was involved.

In terms of Eggert not lying, I'm not really sure what she has exactly said so far as I believe there is a tweet talking about something in his garage when she was a minor and calling him a creep. Apparently there were some other tweets that she erased that talked about him molesting her at age 14. In the below interview from 2013, she claims there was some messing around at 16 and she intimates she wanted him to pop her cherry which she claims happened when she was 17 (almost 18)

I actually had a serious thought along these lines. No matter who you believe, Eggert was essentially dropped by her parents or guardians into a toxic cesspool of pervy older guys when she was a teenager. She was then exploited for her looks for about a decade and discarded. 

I don’t want to take back the unspeakable things I did to Blown Away because she got fat. I want to because I feel super creepy about it now. She was packaged for just that purpose and it obviously ####ed her up.

I know most of the comments in here are just typical locker room talk among "the guys" but maybe the thread discussion the ruined childhood of teen actresses and the (alleged) crimes committed against them, which most likely had life long affects on their mental health, isn't the right thread to make fun of their weight problems. :shrug:

Of course, the flip side of her argument is that young men who are looking for casual sexual encounters put themselves at risk of being targeted by these types of accusations. And the more encounters they have, the more risk that they take on. If you don't want to be accused of sexual harassment or assault/date rape, then stop sleeping around.

i think she's telling the truth.  She probably just didn't think it was that weird until she got older.  She has a 19 year old daughter so probably started to think about how messed up it was for a 25+ year old guy to be messing around with a teenager.

Hate stuff like this because it hurts women and young girls that were actually abused. Also if this is the standard for harassment I'm screwed I guess if you can go back 30 years when you were a dumb teenager with raging hormones.

i was in LA in the 70s music biz and, while i dont defend Polanski, i understand him and dont consider his crime anywhere near as severely as Weinstein (though i've little doubt that at least 3/4 of directors have used leverage to bed someone). teen girls were like locusts in Hollywood then. i heard many accounts of a rock star who would line several of em up on a big oak table - legs or bottoms in the air - and pokepokepokepokepoke, if only to get em out da house.

well, i've put me foot in it, aint i? didnt know that stuff, going off what i heard at the time - girl climbed on him, he got the fever, chased, her mom was pimpin, that kinda stuff. apologies -

ETA: i guess that's how pervasive it all was that i heard it as "no biggie" from men & women at the time
