Found this tidbit for you:

Aaron Hernandez departed early during the media portion, which consisted of stretching and the start of positional drills.

Speculation is that his departure was not injury related.

I have asked around on this. Hernandez has been nursing something for the past few weeks. No one really knows what it is, but it does not appear to be serious as he has mostly gone to practice and played in the preseason games as well. I would think it's not something major, but that is mostly a guess on my part.
