Oh Google.

I'm seeing ads interrupt youtube videos midstream now. I'm not talking about 30-45 minutes pompous atheist clips, but rather interruptions at the five minute mark of a six minute video. WTF!

You don't use adblock? I haven't seen an ad on Youtube in forever.

Literally I work with a half dozen different PCs and I've just never bothered to get my #### together when it comes to adblocker. Probably time to devote a little time. ... I want to be kind to advertisers, but man they suck more everyday.

Clicking on a news article to read it and having a video automatically play.

I don't want to watch a video and I don't want to be surprised by audio blaring out of my speakers, I want to read the article.
This drives me absolutely crazy. CNN and CBSsports are the biggest offenders for me.

You notice what else CNN does? If you leave the page open for 30mins, all of a sudden... AUDIO. IT might be an ad but I think it's a news video. I don't know, I kill it fast. I should probably stop going to CNN.

Didn't notice-I'm never on the page long enough. I prefer BBC anyway, and this just pushes me further toward them.

What do you anti-business card guys do when you're in meetings with people you don't know? I always align the cards on the table in front of me so that I know who I'm talking to.

Earbuds in while driving. Like, what?
I do this all the time, especially when running weekend errands and listening to podcasts.
Can you still hear stuff, like sirens?

Maybe the folks I've seen doing this are just more of the distracted type.

There's no way I could do it.
Yes you can, but most of the time I just have one earbud in.
Yeah the ones that I've seen have had both in and are obviously quite oblivious to everything going on around them. Totally missed going through a green light because some dolt was looking down at his phone (presumably changing what he was listening to). Gave him a courtesy honk. Waited. Longer honk. Green light gone.

Really should be allowed to beat down at least 2 people for obnoxious traffic behavior per year. Like a punch ticket. Police hear why it happened, punch your license and move on.

Basically anything that millenials do. I am officially old and bitter.
Maybe it's a generational thing. The millenials are grandchildren-age to me and I think they're a pretty ok bunch, if not particularly nuanced. It's the Gen Xers that I want to smack.
In other words, 80% of the posters here?
Know-it-all mofos. They're hard to like sometimes.
I Know. I know everything you're talking about.

Isn't this against the law? If not, it should be.
I think it is.Edit: it is in my state.

Here in Wisconsin, I think they recently banned headphones but not earbuds. Not sure what the difference is. I think both should be banned. You need to hear your surroundings while driving.
I would imagine, since texting or talking on a handset is illegal, that you're allowed a bluetooth or earbud for phone calls? different than plugging both ears and listneing to music.

Then you'd have to ban speakers in your car too. Just because you have headphones in your ears doesn't mean that you have to have the volume cranked to the point of hearing nothing.

This doesn't bother me, but over-the-ear headphones while driving is messed up

They banned headphones because it's putting a muffling device over your entire ear - with sound. Very dangerous. Earbuds have to be pretty damned loud to not hear anything. Having earbuds at moderate volume doesn't impair you much.

It used to be against the law most places, but then they made holding a cell phone in your hand agains the law and a lot of people use the same kind of earbuds to talk on the phone as they would to listen to music, so...

I checked my state of PA - and the answer for here is yes.

Naming tv shows the same as familiar movies.

Fatal Attraction, Face/Off, The Game. I recently sat through 10 minutes of the Breakfast Club on Revolt because I thought it was a commercial break.

Guys with thick dark eyebrows and baby smooth area between. Try to make it a little natural, you look like an alien.

STOP TALKING ABOUT ANAL SEX AND MAKING IT SOUND LIKE IT'S THE GREATEST THING EVAH!!!Better?
You butthurt, bro?
Speaking of painful anuses....

Grunting like you're giving birth when taking a dump in a public restroom. Good grief. There are dudes that use the bathroom at my work that sound like they're passing watermelons through straws. I even give the courtesy cough just in case he missed the fact that one of the stalls was occupied on his way in and he's still in there sounding like he needs an epidural.

This needs to stop, it just makes me want to vomit.
