***AFC Championship - Kansas City Chiefs 13-6 at Baltimore Ravens 14-4*** (-4, 44.5) 3:00 (1 Viewer)

I feel like this is a baltimore blowout (as per usual)

The only way the chiefs win this is if LJ makes some mistakes
I keep going back and fourth with this.

Has Mahomes and Reid ever lost to Baltimore? I feel like they have their number.
That SNF game a few years ago when the Chiefs RB fumbled late when they were almost field goal, but I think that is it.

I am not prediciting a Chiefs win (I am torn on what I think will happen), but I think some are overlooking how good the KC defense has been this year. It is hard to see the team with the best current QB, the best current coach and a top 5 defense just rolling over and becoming just another Ravens victim of a blowout.

The more I think about it, the closer the score gets in my head.

I think if things break right that KC can give Baltimore fits. Their secondary is that good.

Not having Willie Gay hurts a lot, but Tranquill is no slouch and has gotten lots of reps this year.

check the Ravens games against the two best NFC teams (Lions and Niners).
San Francisco ran the ball 18 times (avg 6.7 ypc) and threw it 46 times in that game. If they play again, I bet those numbers will be flipped. The way to beat Lamar and the Ravens is to run the ball, control the clock, and limit his possessions by keeping him off the field.

Just saying, a rematch won't look anything like the first meeting IMO.
SF/BAL rematch to me is the best possible pure matchup on the field for the Super Bowl. I'd imagine that SF would have chip on their shoulder about that last matchup as well.

Toney went on a tirate on Instagram today claiming he ain't hurt at all. Chiefs deactivated him from the game today for "personal reasons and injury".

Not to mention the 5-0 turnover edge. Doubtful that will be repeated. If the teams meet again it’s highly likely to be a far more competitive game. That doesn’t take away from the fact that the original poster put the Ravens 2 td win on the road at the presumed at the time best team in football in a “meh” category since it was only by 2 possessions. Kind of a bizarre way to evaluate a team.
That was my main issue with that trainwreck of a post.

I'm Chiefed out. No more Mahomes. No more Reid. No more Kelce. No more Swift. No way this game isn't close in the 4th quarter. Gonna be fun.

Get it done Lamar.

Ravens 31
Chiefs 28.

I like how the Nantz pre-game hype, which idk if he writes himself, but going into a commercial, they had to asterisk Lamar with:

"....blah blah as Pat Mahomes matches up with the best player in the game THIS SEASON".

"Cats are People too"
Finback out of NY
Delicious!

"Pop Queen"
Weldwerks in Colorado

Not sure what the next move is from here but I'm not likely getting up off the couch

I don't know, Jim . . . Jim? Gene? Tracy?

Murderer in the arena. Let's pick this Baltimore crowd up with a guy who flipped state's evidence.

I take back what I wrote.

I can absolutely see Baltimore boat racing the injured Chiefs.

Pacheco has swelling in his toe and ankle?

Thuney is out?

Gay is out? To be replaced by Leo Chenal?

GLLLL PEAS
Chiefs have a really good defense and a really good QB, the two things that matter most this time of year. Of course, so do the Ravens.

Love seeing Ray Lewis there. I laughed when it happened and his Super Bowl entrance still gives me a chuckle:

67 yd punt by the Ravens
Chiefs have already changed field position getting it out past the 40, and now 50 with another first down for the Chiefs

That's kinda huge early in a football game
