a "well rested" Patriots defense looked like swiss cheese against the less than elite offense of the Baltimore Ravens last week.

Did Baltimore even have to convert a 3rd down on either of those first two drives?

I can only remember the Ravens tearing off 6, 9, and 12 yard plays ... one after the other.

And then that last minute drive to end the first half ... very little resistance.

Pats were fortunate to come out with a victory and were one Edleman "self" fumble recovery away from losing. (No idea how he was able to get the ball back under that pile of Ravens)

Colts were a Flacco "hail mary" completion away from having a home game this week.

That swiss cheese defense has giving up a total of 1 TD in the second half of their last 6 games. This great Indy team beat a QB who has never won in the postseason when he didn't have his best receiver and a QB that is the biggest playoff choker in the history of the game when he could barely throw the ball. They are a fraud team and that will be apparent to everyone Sunday night.

I'm watching every second of that Super Bowl, hoping for an interesting game .... and rooting for my squares.

This is what I have to do. I'm just pissed at the matchup. I like having a team that I want to see win.

I don't like either team. I respect them as the best teams but don't like them. Carroll rubs me the wrong way but he showed huge cajones on the fake FG and actually coached to win. I respect that. And Belichik finds a way to piece together a bunch of role WR and keeps winning. Yeah, he pushes the rules but nobody knows them better than he does.

Not excited to see either team running around with another ring but I'll tip my cap to them.
