Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Thread (2 Viewers)

So Tlaib during a congressional hearing with bank heads asked Jamie Dimon if JPM would commit to stopping lending to oil and gas projects. His answer - "Absolutely not and that would be the road to hell for America." :lmao: :lmao: You don't often here unfiltered responses in those things, but it was nice to see a brutally honest answer to her question.

I think she then said maybe people should close their accounts at the bank if they don't.
Maybe JPM should close their accounts that help fund her campaigns? How that woman ever got elected is beyond me. A real box of rocks that one is. The whole Squad is like that.

She did because somehow she thinks it's JPMs job to reduce student loan debt. She doesn't have a strong record on clear thinking so I'm not surprised I can't follow her. Her statement that one should avoid a legal business in the US from her perch of power is pretty disgusting.

She and her cronies in the Squad are all Socialists (Marxists?) - of course they're going to do everything they can to undermine the current system to install their version. Oh, and their version means they have all the money and power, not private businesses or regular joes.

Wrong thread. This the AOC thread. Tlaid has her own thread.

I searched and missed it. She's part of the squad, so this is close enough. Grenades, horseshoes, etc.

As much as I dislike AOC, this type of behavior really annoys me and shouting down speakers is nothing more than an attempt at censorship. You can still be respectful and wait your turn.

People like that should be punched in the face and then removed from the room if they can't behave themselves.

Cortez did seem a little intimidated and shocked. Not a fan of this behavior, this is Cal-Berkley stuff.

Thought the black dude was going to charge the stage.

It is a taste of her own medicine...she's the one who said "the whole point of protesting is to make people uncomfortable."

Well she was uncomfortable for sure so she was correct.

She didn't seem the least bit uncomfortable there.

1) I don't know how you reach that conclusion from that video which - unless I'm missing a clearer and better angle - is focused on the guys screaming.

2) She just let the guys scream. I did that with my kids who threw tantrums. Let them scream until they tired themselves out and could listen to reason.

I'll have to review but that D+ quality video didn't show an uncomfortable congresswoman at all.

She’s not really hot though.

Oh stop. That's silly. By all objective measures of beauty she is an incredibly attractive person. Ask @offdee

For a politician she's an 8, easy.
Her political views knock 5 off of that for me, now go from there.

Plenty of politicians possess views that rankle Fox news devotees. She stands out amongst all of them. Why do you think that is? If she looked like Marge Schott, she'd be a nobody. Fox news keys on her because their addicted viewership can't get enough of her.

Good body, but she's ultimately more cute than hot.

7: Cute girl at the club, in classes, at work, in apt building. Definitely cute, but not tops locally.

Great body, impeccable skin. For a politician serving in DC, name a better looking one. Congressional 9, easy.

Ever since her puppet master, Saikat Chakrabarti, left AOC has become irrelevant. She use to set the tone on issues and have some vision. She still babbles about nonsense, but now there is no real cause or direction.

Politics 10. Hand down. She has the natural advantage of being in Congress at a very young age.

With that said, age will catch up with her in the next few years and lower the score. Whereas a Kristi Noem is already somewhat aged and still a smoke show, so her rank of a political 9 will hold up longer.

The hotness of a socialist is tepid at best in my world. Fox can show whatever.

Politically 8 for sure but that is the political curve. In a room with Pelosi, Tlaib, Feinstein, Abrams might be closer to a 10+.

Offdee is correct. On the street or in a club a 7. Noem 20 years older is as good or better taken her age in account. But both are attractive.

That's fine, I respect everyone's opinion.
With that said, who sets the curve? By definition, someone from the political realm has to be the 10.

Noem. Then again there is little hot in politics.

Noem reminds me of "two faced" Seinfeld girlfriend. Very attractive in certain light, other times not so much

Google Cortez pictures. Looks hot in some, like a donkey in others.

I only need one angle.

There is no political curve. You're either hot or you're not. Doesn't matter what your profession or age is. One Scale. One Love. Science is Science.

10: Almost flawless and very rare. Could be a top model, top playboy centerfold (nationally amazing, the MENSA of hotness)

9: The hottest girl at the club, The hottest girl at school, etc (more locally amazing)

8: One of the hotter women at the club, one of the hotter girls at school (upper class of hot women)

7: Cute girl at the club, in classes, at work, in apt building. Definitely cute, but not tops locally.

6: Fairly attractive, no major flaws but maybe minor ones

5: Starting to be unattractive, but certain qualities work in her favor. Nothing major, but minor problems are more common

4: Not attractive. Major flaws start piling up (overweight, blemishes, etc.)

3: One of the uglier girls in school, one of the uglier girls at work (lower class of ugly women)

2: The ugliest girl in school, the ugliest girl at work (couldn't even get into a club)

1: Absolutely disgusting and hard to look at. Young children point and adults look away upon seeing (not one single redeeming quality)

I laugh every time I read this, but it is actually quite accurate. Taking politics out of the equation AOC is a 7.

She’s not really hot though.
She's no Boebert or Murphy either one, pick your side. I'm not sure why everyone insists she's hot so people are obsessed with her. Maybe it's me, she's just not my type, even beyond politics. She's cute I guess, nothing wrong with her, but not someone that on the street if you saw you'd give a second look to.

This was on the front page of Fox News. I’m sure any story about AOC gives them lots of clicks.

If she wasn't hot, there wouldn't be any clicks. Fox knows what gets their viewers drooling.

I think you guys watch Fox News more than conservatives do!

I quit watching all news for good a couple years ago. Great decision. However - on election night, I go to Fox. They're better than CNN. IMO.

Noem uses a sandblaster to administer makeup. What's she hiding under there? She has like scales or something on her chest.

Offdee sets the curve. This was decided and agreed upon over a decade ago. He's our attractiveness scale official. Think of him like our Terry McAulay.

Pelosi is old enough to be Noem's mother. Back in the day, though, Pelosi >>>> Gnome.

To be fair, the entire leadership of the Democrat Party is old enough to be George Washington's parents.
