They're really playing up this Google Assistant and AI.
Sounds like the Pixels are made of aluminum. No other specs yet

Pretty cool Assistant feature being demonstrated. For those of us that hate texting the voice text looks awesome. They're really playing up this Google Assistant and AI.

What is this - I have it and have no idea what is doesWow, camera looks good. Video stabilization, HDR+, no shutter lag
that's a game changer if true15 minutes of charging gets 7 hours of battery life.
Essentially it takes a few pictures at a time when in low light and in a way combines them. You get better low light pictures because it would typically take a longer exposureWhat is this - I have it and have no idea what is does
Thank you sir. I am not a big picture guy but had no idea.Essentially it takes a few pictures at a time when in low light and in a way combines them. You get better low light pictures because it would typically take a longer exposure
:(I assume the Verizon model will come loaded with all their bloatware?
Isn't that true for all Google Photo backups now?Unlimited photo and video storage.
I think with Google Phones you can get them unlocked - VZW has a list of phones they started to allow on the networkI assume the Verizon model will come loaded with all their bloatware?
But no carrier branding!I assume the Verizon model will come loaded with all their bloatware?

Storage? So they weren't too clear but it seems the only difference between Pixel and Pixel XL are the size of the screen and size of the battery?

not yet. Smaller 32GB option starts at $650 thoughdid they offer pricing on the two models?
Check out the Note if you go this route imoPricey as expected I guess. Was thinking about giving Google Fi a shot. It seems to be between Verizon and the galaxy 7, and Fi and the smaller Pixel.
Too big. I have the note 4, and I really want the smaller size phone.Check out the Note if you go this route imo

Correct. I sync via Photos through my Note and switched on my PC to convert the ones I had stored as originalChoose a storage size

But let's break that out to $30/month over 36 months....the consumer won't even notice.Welcome to the day & age of $1000 cell phones.
lolCan you add a micro SD card? 32 should be fine if you can add memory.
It's an Android iPhone 7 with a headphone jack that you can use with Project Fi.The specs on the new Pixel were leaked by Bell accidentally. I was glossing over them yesterday and was pretty unimpressed. Pretty much identical form factor to the iphone, nothing new really other than a presumably beefed up processor. Is there anything really new or interesting about it?
You're right. It's subtle, but I held both of them and the S7size is just more comfortable for one hand operation.gotcha. I don't find the note 7 that much bigger than the S7 though ...
153.50 x 73.90 x 7.90
150.90 x 72.60 x 7.70
Not sure I am buying into it, but here is a list someone else made: http://www.theverge.com/2016/10/4/13144486/google-phone-features-pixel-software-announcedIs there anything really new or interesting about it?
Gotcha . For jerking.... if you know what I meanYou're right. It's subtle, but I held both of them and the S7size is just more comfortable for one hand operation.
Who would ever pay that unless your smartphone were critical to your job for some reason?Welcome to the day & age of $1000 cell phones.

Uh huh. tv, recordings, NFL.... right. For me I watch A LOT of video on my phone (tv, recordings, NFL, movies) my old phone was geeting tough in that regard.
Admittedly, I can see where with a large screen nice phone that you wouldn't need a camera any longer unless you're a semi-serious photographer.. and I can see where things are getting closer to not even needing a computer. Now that most consumers aren't buying a camera, computer, tablet, etc. They have to get the price of all 3 in 1 device.
Except you're getting mediocre versions of all of them and your device will be obsolete in two years. Now that most consumers aren't buying a camera, computer, tablet, etc. They have to get the price of all 3 in 1 device.
