...but let's say they are. Take a stab at the top 15 RB's that are ranked right now on the site. Let's say they are all projected to have the same stats... How would the ranking be if you only go on injury status, situation, o line, coaching changes, and other intangibles. Could 14 be 2? Want to see your thoughts.

reason being, being leary of gore because of injury or LJ with line probably declining for example... just seeing who has the best glow around them.

If they are all projected to have the same stats, I would rank them 1-a, 1-b, 1-c, through 1-o.

Here's my best shot at it. FWIW, I've included weekly consistancy into the mix.

1 Joseph Addai, IND RB#8 - low mileage and easiest RB job in NFL

2 Steven Jackson, STL RB#2 - lots of carries last season, but stable situation and no injury history

3 LaDainian Tomlinson, SD RB#1 - only concern is mileage, coaching change will be a push at worst

4 Willie Parker, PIT RB#6 - only concern is coaching change, verly slight durability concerns

5 Travis Henry, DEN RB#9 - has some injury history, but is in a great situation

6 Willis McGahee, BAL RB#15 - injury history, but on a better team and is the clear cut #1

7 Brian Westbrook, PHI RB#5 - only concern is injury history…but it is a big concern

8 Reggie Bush, NO RB#11 - splitting time with Deuce & ankle last year

9 Rudi Johnson, CIN RB#10 - too many miles and a good young back behind him

10 Clinton Portis, WAS RB#13 - injury is only real issue, Betts hurts a little, though.

11 Frank Gore, SF RB#4 - how long can he run that hard on a rebuilt body?

12 Shaun Alexander, SEA RB#7 - old and coming off a major injury is a bad combo

13 Laurence Maroney, NE RB#12 - shoulder is a major concern and Pats players are inconsistant week to week

14 Larry Johnson, KC RB#3 - holdout starting to be a major issue in addition to O-line & QB

15 Maurice Jones-Drew, JAX RB#14 - gets the least touches out of the top 15 and team's passing game is bad

Great list Jayrod. It's good to look at when you just can't pick between two guys. If I went by your list would probably take Addai at 4 rather then 7 or 8. Minimize risk!
