Pretty unrealistic. In real life, a witch wouldn't be able to flip a bus like that. Not without a wand.

In this modern age, a witch can flip a bus just by flipping it the bird.Pretty unrealistic. In real life, a witch wouldn't be able to flip a bus like that. Not without a wand.
Did you see Jessica Lange dig up Kathy Bates body? If you saw that part, you didn't miss anything.Yes.simey said:Did you see the part where Jessie Lange took the girls to the house where Kathy Bates' character lived, and they were taken on a tour?shuke said:Pissed the DVR cut off right before Farmiga was about to ride the dude in the hospital. I'd think her special power fries the semen as well. Awesome superpowerWhat if she gets pregnant from riding that hospital guy?
Well played sir.Mmmmm, witch sandwitch. AarghhhhhHomer like Taissa Farmiga and the blonde chick. Homer would like to like them both at the same time.
And no brooms? This is BSPretty unrealistic. In real life, a witch wouldn't be able to flip a bus like that. Not without a wand.
Kathy Bates character, Madame LaLaurie, isn't that old. I don't know if you know this or not, but Madame LaLaurie existed in real life. Her name was Marie Delphine LaLaurie, and she was most commonly known as Madame LaLaurie. She was a New Orleans socialite, and she was also a serial killer. Her upper floor in her house was a torture chamber for slaves. It really happened. I think it's cool that AHS is weaving parts of history into the story this season. Anyway, I think the first two episodes were great. I look forward to more.immortal old lady with no powers
Meh Im not getting the same thing you are. Those things are all related. Not sure I am going to stay in it this season. I liked the first season and got lost in season 2 and stopped watching it. This one seems like it should hold together better than last season, but after just two shows it feels like we already have too many characters/story lines. I think that is what I couldn't stand last season. I don't care about realism or suspending my beliefs, but when you have aliens, human experiments, drunk nuns with hit and run murders, serial killers and demons, I just lost interest. Only 2 weeks and we have a frankenstein, police investigations, immortal voodoo priestess, witches that can't die, pharmaceutical trials, witch that wants to get pregnant, gang rapes, immortal old lady with no powers, teenage witches and a minotaur. That is in 80 minutes of TV. I am starting to think I will stop watching soon.
I think it would have been far better to just center on the young witch and every one else provides side stories, similar to how season 1 was basically all about the family and the house. Lots of other characters, but they were basically all from one story line about what happens at the house.

For example, the police investigation was based on the deaths of a bunch of frat brothers who gang raped a teenage witch who then proceeded to create a frankenstein out of one of them.
Another example, there is no witch that cannot die. The Supreme witch wants to become immortal and was funding pharmaceutical trials but when that didn't work she dug up the immortal old lady with no powers who was cursed by the voodoo priestess because she killed her husband thus turning him into a minotaur somehow.
Hated last season as many know.. so far LOVING this season..
She doesn't seem lost to me.The only one who seems a little lost at this point is Paulson's character and, given how good an actress she is, I suspect that's due to the writers.
That is pretty cool and by old, I mean Kathy Bates old.Kathy Bates character, Madame LaLaurie, isn't that old. I don't know if you know this or not, but Madame LaLaurie existed in real life. Maybe true, I'm in for a bit, but getting worried that it is going to be too busy like last season. The pace of the first show was a lot more about discovering what was going on, but last season was just all over the place and I stopped watching because it wasn't interesting. This season seems like it is going there as well. There is no mystery, we already know the voodoo priestess and that the undying witch didn't die at all.Meh Im not getting the same thing you are. I agree with this, so far Lange is the only thing I like and the past scenes of Kathey Bates' character.Watched Ep 2 last night. The scene where Lange dressed down the 2 young witches was phenomenal. Just like in Season 2, I was blown away by her acting talent. That one scene alone wouldn't be enough if it weren't for the other 2 seasons to compare it to. I found myself comparing that scene to similar outbursts of anger in the first two seasons and am just really impressed once again that she sounds like a totally different person. I think she's brilliant.
I'm thinking "Stevie Nicks" will have something to do with this.Big fan of a slutty Emma Roberts.

Yeah this episode was a bit out there. Seems like the writers tend to enjoy pushing the envelope with sex.Incest and bestiality in one episode
Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk liked to push the envelope with Nip/Tuck too. They don't do it with Glee, but they do like to push issues on Glee.Zow said:Yeah this episode was a bit out there. Yeah that may have been the best amh episode of all the seasons
Many good episodes from season 1. But loved the build up to the war and the potential for the rest of the season.
actingpretty obvious all along that Farmiga is the "chosen one", but nice to see some evidence of that.
what was Jessica Lange doing before this show started a couple years? she is pretty nails as an actress.
not much, apparently.shadyridr said:actingMaik Jeaunz said:pretty obvious all along that Farmiga is the "chosen one", but nice to see some evidence of that.
