Anyone else about to burst? (1 Viewer)

Like many of you I started working on my prep before the NFL draft. And now, 5 months and change later we are two days away from all the homework, prognosticating, and endless debating coming to fruition. All theories, strategies, and fixations get put to the test about 28 hours from now.

If I can't geek out about this here, where can I? Are you ready for some  ?

I am

:X

GB vs Phi - Kolb under center a new era in Eagles football starts Sunday - Yeah I am ready to burst.

Yep, bursting over the NFL season and the U of Miami vs. Ohio State, FSU vs. Oklahoma............... so many great games all weekend long! :goodposting:

Burst is a good word. I've got everything ready for Sunday - food, drinks, friends coming over, laptop at the ready to keep an eye on my fantasy teams and hopefully a nice road win for the Panthers to kick it all off on a high note.

God I've missed football! :nerd:

I have to admit I am a little conflicted about tonight. Auburn vs Mississippi State is the first SEC matchup of the season and it's on tonight. Need to figure out the PiP pretty quick.

I am so psyched...season tickets + great friends = seats right at midfield every week...man it's electric out there.I'm a little excited to see if Dallas can pull off a SB at home...

I'm excited. You learn more in week 1 than any other time of the year. The rubber meets the road and you find out whether you're right or not on many of the players/teams you're rooting for. At the end of Sunday, you have a pretty strong feel for whether you team/fantasy team is going to be a contender or whether its going to be a long year.

Of course, there are always a few week 1 red herrings (Quintin Griffin is for real! Almost 200 total yards and 3 TDs in week 1, this guy could be the #1 RB this year!), but still you learn a ton on that first Sunday.

Whoa...I disagree. Week 1 is a fun week, but its still just one game. Next week will be full of over-reaction and smart owners will capitalize.

I can't get within 14 inches of something without knocking something over. That's how excited I am!!! My wife is also excited.
