I'm a neutral on the match. Only upside is that if Villa wins, we'll get to see more Jack Grealish drunk in the street pics :pickle:

The real loser Saturday is Gator's dominant hand and penis.  Callouses and skin burns are a real thing.

What's the record for masturbatory climaxes in a 90 minute window?

The richest game in all of soccer. Deloitte did a valuation a couple years ago and I think they estimated value to the winner at about £150mil. Obviously much more if they can stay up. I think the tradition in this game is the winning club gives all the game day revenues to the loser to soften the blow.
Swiss Ramble - has a good handle on soccer finances - shows the impact for each team for winning today:

Fulham: £155M

Aston Villa:  £142M

This assumes that the team that wins today will finish last next season in the PL, obviously if they stay up, its worth even more.  The primary difference between the clubs is that Aston Villa still has one more parachute payment from being relegated from PL in 2016.

Sometimes I wonder whether the really smart owners try to hover in the drop zone and bounce up and down.  It seems every year about this time I read something that says the last place PL team earns more than teams at or near the top in other leagues.  Then they dump payroll and get the relegation payments.

I hate how ESPN does this.
Sports broadcasting is a funny business - the main ESPN FC crew are actually in Kiev (I am not even sure that Fox is sending a crew to Kiev, and they have the broadcast rights to that match).

But ESPN is probably just picking up the standard feed, with announcers, for the Championship playoff.

It's always cool to see big clubs visit Craven Cottage.  Now the fun really starts for Fulham.  Job #1 is to hang on to Ryan Sessegnon.  It seems like they got a lot of production from loan signings that they'll need to either retain or replace.

I love that place. Just hate watching them play

Is Fox doing the bit where the announcers are in an LA studio instead of at the event?

@TonyKhan: In the car with my family listening to Free Fallin’ + I Won’t Back Down by Tom Petty, and Edge of Glory by Lady Gaga; this is the best night ever. To everyone involved in helping us reach this stage tonight and winning promotion, I can’t thank you enough for making this possible
