Just a small list. Nominate whomever you think wins the prize.

Mathews for me. Supremely disappointing. I had monster hopes for him.

McFadden without a doubt in my mind.

From what I had read he was back to beast mode.

Guess what ? He wasn't and sucks big time.

Never again will I draft his sorry ###.

Other - Stafford. The 1st 3 guys on the list performed pretty muuch like they always do. Standing around hurt.

Jones drew played on a #### team.

Everyone knows Fits has no QB.

Rivers is duplicating the suck of last year.

Jennings was hurt so I discount that. He hasn't had a chance to show if he was a dissappointment.

Vick is vick every year. No disappointment at all there.

Gates is close but Rivers takes him down again.

Stafford played 11 games and sucked compared to last year - with a better team. Stafford had 40 TDs last year and won't hit 30 this year. He may not even hit 25. His drop off is due to suckage. Most of the rest are due to their usual injuries.

This was discussed at length in the McFadden thread, but the ZBS was killing him more than any other factor. I'd take another shot on him if they committed to a power running scheme next year. That said, he seems to have an annual serious injury now.

Stafford is a curious case. The yards are there but the dropoff in TDs is hard to take.

Voted Larry because I own him and because he's been healthy... something many on this list cannot say.

Cam Newton went as high as the 1st round in some QB heavy leagues I compete in.

Julio Jones will not get a lot of votes but he snuck into the late 1st, he's not even int he top 12 on the season.

DeMarco Murray was also a 1st round RB in several leagues.

Murray is in the poll. Throw a vote his way.

The first three guys on the list are on my team....i would also add shady and nicks. Voted mcfadden

THe thing about Scam is this. If you paid attention to last year, he came out on fire and went south the whole way. He just picked up where he left off.

I would think many would say Mathews given the preseason hype, but Phil Rivers has my vote. I know he wasn't great last year, but I think owners who drafted him were expecting a low end QB1 in a possible bounceback year, or at least a reasonably consistent starter equivalent to a Romo, Ben, Eli or perhaps Andrew Luck. What they got was basically a desperation start bottom of the barrel QB2. He's been awful all year, with the exception of 1 or 2 games.

Murray - everyone was hyping him up as the next big thing - and now the only things you can hear (metaphorically speaking) in the Murray threads are crickets.

Has to be b/w murray and McFadden. at least when murray played he played pretty well...same cant be said for McFadden, so ill vote DMC.

McFadden fair enough, but Murray has missed most of the season through injury. Sure, that's disappointing for his owners, but I think that should exclude you from lists like this.

Ryan Mathews was receiving an ungodly amount of hype this preseason. He just hasn't been performing. He's been healthy (outside of first two games) but just a drag on your lineup. At least with DMC he was hurt.

Haha I played in two leagues this year and I drafted the top 5 guys on this list. Considering retirement. It's been a rough year. I hope it's understandable that I abstain. This is just a painful topic for me.

Yep, id rather have dmc and know to sit him while Marcel Reese gets some points. Matthews owners have been stubbornly starting him and losing every week.

Why McFadden over Fitzgerald?

McFadden has been gone due to injury, but at least in those games owners could play a WW pickup or some other drafted player.

Fitzgerald has been healthy every single game and has just been horrible.... so owners either have to just accept it and bench him or ride it out... but it's a lot more complicated than with someone just being hurt and out.

Injuries suck but are part of the game. Underperformance is worse if you ask me.

It is sad that I had four of the guys on this list on my team - no wonder I wrapped up a 3-10 season today. Just realized I had 5 guys on the list as I traded Cobb and McFadden for Murraythe week before Murray disappeared with injury.

Vick was my biggest disappointment - but Fitz was probably the biggest overall and somehow I didn't have him.

I thought about this, but there would be no list if I listed ONLY disappointing players who have played in every game.Of the players in the poll, only Rivers and Fitzgerald would remain as poll options.

The bottom line is, whether it's due to injury or poor performance (or both), you were still disappointed.

It hurts to say this cause I love the way the guy plays but it is Fitzgerald. When someone gets hurt it is hard to call them a disaster in my eyes.

If you can't blame someone for getting hurt, it seems unfair to blame Fitz for being an Arizona Cardinal.Put him on one of about 20 other teams, and he's a 1,300 yard guy with double-digit TDs.

The thing about your post is this. It's fundamentally wrong. Cam started this season with some very good weeks and some clunkers. He's finishing the season strong. In my league he's basically even with Matt Ryan right now, and is back within 1.4ppg of last year.

I voted for Fitzgerald. He has been a healthy waste. Some of the other guys got injured at various points this season.

I am in three leagues this year. Two of the guys (Murray and Fitzgerald) in this poll were first round picks for me. I am a combined 19-7 in those leagues.

Very close between McFadden and Mathews. They probably were in that heavily debated 4th rated rb slot more than all others, and have both sucked. Flip a coin.

Really wonder what the future holds for DMac though.

You failed to comprehend what I said. I said he's not a disappointment. He's scoring where he should. Middle of the road. Unless you are in some league that gives scam bonus points for his stuperman poses, he's worse than last year but scoirng where I expected since his first few 2011 weeks were total flukes.

Tough call between Mathews and McFadden for me, I expected monster seasons from both and was very high on them as 1st round picks but both have struggled with injuries(big surprise), but more shockingly they have struggled big time production-wise. Really regret not buying into AP's quick/amazing recovery. Thankfully I wasn't able to land Mcfadden in my leagues, but do own Mathews in 3. I can't really count injured players so that rules out guys like Jennings and Murray for me.

I guess I missed where you said he wasn't a disappointment. I don't think anybody was expecting him to average over 400 passing yards a game. Since his week 6 bye, only Brady, Manning and RG3 have been better.

As for the total flukes that were his first few weeks of 2011, he's had 3 fantasy performances on par with those games so far this year. He also had his best week of 2011 in week17 last year.

To me, it's got to be Fitzgerald. With Mcfadden and Murray, you knew the injury risks coming in, so I don't think you could be surprised when it happened. Mcfadden was a little more disappointing however, because he was largely ineffective when he played.

Fitzgerald though, was hailed as a guy that finds a way to "get his" regardless of who the QB was...and he has been a horrible disappointment to his owners this year.

How is Mathews more disappointing than McFadden? Not only has Mathews sucked less, but his ADP was a full round lower than McFadden's.

Considering where they were drafted and the expectations, you could add Aaron Rodgers and Jimmy Graham.

Rodgers had a handful of great games but lots of mediocre ones.

Graham missed several games to injury, had a case of the drops, and had a few so-so games.
