Biggest LIES from famous music lyrics? Whatcha got? (1 Viewer)

Springsteen seemed to be a chronic liar:

“He could throw that speedball by ya, make you look like a fool.”

- No one has ever thrown a pitch of that type.

“Can’t start a fire without a spark.”

- Talk to Smokey the Bear about that one.

Sorry but I think mister springsteen is being honest

"Shooting at the walls of heartache
I am the warrior"

Well no, you're a crackhead shooting up an apartment while the cops are on the way.

I said, "Yes, sir, Officer Obie, I cannot tell a lie, I put that envelope
under that garbage."

Contrary to what the Who said, not all teenagers were wasted back in 1971. There were some tea-totaling eggheads in the mix.

I think we already established that Bon Jovi could not possibly have rocked all of those million faces.

When I saw Tenacious D, the stage announcer introduced them as "a band that's seen a million faces, and kicked those faces' asses. So be prepared to have your faces' asses kicked."

"Bow wow wow, yippy yo yippy yay Doggy Dogg's in the mother****in' house"

I've looked all over and have never been able to find him.

"Born and raised in South Detroit"

There is no such place.
There is no place referred to as South Detroit, but there is geographically a part of the city that is indeed south relative to other parts.

Obviously cities have all directions, but anyone from here knows it is east and west.
Sure but nobody says East Detroit either. East Sider.

I feel like South West Detroit is the only one I hear referred to geographically .

Same. People refer to the east side or the west side but people never say East Detroit.
